The Nine Zero is one of Boston's top boutique hotels. Located right next to the Boston Commons, the hotel (a Kimpden hotel), has some of th...

Give me a break. All the marble and pseudo-art in the world does not make up for poor, snotty customer service. That is why customers pay top dollar to stay at such an establishment - for how they're treated, not the materiele of their surroundings. Stay at the Ritz, Taj, or Four Seasons. Get your money's worth. Enough said.

I recently spent a weekend at the Nine Zero and the location of the hotel is great but the service could have been better. The hotel itself is in great condition and the beds are extremely comfortable. I would definately stay there again.

We love our Kimpton hotels! Nine Zero actually began as a happy fluke when we arranged for a Boston hotel through Priceline. Imagine how ecstatic we were when we got the Nine Zero! Check-in was quick and painless, and the room was absolutely gorgeous. Typical Kimpton style, modern and clean with a large room and bathroom...wonderful!!! The bed was absolutely one of the best we've slept in, and the entire staff was beyond helpful, cordial and pleasant. Even better, the location is central to most historical things in Boston...steps from Boston Common. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

The Scene Designed with upscale business-travelers in mind, Nine Zero has also accommodated many locals and tourists who've come to soak up a scene as hip as any in New York or London. Centrally located near the Financial and Theater districts, the hotel is steps from most tourist attractions. The ultrachic lobby, outfitted in steel and glass fixtures, is the most stylish in town. The Details All 190 sleekly designed rooms include personal work areas with cordless speaker phones, printer/copiers and free Internet access; 27-inch TVs and stereo systems with CD libraries; and uber-luxurious touches like satin hangers, custom linens and bath products, and fresh-ground coffee; several rooms have skyline views. For those interested in something less strenuous than the fitness center, personal shopping and driver services are available.

We stayed at the nine zero for two nights. And although it was a very nice place to stay and a great location, I was highly disappointed that our "FANTASTIC" room (mid-level rate) did not have a bathtub! For 200 bucks a night I would have at least expected that. We did get a corner room however, which I would highly recommend requesting if available. Room service was tasty, although over-priced (but, that can be said for all hotels). I'd visit again, but this time I'll know to check if the room will have a tub.

The downside of this hotel is that room rates are over $200, which is pretty pricey. The room we stayed in was actually pretty big for big c...

We found the hotel to be over priced and trying to look like a W hotel but ran out of money. The rooms were only average in size and the heath club was smaller than my closet at home. The staff lacked being attentive and we found service to be very slow checking in and having house keeping clean our room before returning from our activities. We would recomend to stay at a hotel with a Brand Name first.

I have stayed at NineZero twice and each time I left completely satisfied and looking for an opportunity to return. From the moment you arrive in the lobby you realize this place is unlike anyplace else. The decor is bright and modern. Dinner at Spire is absolutely a must! There is a fabulous wine menu and the food fantastic. Each time I stayed there I requested in advance a room with a view. The first time I was somewhat disappointed in the view and prior to returning I spoke with the front desk and they arranged for me to reserve a "corner" room.. These rooms are a little smaller but the view is incredible! The bed is the most comfortable that I've ever slept in by far. The staff was very accommodating and friendly.

I just stayed in Boston on a business trip in Boston for 12 days and I was lucky enough to try the nine zero. A new guy on the block but the staff had it down. They were stylish, cool and attentive. The beds are worth the prices alone. Even though I worked hard, I felt pampered and well rested when I left. Great place, Nine Zero is where I will stay every time I am in Boston.

The hotel itself is nice. The design is modern and chic. The rooms have some nice amenities. The young-ish staff, on the other hand, seemed inexperienced. Wake-up calls and breakfast arrived late. A colleague's laundry was lost for several days. Maids knocked on doors at 8 a.m. By far the worst experience of my stay was being bumped from my room. I awoke one morning to find my bill placed under the door. When I called to inquire why, I was told that my reservation had ended and that the hotel was fully booked for the evening. Incredulous, I asked the staff to look into this and fix what must have been a simple mistake. I was greeted with indifference, denials and blame. Worst of all, the staff made no attempt to rectify their error in any way, even by offering to find me a room at another hotel.

The restaurant was terrific, but wait staff and clientele was a bit overmatched. The room was small and terribly overpriced - I could have purchased my own fancy boom box for the difference! Little feeling of privacy in the room, nothing really substantively better than a basic hotel, at a really outrageous fee.

i have never stayed at the Nine Zero. however, on new years eve, my girlfriend and I went boston barhopping, ending at the Spire, the resteraunt and bar on the second floor of the Nine Zero. decent techno music, expensive drinks and art of the fartsiest kind, in addition to bathrooms to die for, made this my pick for boston's fanciest hotel.

I am a frequent traveler and this is without a doubt the nicest most tasteful hotel I have ever stayed in. Very Close to all the major attractions, the staff is very helpful and polite. Very modern and with a ton of ammenities that you never see in a hotel like High speed internet access and a workstation in your room with a printer etc.. .

Just spent three nights here on business, and this place is fantastic! Great location, right in the middle of town and a 5 minute cab from the Fleet Center. Staff was friendly and went out of their way several times to help me out when they didn't have to. Rooms are hip, with super comfortable bed, great new JVC stereo setups and nice views. Restaurant located in hotel (Spire) is very good- try the Lobster Club (excellent!). Bartenders were very friendly and drink prices are reasonable (mostly an after work crowd here). A couple of cool bars are located within easy walking distance, including one right across the street. I WILL be back- promise!

COOLEST HOTEL IN TOWN. EVERYTHING IS DONE RIGHT IN THIS PLACE. TRENDY BUT HAS LEGS THAT WILL LAST. EVERYTHING DOWN TO THE SHEETS ON THE BED MAKES THIS PLACE A WONDERFUL SPOT TO FEEL LIKE CELEBERTY FOR THE LENGHT OF YOUR STAY. GREAT LOCATION AND ATTENTIVE SERVICE. SIT DOWN FOR DINNER AT SPIRE FOR A CULINARY TREAT AS WELL. THEY REALLY HAVE THEIR ACT TOGETHER.

After a long day - what a wonderful place to rest..the bed was huge, the linens were luxurious, the room was beautiful. Turn down with Italian nougats, a well appointed mini bar and definitely friendly staff at front of desk. How disappointed we were to find that Spire served breakfast only until 11 on a Sunday - did not leave enough time after a lazy sleep in. And why such a long wait for the valet to bring our car? Surely they must realize that with a checkout of 11, many people need to have their cars ready to leave then - waiting for over 20 minutes tainted what was otherwise a relaxing overnight stay.

This is definitely in line to be one Boston's hottest hotels. The rooms look very cool, and the service at the restaurant, Spire, is spectaular and very attentive. Get there before it's hot so you can tell all your friends you're ahead of the curve...

Nice staff. Chuck is great! But, enough "minor difficulties" to really get on your nerves. If you want service, check into the more traditional hotels in the area. Comfortable beds.

I'm finally thrilled The Ritz Carlton was sold out or I would have never thought to try something new! The decor and style is invigorating, the room amenities were perfect and the location is unmatched. I can't wait for my next trip to Boston!
