When I learned I was pregnant, I did not have the reaction that other women - who are ready and in a good, stable place to raise a child - experience. I was an emotional wreck, and when a friend said she had seen the Early Options Web site and encouraged me to make an appointment, I had no idea just how caring and exceptional the staff would be. They made a seemingly unbearable situation as tolerable as it could be, and I know I wouldn't have had the same experience had I gone to a busy clinic. From the moment I arrived, I felt at ease; the waiting room is very calming and tranquil - it's almost like being in a spa lounge. Although I did spend a good amount of time in the office from start to finish (about 1.5 hours), I was so relieved by how quickly the procedure went, and how the staff put me at ease. I knew I made the right choice, and even though I ended up spending money out of pocket, I wouldn't have gone anywhere else. Thank you for taking such good care of me during one of the ... Read more

The expirience I had at this office was so amazing as soon as I walked into the door I was greeted with a smile and offered cookies and granola bars where else does this happen? No where! After waiting no more than 5 minutes I was brought inside and the physicians assistant was so nice, so caring she made me feel so comfortable and to make the long story short this office really is trying to make a difference in the way u handle an abortion they coach you through the whole process. Hands down this office and its entire FEMALE staff have won my heart and I give them 10 stars. If you are concidering early options don't think twice this is the place to go they are the best at what they do I promise.

I never thought I would be in this situation but I was. I was very scared because I didn't know what to do. I had gone to planned parenthood but it was very crowed and the wait was long. I knew I have to turn to another place for help. I did some online research and I found early options. They were very nice and patient with me over the phone. When I arrived for the appointment, they asked to to come back later because there was a slight delay. I didn't understand why they didn't let me stay in the waiting room with many others. Then I realize it wasn't good for me emotionally to sit there with so many other people and it was good for me to get some fresh air. The staff called me as soon as they are ready. I went back immediately. I had to go to the appointment by myself because my partner did not want to be involved. It was very difficult for me to do this by myself. The staff made sure I was feeling fine as soon as I stepped in. They explained everything to me as we were doing so... Read more

When I found out I was pregnant I was scared. I didn't know where to turn. I didn't have anyone that I could turn to. I was afraid to tell anyone. My boyfriend abandoned me once I told him I was pregnant. He said he didn't want any part of the situation. I searched online and found Early Options. I read every page of their website and saw that they had a procedure that I never saw before. A Aspiration abortion. Once I read the details of what it was, I decided that's the way I wanted to go. I called the office and the lady on the phone was so pleasent. She made me feel so safe and secure. The lady set me up for my appointment. The day I went in for my appointment was scary. I didn't have anyone to go with me. Everyone in the office was so loving and caring. The assistant stayed with me the entire time. When the doctor came in to actually preform the procedure, the assistant offered to hold my hand and explained every step to me. They offered me so much information. Things that I neve... Read more

i had originally gone to a planned parenthood and was overwhelmed by the chaotic waiting room and abrupt manner of the receptionist on the phone. i happened to call early options next, and it was a world of difference. the receptionist was very kind and very calmly told me about their office. it sounded like i would be taken care of, and in my anxious state that's exactly what i needed, so i made an appointment and they had availability just 2 days after i called. i am a graduate student so i qualified for their student discount. on the day of the appointment my boyfriend and i arrived and waited in the waiting room for a few minutes. after taking the pregnancy test we waited more, perhaps half an hour past our appointment time. we were led inside a comfortable room (did not look like a cold, unwelcome hospital room) where one of the staff brought me tea before the doctor came in and talked me through everything. she made sure i understood everything and answered all my questio... I live in Boston and there I went to planned parenthood and was rejected because I have asthma, and boston medical center wanted to charge 4000 for the procedure. Then I did a google search and found this place. I was so very scared I had no idea how I would get through an abortion. When I went in the nurses were very reasuring and caring. The doctor and nurse during the procedure talked me through everything. I feel so relieved and happy and am looking forward to continuing my life. Thank you for everything. This was a positive experience and made me feel that I can take charge of my situation. I would recommend this place over and over again. A million thank yous.

Nobody wants to be in this situation, but if you've made the difficult decision to terminate, Early Options is the place to go. The staff is compassionate, intelligent, and very fast. My partner and I were in and out in less than 2 hours and the procedure itself lasted about 5 minutes. The sensation is very much like intense menstrual cramping. It wasn't comfortable, but it definitely wasn't painful. My partner was able to stay with me throughout the entire process and the staff was happy to answer all of my questions and offer birth control samples/renew my prescription (a lapsed prescription is what got me in this predicament in the first place). I had the procedure this morning and within minutes I felt 100% like my old self. I can't recommend EO enough--this was the right decision for me and I feel like I have my life back.

Thank you Early Options for making this experience less traumatic. I was so afraid but since I entered the door, they welcomed me with professionalism and warmth. Very private, all women employees. They explain everything and let you ask all the questions you may have and give you great answers. Practical and approachable. I did the aspiration and it was not so uncomfortable. They allow you to recover. I recommend this place highly. Remember it is your body and it is your choice.

I never thought I would ever be in this situation, but as it may, I was. I wasn't ready to be a mother and needed another option. Early Options made the best out of a horrible situation and the procedure (aspiration) was over before I even realized it began. They say most women feel cramping and pressure, but the only thing I felt was the heating pad on my abdomen and my partner holding my hand. The staff was very warm and explained everything in great detail. I am very thankful that this non-surgical procedure was even an option and all I had to take was Ibuprofen and a precautionary antibiotic to prevent infection. I highly recommend this office.

Nobody ever wants to do this type of thing...but it happened to me. After a lot of research and after a detailed phone call to Early Options, I felt very comfortable going to them right off the bat. On my way there I was very nervous and worried about being judged, but this was not the case. I thought they would treat me like 'just another patient', but they actually sit down and talk to you for as long as you need until you are 100% comfortable. I was truly amazed. The caring and compassion that they provide is unprecedented! They are knowledgable and I had my complete trust in them. They literally held my hand each step of the way and comforted me. I honestly don't know why anyone would have any doubts about going there...I guarantee you will be pleasantly surprised.

I've been looking on the net all night at the reviews for this place....there's some on yelp, kudzu, something call insiderpages and a few more....Oddly some of the reviews are repeated. For example, a review on citysearch is identical to a review on yelp etc..word for word. This is bad, because this place may be great, but because of their attempt to encourage and entice customers with great reviews, I'm scared to even give them a chance!

Fast totally safe and the service is awesome!!!! I have had two surgical terminations and I felt like complete crap afterwards, two very horrible experiences. But here it was a pleasant given the situation, I felt like I was in very capable hands. I would suggest this for any and everyone who needs an early termination. I know your probably thinking I don't believe it but really it was absolutely great service and way better than a regular abortion the pain is so much more tolerable.

My husband and I really wanted a baby and we had the miracle and joy of getting pregnant on our first try. However, it was not meant to be as our little angel passed away when I had a miscarriage early in my first trimester. We were devastated. My OBGYN wanted me to have a D&C but I knew this was an invasive procedure that could compromise my future fertility. Even she advised me of all the risks. I knew then that it was not for me. So I searched for a much more gentle, holistic option. Surely, there was a better method than one involving sharp scraping and complications like uterine scarring and perforation! I found that blessing in Early Options. My body did not respond to the medication that was supposed to induce the miscarriage and the baby had already passed away naturally a week before. So I needed help in passing the tissue and avoiding an infection. From the moment I called, I knew I had found the right place. The office managers D and B (you ladies know who you ... Read more

From the minute my boyfriend and I walked in we were made to feel comfortable and everyone was very friendly, kind, considerate and caring. They let us take our time and gave us many oppurtunities to ask any questions we had. I found Early Options because a friend had used them and she said that it was great. The aspiration procedure was uncomfortable, yes, but not nearly as bad as I had expected. I am and very very squeemish around doctors, needles and getting undressed in front of people. The atmosphere here made me instantly relax. The skeptics on here really don't know what they are talking about, although Early Options seems too good to be true, it is really the only way to go.

I was extremely nervous and optomistic with just the thought of having to do this but from the very start when i called the woman answered all of my questions. A week later arriving at the office the nurse who took care of me new i was nervous and tried to distract me which was a great thing. She explained everything to me and gave me plenty of time to ask questions. The doctor did exactly the same and it was great to meet the doctor before it took place. She as well explained to me what would be going on and gave me an opportunity to ask questions. During the procedure both the doctor and the nurse had regular conversation with me and tried to keep my mind off what was going on. It was quite uncomfortable but not painful. It went very quick and i was back to normal in about 10 min. I was shocked as to how well i was so soon after. The best thing is i was able to have a friend with me the entire time, which of course was comforting. I would recommend this to any one who was thinking o... Read more

This clinic has made this expierence as easy as it possibly can be. Upon entering the discreet location, you are greeted with smiling faces and friendly women who make the entire process seamless from start to finish. As a first time patient, I had many questions and concerns and they were prepared and helpful in answering everything. I was nervous and scared, but was quickly put to ease. They even allowed my partner in the room with me to hold my hand. The actual procedure was less than 5 mins with little to no cramping. I highly recommend Early Options, I have no regrets in visiting this facility.

Its run by women and the staff is entirely women - very very patient and kind and gentle women who strive to make the experience comforting and seek to ease the anxiety their patients may feel. They achieve this through their professional stafff and office space design as well. This is not a clinic but rather a very private doctor's office setting. I went through 100% process with my girlfriend - was at her side the whole way and the staff encouraged it, as long as we were both comfortable. Highly recommended.

There are not enough words to begin to describe this experience. The wonderful staff that is not only extremely knowlegable and patient, but the fact that they are truly dedicated to each of their patients is indescribable. No one ever imagines they may be in the position of having to go through such a trying ordeal, but Early Options makes a seemingly devastating situation managable. The minute you pick up the phone to make the consultation and appointment, you are greeted with great care and kindness. When you arrive in person to the minute it is all over, the entire staff is understanding, professional, kind, and make you feel as comfortable (emotionally and physically) as possible. I had done a lot of research before deciding to come to Early Options and am forever greatful for how they handle their jobs. I was so nervous that i was going to be in alot of pain, but let me tell you , the doctors give you pain meds and go so easy on you that all you feel during the procedure is like someone tugging on your uterus . weird feeling , but no pain. the nurse also talks to you the whole time n distracts you from whats going on. the whole thing lasted about 3 or 4 mins. but it went by soso fast. of course the experience itself would never be something great. but they make it as easy as possible n ease your worries. i would highlyyyyyy recommend easy options to anyone in the position i was in.

I normally do not write my experiences but in this occassion I had to state my opinion. When i first got here i was scared because i never heard of a non surgical, and i was really thinking twice about doing this. But a child right at this moment would be very difficult for me, so i made up my mind. Everything that they said was informing confidential and true. Its a very quick procedure that's just like your normal pap smear. You rarely feel a thing! The nurse and the doctor give you as much information as need and you feel very comfortable and relaxed. They are awesome. If you have any doubt about abortions and you think its gonna be this BIG surgical procedure , think again and come here, they would have you feeling comfortable. I walked outta here in NO PAIN!

When I first came to early options, I was a bit nervous but the receptionist was very polite and friendly, which helped break the ice. The surroundings were as mentioned on the website...very small and private. The nurse who took care of me was also very friendly and informative. She made me feel very comfortable likewise the doctor. The aspiration procedure was very quick...4 1/2 mins to be exact with minimal pain which subsided after a few minutes of having it done. The nurse was there for support and she held a conversation with you through it all. There is nothing bad that I can say about the staff and the care that they provide you with. It is totally comforting and reassuring. I will recommend Early Options to anyone. Thanks again for all you have done in this difficult time.

I have experience in the medical field and have seen many clinics that perform similar procedures. By far, this clilnic is the best that I have come accross. The staff is very professional and very friendly. They go out of their way to make you feel as comfortable as possible. In addition to taking the time to provide information and answer any questions, they make the procedure itself as easy as possible and are very supportive. They welcome a partner, spouse, or friend to stay with you through the entire process, which many other clinics do not allow. This is a small clinic that shows that they really care---unlike many of the other options out there. This clinic is worth every penny and then some! What could have been horrible experience was surprisingly pleasant.

In an extremely difficult and emotional time, I was blessed to have come across this all-woman clinic. Though a little more expensive then your average price quote, the price includes all of the medical tests (sonogram, medication, procedure etc) which I don't believe most doctors offices include. It was extremely professional, kind and easy considering the circumstances most are faced in this situation. You are thoroughly prepped and give plenty of time to ask questions and address concerns. The actual procedure (aspiration) is a really great option and it extremely manageable in terms of pain and discomfort. I was there a total of 1 hour. It was well worth every penny and I have nothing negative to say about the experience, which I doubt many others can say. Bring a friend or partner for support. Though some people don't feel the need to rest after, I did. I took the whole day to rest, relax and recover. Highly recommended. PS - after reading some of the suspicions re: fake posting... The aspiration procedure is the best out there. I would highly recommend it to any woman that is 11 weeks pregnant or less. It's quick, simple, no sharp tools and it only takes 3-4 minutes. I was able to have my boyfriend with me while talking to the doctor and during the procedure. That made both of us feel better about the whole situation. Even after the procedure was over, the staff gave me plenty of time to rest until I was ready to leave. They didn't rush me out the door like some places would. That meant so much to me. I am the medical director and owner of Early Options. I wanted to respond to the one star reviews written by people who have never been to our office. They plant the idea of suspicion that our reviews are fraudulant. This has now motivated our patients to write 4 star reviews instead of 5, because they think people will not believe them. I felt that I needed to respond. The women and their partners who write these reviews are real people. We have never, and would never fraudulantly write comments on behalf of our patients. In fact it would be impossible, since we would need to generate an email address for each comment. Our patients are motivated to tell others about their experience at Early Options, because they can't believe how simple it can be to end an early pregnancy. I was first exposed to abortions as a doctor in 1995, as a 3rd year resident. I went to be trained at a "reputable" clinic, where I saw women being treated disrespectfully, women being put in rooms with... Read more

I cant begin to explain how happy i am that i went to early options. From the minute i walked in to the minute i walked out i was treated with the best care any one can ask for. The doctor was so nice and explained to me and my boyfriend everything. She kept telling me that it is nothing like the abortion pill. (I had done the pill before and i was in horrible pain for hours and hours). She told me that the procedure cant even compare to the pill. After we talked about the procedure she then discussed birth control options with me. After that I went into another room where the nurse took my vitals and gave me some pain medicine. The nurse was beyond nice. She was the same nurse that came in the room with me during the procedure. She offered me juice and something to eat if I wanted. Once it was time for me to go in the procedure room I got very nervous. I kept thinking it was going to be this painful horrible procedure. IT WAS NOTHING LIKE THAT ALL. I am a woman, like many, who never thought I would have to make this choice. I called Early Options and staff member Heather talked with me like a friend, in a caring way. I had so many questions and feelings, I called 3 times in one hour. Each time, Heather listened with care and answered my questions professionally. A week later I walked into the Early Option's waiting room and thought I was in the wrong place because it did not seem like a doctor's office, it seemed like the lobby of a spa. This soothing waiting room is what I needed as I entered with nervous feelings. The Staff was welcoming and their kindness eased my nerves. I waited just a few minutes before I was seen. I was not comfortable being a patient because I had not had a doctor's visit since I was 3 years old. The Early Options Doctor took her time with me and was understanding of my fears and nervousness. I live in the Midwest and refuse to go to any clinics where I could be harassed by protestors and have a photograph taken of myself or license plate only to show up on anti-abortion web sites. If you are not privileged enough (or insured) then you will have a difficult time finding a family medicine doc to perform this type of service for you. Those docs do not like to think of themselves as offering abortion services, so they are only offered to patients that they can trust to keep the procedure confidential so as not to taint the reputation of the medical facility or physician. I no longer have insurance since I lost my finance position a little over a year ago, but I refuse to go to a clinic and be treated like livestock. You can tell by the photos of the facilities and by the telephone etiquette the type of service you likely will receive at a clinic. I called First Options three times in two days and each person I spoke with treated me with respect and was patient answering all of... Read more

I too would give Early Options a 5 and would highly recommend it to others, but I want people to read this and thought it's more likely if I give it a 4 rating. We did a LOT of research on seeking an abortion and while Early Options was more expensive ($600 vs. $400 or even less at the clinics), we're so happy we chose it. This is an awful decision to make, and it's been extremely tough and emotional for both myself (i cried everyday for over a week) and my partner, but for us the timing was off and we decided to terminate. Then came the awful task of finding a place... I didn't trust my OB/GYN enough to call and ask, nor did I want to face any judgement or "advice" from friends, so I went online and did lots of research. I also called a few other places and asked a lot of questions. Planned Parenthood and Dr. Emily are great - on the phone they were really kind and helpful, but I wanted to have my partner there with me and I wanted privacy. I didn't want to sit in a waiting room... Read more

The procedure itself was nothing major. My friend already told me what to expect.. All I felt was some prickling and lil pressure., it took about 10 mins. The Dr and the wonderful assistant were talking to me about movies so i didnt even notice it was done. I did feel a lil drowsy from the anesthesia but thats all. I was able to leave 15 mins after the procedure. I also didnt see any other clients there, unlike the other place that looks for like an ER waiting area. when faced with the most difficult decision of my life the thought of having to go to an assembly line clinic made me even more horrified. thank god for early options....the people, doctors and staff, along with the amazingly calming environment are just amazing and made me most comfortable during one of the most difficult times in my life. please consider early options, you will be more than satisfied. you owe it to your body, mind and spirit!!!

Early Option really deserves five-stars. I'm only giving it four because this way, people will be more likely to read this. Read my post if you, like I was earlier, were having doubts because of the "all-too-perfect" ratings. The person who gave it one-star really had her points. It seems all too suspicious that this place seems to only have five-stars. Many people can judge you, but they have no idea how many emotions you experience. I cried for weeks praying for God to show me what I should do. I live in a very small place where this type of procedure available at Early Options would never be available for me. I thank God for allowing me to find this place. I checked out the Planned Parenthoods in my area. I was scared to... Read more
