We were rudely treated and walked out! We were kept waiting for over an hour before they told us what was happening. It would have been nice to know in advance that the airspace was closed due to the president and that they had no idea what time they'd have us fly. After we were told they said probably 2 to 3 more hours of waiting because we needed to be searched???? so we went to another company.

We had a terrific helicopter ride after experiencing a horrific miscommunication with their competitor. The staff was friendly, the tour was fun, and I enjoyed myself immensely.

I had read all the reviews on-line and was more than nervous about purchasing the tour for my husband's birthday. There was no way we could have been happier with the entire experience! The staff was very helpful, friendly and professional. The tour was breathtaking and informative. The pilot was amazing (it was very windy, but the ride was great!). We definitely got more than our money's worth from this adventure, and I will be treating other family members to this experience of a lifetime in the near future!

We double confirmed a 4pm reservation, but they told us without an apology and in a rude manner that we were delayed 30-45 minutes. We decided to wait 30 mins, but it then became another 30 minutes and we didn't want the tour in the dark. They would not refund our money and we had to rebook. Everyone we talked to in the waiting room was in the same situation with Liberty. Familes from overseas were waiting 2 hours and their kids were getting restless and upset. From our conversations, I gathered that everyone had booked well in advance and that the company just overbooks as a policy and then makes people wait 1-2 hours. This is not only a bad policy, but the staff is so rude and unapologetic that the whole thing becomes a big turn-off. We really don't want to go back to this company, but since they wouldn't refund us, we have to. There is another company in the same building that was running on time and doesn't even book tours once it is dark. Everyone using their service looked happ... Read more

In Short The helicopter tours range in price, time and area covered, from a quick fly-by of major sites like the Statue of Liberty and the Empire State Building, to chartered journeys to various locales in the region, including Atlantic City. Climate control along with an expanded cabin ensure that comfort accompanies the view. Each chopper seats up to six passengers plus the pilot, and walk-in passengers are welcome at this location.

We were told b/c we didn't have a reservation we would have to wait 1-1.5 hours. We were sequestered in a small modular office w/ about 50 others; after over two hours and others behind us in line being called ahead of us, we finally asked if we had been forgotten. The customer svc response was dismissive & deplorable; their primary job, it seemed, was to cram through as many people as possible, as quickly as possible. After paying $105 each for a 10 minute ride (advertised as a "10-12 minute tour") w/ , the total time we wasted there was about 2.5 hours. The one blemish on an otherwise memorable NYC wknd.

Some of the most spectacular views of NYC I've ever experienced. Only wish is that it never stopped. I wanted to ride the tour again and again. Be careful, it's very addictive.

I felt like a Tazmainian Devil spinning over the greatest city in the world. It was one of the best experiences of my life. New York has never looked so cool. Highly reccommend no matter what the cost. Kids and adults would love this service.

The tour was excellent and well worth the money. Yes, it's a little expensive but it's a once in a lifetime expierence. The staff was superb and very safe with what they allowed on the helicopter. The pictures we got while in flight came out beautiful. Everyone should do this tour.

I've been flying for 10 years and have never flown in such a comfortable helicopter. Apparently this company just bought a brand new fleet of helicopters. I think they're called EC 130's from Eurocopter. Wide body and plenty of leg room. Once of the best tours I've ever had of such a great city. Very safe company and the staff were all excellent.

We were told we couldn't take pictures on the flight but as soon as we took off another group that was with us started snapping away. We didn't have cameras because the staff had told us no pictures. The flight is very short and its all over water so you do not get to see the city except from the river. You don't get that movie view of the city you think you'll get.

Liberty helicopters: In one words: Breathtaking. This ride brought my life new meaning, I have a deep desire to continue living after what I saw from the sky. New York is the most amazing city when you see it from the ground but when you see it from the sky it takes you to a new level of amazement. I would recommend that if you get a chance to come to New York, go to liberty helicopters and take this ride...It won't hurt your bank account but it will leave a life long experience in your heart !

This company will take you high over NYC to see the best New York has to offer. Their prices are reasonably low and the staff was extremely friendly. Great for a family adventure.

This is the best way to get a view of all the sky scrapers in NYC. What a beautiful place both from the ground and in the air

Tour was great. Saw all of Manhattan within 17 min. Best tour in NYC. Couldn't have gotten closer to the Statue of Liberty.

I just took their tour in July and they've upgraded their security even more so than before. YOU ARE NOW ALLOWED TO BRING PERSONAL CAMERAS ON BOARD!! I went back in Feb and I was told the same thing about not being able to bring cameras. I believe they were just looking out for everyone's safety. I highly reccommend them. It was a great and memorable time
