    This winter has been very trying, but thanks to Gillece, we are safe and warm. Our power went out last Friday with the big snow. We were without power until Monday, and when the power did come back on, the furnace crapped out!!! After days without heat or electricity it was very disappointing to still have no furnace. Gillece to the rescue!! Called for service at 8 PM requesting service. Techncian John showed up around 10:30 and rescued us. I didn't realize until after he had the heat back on that his truck was parked on the next street behind our house, about a 1/4 of a mile away. I would like to highly recommend this company and the heroic efforts of their employees like John that went above and beyond to help us in our time of need. I am a customer for life!!

    Called Gillece after horrible backup this morning when our sump-pump stopped working due to all of the rain yesterday. They set me up for a morning appointment in a four hour window. I waited until 11:00 and then they called and saifd they were running behind and could I reschedule or wait it out a little longer. I agreed to wait and by 1:00 they had a very friendly young man arrive and go straight to work. Very efficient and cleared up the problem in no time. Turns out the pump was just clogged and after he jiggled the pipe coming out of the pit the pump kicked on and immediately began pumping out the basement.. He wasn't even going to charge the $99 fee because he said that he didn't have to use his machine, but I paid him anyhow (And now I know what to do the next time this happens). Only gave them four stars because they didn't show up on time but were still ther the same day according to their guarantee.

    I hired Sears to install my washer/dryer and their employees seem to have done something incorrectly because shortly afterwards, the Kohler body spray faucets in my shower started malfunctioning. I called at least 4 plumbers in the phone book until I gave up and took my search online. I called several plumbers listed there too and nobody even knew what I was talking about until I called Gillece. The guy they sent out has got to be one of the most knowledgeable plumbers I've ever met. Not only did he pinpoint the exact problem as soon as he saw my faucets, he was professional enough to get the job done the same day, and without much ado, and for very little money.

    We have done business with many other heating and air conditioning companies over the years and were never really quite happy until we contacted Gillece plumbing and heating. They are always very prompt, friendly and extremely professional and their techs are absolutley the best in the business. Our favorite tech is Albert, he is very smart and always finds the problem and makes it right the first time. My advice is to forget the rest and call the best! Gillece plumbing and heating.‎

    Gillece sent man out to diagnose problem for mobile home on 6-29-09. Clogged outside drain was found. Estimate given to my 83 year old mother was $8000.00. 1. Drain is on rental property and not owner's responsibility. 2. Job was done days later for cost of $1500.00. Is this a trustworthy company? Estimate cost was refunded only after numerous calls, including to local representative. Extensive advertising does not mean quality service!

    I called Gillece on a Sunday afternoon. It was my daughter’s 7th B-Day and our whole house was stopped up and the main bathroom was overflowing. I was in a panic with a whole house full of moms and kids. I called at least 10 other companies with no answer or answering services taking messages. One of the moms suggested that I “Call Gillece” and to my surprise, the office was staffed just like it was a regular weekday. The dispatcher assured me he would have a plumber out within an hour. Steve from Gillece showed up at our door within 30 minutes and gave us what he called “temporary relief” but what I call savior. Only charged $99 for the service. First thing Monday morning, they came back and hooked us up with a permanent fix for the problem. Will definitely call again if we have problems and recommend highly.

    Gillece lived up to their same day or free guarantee. We had another contractor remove 5 of our radiators over the summer to do some remodeling with new baseboards, flooring, etc. When it came time for them to reinstall them, they said that they didn't do that kind of work, and that the boiler would need to be bled and that we should call a plumber to reinstall them. We put it off all summer, and when it started to get cold over the last week, we decided to call Gillece to get the radiators reinstalled. The bad news was that they called us two times to reschedule us because they were busy and they said that they had a couple guys out with the flu. The good news is that when they finally came out to do the work, THEY DID IT FOR FREE! Absolutely zero dollars out of my pocket. They were professional in performing the work, and did the work with the same care that I would have expected if I were paying full price for the work.     Great customer service, very funny guys, easy to work with.... They told me the exact problem and showed me what to do and what not to do. *Note to self: Never use Drain-O. It's bad for the drains....eats away at everything, INCLUDING the pipes, leading to larger problems and ultimately more money.* Why didn't I give them 5 stars, you ask? Well, this is the first time I've had to call a plumber, so I don't know what constitutes as a 5-star rating. Plus, they left a little mess for me to clean up. Nothing a bath towel or a Sham-WOW couldn't do though!

    I was called at work by my mother telling me that she had a plumber at her home telling her that she needed a new water heater. My mother and father are in their eighties and have been making some very "questionable" financial decisions recently. I was very relieved (and quite frankly stunned) that they called me to tell me that they were considering buying a lifetime warranted water heater from Gillece and that the plumber in their home actually suggested that they call me to make sure that they were making a good decision. Needless to say, they did not need a lifetime warranty on anything, but I was very impressed with the fact that the plumber recognized that my Mom and Dad were not at their best when it came to financial decisions and suggested to them that they include me in the decision.     I had some plumbing problems that were easily diagnosed and fixed on the first call. Technician looked at all my plumbing and gave me a time table for bringing up my 50 year old home up to speed. There was no pressure, just helpful advice. I plan on using them gain for furnace service.

    Needed more than just an average plumber for a very difficult problem. Had six different plumbers out to my house over the last two years. Gillece was the first to send a true expert out that solved my problem with noises in the walls when I ran the water. I wish I had all the money back that I spent with all the other plumbers.     I am so impressed with this company. Called on Friday night around 11 pm with a problem with my air conditioner. Told answering service what was wrong and within ten minutes I was called back by the repairman. I told him that I could wait until the morning so that I didn't have to pay the extra after hours fee but I wanted to be first on the list in the morning. Sure enough - 7:05 the next morning I got a call from their dispatcher that the technician was on his way and would be there within a half hour. I did spend a little over $500 for the service but I feel confident that the problem is solved.

    My 10 year old furnace and air conditioner needed to have its annual checkup performed. We have been calling the same man that installed the furnace for regular maintenance every year faithfully. He regretfully informed me this year that due to the tough economy, he had to close his business. He recommended that I call Gillece because they were the only company in town that he knew would deliver the same quality of service that he had always provided. I saw there TV ad saying that they would do the tuneup for 19.95 plus a food donation and took them up on it. I was amazed at their prompt service - the truck pulled up in front of my house at 7:57 for an 8 AM appointment. Just being on time doesn't mean that much if the person that shows up doesn't know what he is doing, but the service technician that showed up was so knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and honest that I signed up for a multiple year service agreement on my furnace and AC.
