Great looking. Also: a complete bimbo with no acting talent whatsoever. Completely unbelievable as a KGB agent, though not as miscast as some of the other Bond Girls.

I found this movie incredibly boring and she did not contribute or make it worse. She was just overrated and mediocre.

You just can't beat that Russian accent

Perhaps it is my usual preference for brunettes or that The Spy Who Loved Me (1977) is one of my favorite films in the Bond series; for whatever reason, Barbara Bach remains one of my favorite Bond Girls. Barbara was not only sexy and exotic (she played Russian agent XXX), but she was also a match for 007 and a love interest who was integral to the plot (ie she was not mere window dressing). The fact that Ringo Starr married Barbara gives all men some hope of reaching beyond their actual grasp. Barbara Bach was born in New York City on August 27, 1947.
