This place is just what Addison needed. When you are in the mood for a casual, fun atmosphere, great food and fast, courteous service, go to Desi Wok. The buffet is fantastic and a great value at 7.95. These people know how to cook the food the way your mom would cook it if she were about to host a party! For my wife and I (since we have no family in this state) eating here is like tasting a little bit of home.

Whether you are looking for the most amazing Indian lunch buffet or just the best Indian food available in Dallas, LOOK NO FURTHER! The food at Desi Wok is by far better than any Indian food I have had in a long time. The Naan bread is always freshly cooked, even if you do the buffet they will bring you fresh bread to your table!!!!! Also, Desi Wok won't strain your wallet like other Indian restaurants, I eat dinner there for less than 10 bucks with drink all the time and the buffet costs about 10 even with drink but either way you NEVER LEAVE HUNGRY. A+ Service A+ People A+ Price 5 Stars

I went to Desi for the first time not long after they opened, looking for something besides the tired old things on the strip in Addison. I found it in Desi. That night, unfortunately, I only had time to get an order of Blazing Noodles to go. Today, I made it a point to go back there for lunch when I would have more time to spend and sit down to eat. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw that they had added a buffet. This allowed me to try several things I had never had before. I love indian food, but it tends to be a bit pricey. Spending all of $7.95 on a great buffet, I had some of the most delicious food I have had in a long time. With the addition of the Tandoori Chicken and Naan being brought to my table fresh and hot, this trip could not have been any better....oh wait...yes it could...I came back 3 hours later and grabbed another plate to go! Now, being born and bred in TX, I am used to seeing beef, chicken, and pork on the menu. Today I had a chance to taste the goat on the bu... Read more

I live by Desi Wok - i started eating there after their grand opening. One would think this might be a fastfoood Indian establishment (from the afforable prices) ...bit its NOT - ive tried all the Indian restaurants in Dallas, and this place certainly stacks with the best of them. THeir Tikki Marsala is fantastic ...They just started a lunch buffet which gives you an array of dishes to choose from. They keep an eye out to ensure each container is consistently replenished and warm. Ive been to many a a Indian restaurants that let their buffet deplete down to dwindles while the food gets cold. One of the perks of Desi Wok is the owner truly cares about your experience and even walks around to fill up your bread basket, etcc...There are too many places where the owner could care less as long as you PAY on the way out the door. Be sure to check this place out - Good food, VERY affordable prices....

I live close by Desi Wok. I went and tried it several times. Very casual and modern decoration and colors. I liked that you get the rich flavor of Indian cuisine with affordable prices. They have a 7.95 lunch buffet that has small portions and they fill it up regularly to keep the food from becoming dry or stale. I like the chicken Tikka Masala and Blazing noodles. The owner is friendly and welcomes any suggestions that might enhance your experience when you visit Desi Wok.

Very good authentic Indian food. Excellent curry. One of the best casual Indian food in the metroplex. Very attractive prices. No item is more than 6.99.....Good value for money. Better than Masala-Wok. Very good Bombay style Chinese.

I've been going here since this place opened i live nearby so its convenient. So far the food has been good and the portions are generous, its custom made to your spice level. The food gets cooked quickly and is always fresh (that's more then i can say for alot of desi joints in Dallas). The pricing is reasonable around $7 to 8 bucks a dish. It's not fine dining but the food competes well with other restaurants in its class. All in all its good for a quick lunch or dinner and well worth the money spent. I recommend the fried rice, chicken tikka masala and blazing noodles.

It is usually tiring to wait 20-30 min when you go to an indian place for your food that you spend around 12 or 13 dollars to get. It was really heartening to see Desi Wok open on Beltline/Monfort in Addison. Here you get you food in a jiffy and plus the items are not overpriced at all. I have been going to desi wok ever since it opened and have had most of the items on its menu. The food is absolutely priceless. I just love the blazing chicken noodles, the lamb biriyani and the saag chicken, that they serve over there. Having friendly staff that treats you like more than a customer is just icing on the cake. Its hard to imagine another Indian restaurant where you find the same quality of high service as well as the quality of the food to be the same. I would recommend Desi Wok to any of my friends any day.

I tried this place for the first time and was very surprised. I ordered my usual Chicken Tikka Masala and it was just for $6.99 and with that I was given rice and bread complimentary. Excellent taste and very good portion. My wife tried Chicken Biryani, Hot n Sour Soup with Mango Lassi......Very good food..... Reasonable price, good portion, excellent food and service.

Desi Wok is the perfect place to pick up Indian food in Addison. They are located right next to the Chipotle at Montfort and Beltline Road. My wife and I had noticed this place when it first opened and tried it one night. We were completely amazed by the food. I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala that was perfect... very generous portion of food with a great sauce. They cook to your direction and taste for the amount of spice you prefer. Everything is prepared immediately when you order; therefore, the food is piping hot when presented. My wife loved the Chicken Biryani. Overall, the location is extemely convenient to access, the food is incredible (great portions at reasonable prices [range of $6-8 each dish], and the service is fast and friendly. I highly recommend trying this place for either lunch or dinner!
