United Auto Body is by far the best body shop out there with superior quality and customer service. My car looks better than when it was brand new. Mark is a great honest individual who is humble in his work, but I have to say its the best work I've seen and I have a lot of experience with BodyShops. I recommend United Auto Body to anyone out there, they really take care of their customers.

Mark really helped me out when a car wash damaged my vehicle. He was very honest, supportive of my situation and provided excellent service. The workmanship is great too!

I've taken my car to United Auto Body & Paint more than once and each time I bring my car home, the car looks like brand new. This is a shop that I can highly recommend to anyone, and Mark J. the owner is a business owner who runs his business right and that is why he is able to stay in business for a long time.

I brought my car ('01 Chevy Cavalier) in back in July with a hatch/trunk that wouldn't close because of a problem with the latch. Thanks to GM's legendary "customer last" policy, the part I needed only came as part of a more elaborate part that cost $250.00, which I just didn't have. Rather than tell me there was nothing they could do, Jason gave me the part no., and I did some online research to find it in the aftermarket. Three months later I finally got it, but when I brought it in, even though it was the exact same part no., it was for a more recent model and wouldn't work with my hatch. Once again I expected be let down. But thanks to Gabby, a mechanic who apparently thinks outside the box, Jason told me they could probably use some rivets and industrial-strength glue and fix the part that was already there but had broken, and it would only cost me the same $50.00 that it would've cost to install the new part. Twenty minutes later I was on my way. So twice they could've tol... Read more

I damaged my car door at my underground parking lot at work. I was referred to this traveling shop where they come to you and do the work for dirt cheap. This is the biggest mistake one can make. They ended up making the repair worse. United body had to redo the work. They were very flexible, very reasonably priced and did amazing work. My car looks brand new. Now that's great service. You must take your car there... you feel like you are working with family and they are the best in town!!

I picked Mark and United Auto Body because my insurance company directed me to him for rear collision damage to my bumper. At first, I felt skeptical, given the nature of insurance companies, I thought they would send me to a cut corners-type of company. However, I set an appointment with Mark on Saturday morning, and he was there right on time. From the minute I entered his store, Mark made me feel very comfortable. He was very personable, dressed very professionally, and never talked over my head regarding the insurance process. After we signed the paperwork and got the ball rolling, my wife brought the car in on Tuesday. He helped my wife transfer over our two child carseats (and 2 kids!) to the rental car place and really made the whole process very easy for her. Three days later (earlier than the original estimated time for repair), my wife picked up the car and received a very pleasant surprise. First, he met my wife with our car at the rental store and helped to transf... Read more

I was in a fender-bender a few weeks ago and started looking for body shops by doing a Google search since I'm not originally from San Diego and had no references to go off of. I'm extremely glad that I read all the reviews on this site. I can't imagine that I could have had a better experience getting my car repaired than I had with United Auto Body. Out of the three estimates I was given, United Auto was the most reasonable for a few dents and scratches on my bumper. Not only was the price great, but they were the only ones that did a thorough inspection when giving me an estimate. The others looked at my car for less than a minute, from 10 feet away, and asked for $200-$300 more than United. Even if United had quoted me the same price, I would have still elected to work with them because I was confident in their knowledge and handling of my repairs. When my insurance company got involved, United handled everything. All I needed to do was show up and drop off my car. Couldn't have... Read more

I called United Auto Body after reading the reviews here. After speaking with Mark, I knew immediately that I was calling the right guy to repair damages to my car. I was initially concerned with my insurance company trying to cut costs on the repairs. He assured me that he was in the business to provide ME with excellent service and not my insurance company. He fulfilled his word. When the insurance company attempted to cut costs on my repairs (using low quality products and used parts on my brand new car), Mark went to battle for me and would not allow them to take advantage of my circumstances. In addition, United Auto body did an outstanding job on my car and had the repairs done on the date that was promised!!! You will not go wrong with United Auto Body. I recommend them to anyone in need of auto body work.

I would hands-down recommend United Auto Body every time, based on the terrific service I have consistently received over the past several years. This is one-call customer service at its finest. Simply call Mark or one of the ladies and tell them you need a repair. They walk you step-by-step through the process and save you money wherever possible. My latest repair went through an insurance company, and United Auto Body did everything from arranging for my wrecked car to be towed, to explaining the rental car process and communicating directly with the insurance adjusters. When it was time to pick the vehicle up I was greeted, shown the repairs....they even put on my new license plate and registration tags! I never experience service this great in any industry. The best part is that this easy, friendly experience has been consistent whenever my family members or I have needed repairs. EVERY TIME they exceed my expectations. You will have a similar experience, so these are defi... Read more

My auto insurance recommended Caliber Collision for my repairs. I asked for the recommendation from them so I would know which facilities to avoid as there is a conflict of interest between the insurance company and the auto body repair shops which they may recommend. I picked United Auto Body & Paint because of their professional website and their history of highly rated reviews. The owner of United Auto Body & Paint, Mark Jannesari is extremely honest and personable. He is great about offering you all the different options to go about a repair which can end up saving you a lot of money. He defnately goes out of the way to make sure you're 100% satisfied with the work he does for you. When I brought my SUV for a front fender repair, he touched up the scratches and chips on my rear bumper at no extra charge. The bumper looks great and you can hardly see where the touch ups were done. "Bumper Medic" had previously quoted me $600 to repaint the entire bumper without even offering me t... Read more

Just wanted to let you know that we are very happy with the way my car looks after your repair service. It actually looks better than before because of the great paint job you guys did. Between Farmer's Insurance and your quick turn around, the whole ordeal became a minimal stressful event. I also appreciated the inside tips you gave me on how car rental agencies work. Also, please know that your donation to my daughter's girl scout project was very kind and generous! Thanks again. We can always use an excellent auto body service! I will make sure to recommend you to my friends.

After reading many excellent reviews for United Auto Body, I decided to stop in last Monday for an estimate on several dents and scratches on my car. As soon as I walked in Mark and Suzette treated me like I was their number 1 customer. Mark looked over the damage and recommended the best work at the best possible price. He explained the kind of work they would do and what it would look like when done. I could tell immediately Mark takes his work very seriously and really wants the best for his customers. My car was ready in three days as promised and all I can say is...His prices are really good for the superb work they do!! My car looks really good. I usually don't write reviews for businesses, but this time I had to make an exception. Thank you again to Mark and his crew for the outstanding work and customer service. I will be recommending United Auto Body to everyone at work and my family.

My car was involved in an accident and I was referred to Mark Jannesari at United auto body. I was pleasantly surprised by their customer service and professional quality of work. They delivered the car on time, and the quality of work was excellent. Moreover, when I needed advice on buying a new car, he was so helpful, and gave a lot of useful advice. I highly recommend this shop for quality and customer service. I have had bad experiences with auto body shops, so this was truly like a breath of fresh air!!

SoI after a minor incident in a parking lot, my front bumper was scratched and scuff, and so I googled auto collision places in my area. I stumbled upon a few and decided to go to United Auto Body and Paint because it was pretty close and had good reviews. I had scheduled an appointment but was about 20 minutes late because I had trouble finding the place, but it wasn't a big deal or anything. Mark came and looked at my car and he told me that all I needed was to get it polished and he could have it done right then. And that's what he did, it took him probably less than twenty minutes. I paid a lot less than I was expecting too and it was done quicker than I'd imagine. If I got into another accident *knocks on wood* I would come here again or recommend this place to anyone else I know!

I took my car to United autobody because of the good reviews I read here. That was a big mistake. They didn't work well with my insurance company and delays were caused. Instead of taking responsibility for the delays Mark blamed my insurance company. To make matters worse the insurance company disagreed with the rates by something like $2-3 hour and Mark would not compromise. He told me to file a claim against my insurance company and said he would do the paperwork. He apparantly does this all the time. What a HUGE waste of my time! My car looks good but other body shops could have done the same work with less hassel!

So after going to two Body shops because my convertible top had been ripped apart by someone trying to steal my radio, the first body shop to tell me that I needed an upholstery and not a body shop was United. The other two body shops (Balboa and World Auto Body) were happy to charge me an extra $400 just to drive it over to an upholstery. It didn't matter to me much because either way I was going to pay the $500 deductible what mattered to me was being without a car for a whole week due to these two body shops wanting to make an extra buck to drive it a mile over to an upholstery. If you live in San Diego, you know that not having a car for a week can really be disastrous. United told me in the first 5 minutes that I should go to an Upholstery and recommended JIm's Upholstery who competed the job in the SAME day I brought it in.

I keep all my cars in immaculate condition, you might say I'm a little inane (My wife would anyway). In parking lots I park as far away as I can, so some moron doesn't open their door or run a shopping cart into me. Happened to my wifes brand new $30,000 car, the idiot took off leaving a large dent (Am I silly now honey?). So why am I telling you this? Well it just so happens that my neighbor backed into my car, how you don't see a parked shiny red car in broad daylight I'll never know. Keeping in mind that I am somewhat over protective of my cars (Hey they cost a lot), I was bummed as my car had no dents or scratches and it was fairly new. I had been ripped off in the past by 2 of the SHADY auto body shops in Ramona (Jerry's and Ramona Auto Body - wouldn't back their shoddy workmanship) and wondered, how am I going to find an honest shop. So I got on the internet and came across United Auto Body, read their reviews and although they were 30 miles away, decided to check them out... Read more

So I was in this unfortunate accident this past July where some nut made a left turn right into my car! Luckily after perusing the net I found United Auto Body. Suzette, Mark and the whole team were very professional and helped me through a terrible experience. They handled all the paperwork and gave me back my car even better looking than what it had been! Aside from fixing where my car looked like it got punched in the face... Mark had my car detailed and buffed out extra scratches that were on another part of my car. They made the car look brand new again. Thanks guys for all your hard work. If you want to go somewhere where the service is top notch, fair and the job is done beautifully ... GO HERE! You won't be disappointed!!

I was trying to look up the number to United Auto Body and saw the reviews - I've been meaning to write one since March. I will now be a return customer, as my car was just sideswiped while sitting at a red light. Back in March, United was the fourth place I had gone to get an estimate. When I met Mark, he immediately struck me as a professional business guy who would would be satisfied with an honest day's work, so I chose him. His team did an awesome job painting and refinishing the entire driver's side of my car. When I picked up my car at closing time one night, and didn't get to inspect it closely. As soon as I drove it home, I noticed by the light in my garage that there may have been an almost invisible dent on the top of my trunk, as if something might have been dropped on it. There wasn't a scratch but a difficult to distinguish dent, which I was pretty sure was not there when I had dropped off the car at United. I called Mark immediately, which I think was his dinner ... I have been meaning to post a review since March, and I just read the insincere review posted by bun1448. I have to say I COMPLETELY DISAGREE with bun1448?s assertions. I have taken three of my vehicles to United Auto Body over the past 10 years for various repairs. On one occasion I brought back my Honda Accord for warranty work on the bumper, and Mark IMMEDIATELY honored the warranty. The last job that Mark did for me was in February/March when my brand new car was damaged by a dog dragging a patio table across the passenger side at a Jamba Juice. The repair is absolutely undetectable. Mark and his staff gave me a thorough explanation of the repair process. They were relentless in getting the job done properly and worked well with my insurance company. Bun1448?s comment that USAA does not recommend United Auto Body is very misleading because insurance companies are simply responsible for paying for the repair, while the auto body shop is responsible for the actual work done o... United Auto Body is not associated or recommended by many insurance companies including USAA, which is a military insurance company. My vehicle's paint job was inferieor by not buffed out correctlyand their were panel alignments that were not acceptatble. When I brought in my vehicle they would not stand by their warranty and made false accusations. They took much longer to fix then originally told. I would not recommend this body shop to anyone. They were nice when you originally talk to them, but when you call them on their warranty they do not hold to it.

Thank you Mark Jannesari and the entire Auto Body staff. You fixed my mini-van quickly and at a great price. The whole experience was"easy" and very honest. It is very refreshing to know that there are still businesses out there that you can trust to do what they say and say what they mean. I will reccomend you to everyone that I know. Awesome!

I brought my car to United Auto Body to clean up a few dents \ scratches that my Infiniti G35 had accumulated as a result of parking it on the street for 4 years straight. Knowing that I was paying for my repairs out of pocket, Mark gave me an honest assessment of what I should fix and what I should leave. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and most importantly honest. He did an impeccable job on my car. He even cleaned up some curb rash on my rims for me at a very cheap price. The car looks brand new. I was deciding betweeen Caliber Collision and United Auto Body and I am very glad I went to Mark.

I take meticulous care of my car and I had the unfortunate experience of being bumped by another driver. If I had to trust someone to take care of my car to do the 'right' job, I would take it to United Auto. Mark and his staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Working with Mark, I can see that he makes sure that the job is done correctly with the utmost quality. When going there, United Auto does whatever they can to give you a good experience and they're honest and upfront about everything they do. I would definitely recommend this shop if you need body work done.

I just can't say enough about United Auto Body & Paint! As others have said in their reviews, it was like a body shop from "years ago".... not only do they remember your name, your car and exactly what you need done from just your quote, the final price is affordable, completely taken cake of with your insurance company in a timely matter and the expedient, end result is absolutely incredible. Plus, Mark and the staff bend over backwards to make sure your repair experience is seamless and quick. Hard to find? Just a bit but definately worth finding! (I would have driven 60 miles for the result of my repair but luckily, for me, they were just down the street.) So, how did my repair come out? Not only did they fix the body damage so that I couldn't even tell that it had been damaged, they buffed my entire car to look even better than when it came in! Can't beat that, can you???!!!!

In 1994 (on the advice of a co-worker) I had my car repaired at United Autobody and Paint. We have all heard the rumors about autobody repair shops. However, upon meeting Mark and his excellent staff all of my previous trepidation and fear about using an independent autobody shop were allayed. I have been back a few times to Mark's shop and thru the years I've urged anyone needing autobody repairs or painting to go to United Autodody. Excellent customer service. Fair and reasonable pricing. Quick turnaround on repairs. Insurance claims expertly handled. Very friendly atmosphere.

Although my Camry only needed a minor repair ( just a small ding in the bumper), Mark at United Auto Body cared about my business and satisfaction. Not only was the repair done quickly and efficiently, United Auto Body went beyond what they needed to do to ensure a good result. Not only did they repair what the contract required, they also did a little work for me that I didn't expect. So I was really delighted when I picked up my car and found it looking way better than I had expected. I had researched the procedure required to fix my bumper, got estimates (from some of the "bumper experts" around town) and was already somewhat educated when I went to United. One of my friends had used a mobile bumber repair and was not happy with the result, so I was skeptical about the whole bumper repair process. I asked Mark a lot of questions which he was happy to answer. While I was there I asked to see other body repairs on cars that had just been repaired. (I have had body work done o... Read more

I have had occasion to use Mark's services in the past, and have never been disapponited. He and his team are very professional, complete the work on time, at the price quoated. He always explains what has to be done, why it has to be done, and does it so that you walk away understanding why and what he is doing. Thier ability to match paint is just terrific. I've never had a mismatch on any color he has done( green, silver, black, and white). Add to all that the fact that the car is always cleaner than when i brought it in. I'd never think about going elsewhere. Rich in Scripps
