We were shopping around for a while before deciding to go with Oasis Moving because all the horror stories we've been hearing about moving companies in Las Vegas. We finally decided to go with this company for two main reasons: 1st they had a fair price and also because the girl at their main office was so helpful and patient. The movers who showed up were extremely friendly and did their best to make us feel comfortable about the whole thing.

I would like to say that I was more then happy about this company. I hired Oasis Moving to move me to my new apartment in Henderson. They sent a truck with a very short notice and as promissed. The movers that arrived to my house were more then just "movers" they were just so friendly and helpful. Though I did not have many things to move the guys were incredibly fast. Special thanks to J'avier!

Oasis is a nightmare: Before using this company please do the following things and then read my story. A. Better Business Website: Rating D+ Review the company rating. B. Google company name: First site, "Stay Away from Oasis". There is an entire list of people who have been scamed by this company. C. Call Oasis customer service: 702-240-584. No one answers and you cannot leave a message because the box is full. D. They don't have a website or email. My story: 1. They only take cash (except for 50% of the deposit). 2. They seriously under-quoted me and when they arrived the price jumped $1000. 3. It took them 3.5 weeks to get from San Francisco to Chicago. 4. When my stuff arrived many items were damaged or lost: Mattress was soaking wet. Books were wet. Paintings were damaged. My clothes wet and covered in mold. Couch springs snapped off. Couch pieces missing. Mirror missing. 5. Other people's stuff: We have numerous items that are not even ours that were delivered to us.... Read more

I picked Oasis Moving and Storage because of the great reviews I read on line.. nothing would lead me to believe there would be any problems with this company. I am here to tell you BUYER BEWARE. I contacted the company and spoke with Holly who quoted us a very approximate moving figure of $1600. She said she would come out to our home and give us a more accurate estimate. The quote after the home visit was$1800 and some change. Perfect! We agreed to do business with them. An elevator charge was added, fee for the company to do some packing added and lastly Holly waived the "distance fee" the movers had to walk as I explained the elevator was accross from our doorway. The problems began after this.... and as I was told by the company, I should have read my contract more thoroughly "BUYER BEWARE". The movers got there promptly packed our items and then gave me a fee of $2900!!!! Seriously more than what we had ever agreed to. Had I not fought and argued for three days with se... Read more

I have to let Oasis Moving home office know how "far and beyond" ,the call of duty, your office in Phoenix went out for us. Here is my story: We had our things packed and picked up on Weds. the 13th of May by Oasis of Phoenix. My son Thomas, whom is transferring to North Carolina, will be flying to Germany this Tuesday the 19th of May. Today, Monday the 18th, we realized he did not have his American passport to travel to Germany on the 19th of May, the next day. Flights booked, internship ready in Berlin; we had a problem, a BIG problem. We called and talked to dispatch at the local office and Ben Koren not only dug through Thomas things to find his passport but drove down to the local Fedex office to have the passport mailed overnight. We want everyone to know how much we appreciate all that Ben Koren did for us. Please let them know. Thanks to you; Ben Koren and Oasis, Thomas will be on his 5:00pm flight to Germany. Sincerely Kim Petersen

They do a good job of pressuring customers into signing away any reasonable protection and they are not willing to address their failings in a responsible manner. They low-ball packing and weight estimates then put the squeeze on customers once they have your goods in their position. I wonder what percentage of their customer pay their estimate or less? A very low percentage I bet. I won't go so far as to call them out-and-out crooks, but do some googling and find some reviews on these guys that is not "salted" by there own employees. Remember if they get you to sign then you are the fool!! I know I feel like a fool.

I used Oasis Moving and Storage and was very happy. They quoted one of the lowest prices, they were on time, and they did what they said they were going to do. It looks like some other people didn't have great experiences with Oasis, but a big company like that does a lot of moves is bound to have a few troublesome customers. Those tend to be the ones that speak out so I thought I would put my 2 cents in. They gave me a great price and I was very happy.

My sister is moving to Oregon and her furniture was picked up on 3/23 with a 7-10 business day lead time for delivery. We were told it loaded last friday, 4/3 and we would receive a call on sunday 4/5 to inform us of the delivery on either monday/tuesday. We had to call them on sunday because we didnt get a call from anyone only to find out it had not loaded. We again were told it was loading on sunday and would get it either monday/tuesday. Tuesday was the 10th day and final day for delivery. On monday we decided to call and see if it really loaded and of course it had not. At this time we asked to speak to a supervisor and she assured us it was loaded but the truck had mechanical problems, which is understandable. She said it would be here on thursday, now 2 days past the guaranteeed delivery date. Wednesday we call only to find out that the truck is now headed to Colorado! This is the worst customer service ever. We will never recommend anyone to use Oasis and we will be f... Read more

These people ripped me off. They quoted one thing then charged double the amount (over $6K) to move us from Las Vegas to New Orleans. They packed my husband's medication, which was in a bag in a location I told them not to pack anything! They were supposed to deliver right away, but it was over the promised two weeks and he had to be without his medication that whole time. The bosses, etc. are a bunch of liars and thieves! The movers that delivered our stuff were rude and lazy! I was charged for stairs inside our apartment despite promises and paperwork to the contrary! As if that wasn't enough, the packing they overcharged for was not done well so we had many broken items. I've moved across the US multiple times as well as overseas and never had a move like this. I would never ever recommend these people to anyone other than possibly my worst enemy! Somehow they've duped some people into thinking their service is good and I saw on their website that they do work for Extreme ... Read more

Few months back i moved from Las vegas to Reno with the help of oasis moving. moving is really painful experience (specially in case of long distance) but if you have hired a good mover then it helps you to reduce some burden. Oasis moving did the same for me, their service is really pro. it was my husband's decision to hire them as its a famous mover in Las vegas. also their estimate was affordable than other movers, and if i talk about their service, it was professional in all terms.Well trained team, quick and friendly. finally at the end of the day you will get true value of your money from Oasis moving

I recently moved to Florida from Arizona about a month ago. It was my first experience doing it on my own. I want to give praise to Ty Pierce as he was extremely helpful and professional every time I called him. When I moved to Florida and the movers set up the furniture, one of them notcied and pointed out that the headboard was chipped and in pieces in the corner. I understand things happen and was not too upset about it since things do happen. I was talking to Andrea Orellana who was also extremely helpful and professional about helping me with this matter. I would recommend Oasis Moving to anyone. Respectfully, Vito Ferrera

I used Oasis Moving and Storage for my move to Las Vegas and had a good experience with those guys. The delivery was super fast (They arrived in Las Vegas in just a little over a week), And the movers were very careful with my furniture. I have moved several times at the past so I was expecting some damages but all got here in one piece. Also everyone was very polite and helpful so I would like to pass that on to everyone who Is looking for a good moving company.

Because of my husband's recent deployment to Iraq, we decided it best that I relocate back to Maryland from Arizona to take back my old job. I chose Oasis as our mover...and NEVER WILL AGAIN. Our move was set to take place on either 9/27 or 2/28. When you set up the move, you're given a 2-day window for the truck to show up. First problem: moving insurance. Since we hadn't purchased it at least 48 hours before the move due to circumstances beyond our control, we spoke to Nina at Oasis (no longer with the company) and she said we could still purchase it, just from a different company than what Oasis normally recommends. She emailed us the paperwork which we were supposed to fill out and fax back to her. It turned out to be the wrong paperwork. My husband called the insurance company directly and they emailed us the correct paperwork, told us to fill it out and fax it back to them, which we did Wednesday afternoon the 26th. Second problem: we were supposed to receive a phonec... Read more

Avoid Oasis Moving and Storage at all costs. While they are cheaper than most moving companies, you get what you pay for. They were 3 weeks late, rude, and broke a good number of items. There are much better moving companies out there... keep looking!

My complaint involves a moving company that has no respect for its customers and is able to treat people as poorly as they feel with no consequence. The fact that over a $1000.00 worth of damage was caused in a recent move was secondary to the fact that this company has a record of shouting at a customer, hanging up on them and accepting no responsibility for the headache caused due to a lack of organization and poor management on their part. The worst part is that notifying organizations like the Betr Bus Bur and American Moving and Storage Association does no good. The moving company clearly does not care who complains about them and sees no reason to contact the client to rectify the problem. Once they have got your money you are long forgotten. AMSA, on the other hand, only wants to get involved if you are prepared to seek arbitration and they can make a buck of their own. At the end of the day it is the consumer that suffers with no hope of justice. Watch out for this company ... Read more

I contacted Oasis after my contacted mover flaked out on me, leaving me stranded in Utah and having to report to my new job in less that 14 days. The agent was very helpful and in one day put an amazing moving package together for me. The crew was very nice and worked hard to get the house packed and van loaded in the two days they allotted. They delivered my furniture in Montana a day early and even before we have let Utah (we still had a few dogs and cats to load and move). The weight estimate was right on, actually a few hundred pounds less and the packing materials did run a little more so it all evened out from the original estimate. So far everything we have unpacked was fine with no damage. I have only two small complaints. Even though I asked them to be careful there where two long but shallow scratches in my hardwood floors. Fortunately they polished out fine. Second, none of the boxes were identified as to the contents or the room they came from. My wife and I feel like we a... Read more

DO NOT USE OASIS Moving & Storage if you want: 1. ALL of your belongings to arrive 2. to pay the BINDING estimate/quote 3. to receive UNDAMAGED furniture I was given a binding estimate which means that the price you were quoted is what you pay. I received a call from a different rep, after my load was picked up (early a.m.), and told that the amount owed upon delivery was hundreds more than my set price. This was over and beyond the additional charges for extra packing and crating that I expected. I explained to the rep of my binding estimate and he immediately became rude, obnoxious and accused me of not wanting to pay. I told him that I had no problem paying, I just have a problem paying an inflated amount. I was livid but agreed to pay because he gave me the impression that he wouldn't deliver if I didn't agree to pay. DO THEY WAIT UNTIL THEY GET ALL OF YOUR STUFF ON THEIR TRUCK AND BAMBOOZLE YOU INTO PAYING MUCH MUCH MORE....OR ELSE? Once they arrived (the next day or so); the ne... Read more

This company does not care about customers, only getting paid. I was given a low estimate that doubled when the driver arrived. They arrived at 9 Pm, 4 hours late. They didn't finish until 2 AM. The driver compained the whole time about being late to their next pick up and that I was not accurate in my inventory. The sales person told me it was better to be under weight because if you are under weight you get charged the estimate, even if the actual weight is lower. Actually they want you under weight because they charge you more per pound for the extra weight. Every person I called on the customer service line acted like they knew nothing about the business. The sales manager was rude and when I told him some of the things the driver said, he said the driver does not know what he is talking about. How can they do business with employees who do not know procedures? I was not given a booklet that was supposed to be given to me by law. The driver had me to sign a sheet saying I got the b... They moved me from LA to Dallas. I had scheduled my move for Sunday March 4th. I received a phone call on Friday at 4 pm asking if we could postpone the move to Tuesday March 8th. I agreed as long as the move took place between 5 to 7 pm. They agreed. Then I received a phone call on Monday asking if they could be there at 10am. I said no. Tuesday comes and they arrived FIVE hours late on pick up. From what was originally planned for 5pm turned into 10 pm. They didn?t leave my apartment building until 1:30AM! That is absolutely unacceptable especially when you have neighbors. I had noted on all my paperwork to deliver my stuff after Tuesday 13th . They called me the next day and said "good news it will be there on Sunday 3/11". Not good news- did you read my paperwork? They did deliver it later that week. The driver ran over grass and ran into a pole on my new property- now causing my property management company to have to make a claim on their insurance. The movers brought up m... Read more
