This is one of my favorite places! I thought it was still closed ( the website says it is) but just found out from friends there is a new website and its re-opened with all my old favorites! Yes, for you fellow fans, I'm talking about the sea bass. Chef Gregory is still in the kitchen! It is BYOB but theres a little wine shop just close to Gregory's so it's easy. Old number is disconnected, too. its now 972-881-0582

Although Plano has many excellent restaurants, Gregory's stands out. The small, unassuming establishment in old Downtown has a very good menu, but the real surprise is when you order the Chef's Selection. We had a party of six, five of whom ordered the Chef's three-course menu (four and five are also available)--I was the hold out, ordering ala carte--I am wary of fish, though the fish dishes are very tasty; I have had them. Fish first, two different fish each prepared with a different sauce, which encouraged sharing, though I am not sure anyone was willing. Second, different meat entrees, for each. Different manner of preparation and presentation for each. Finally, deserts, different all around. Everyone was very satisfied with their meal, enjoying the food and the surprise. We ordered drinks and wine, but on other occasions my wife and I have ordered with the wine pairings, which are very good--definitely takes the stress from making a selection and provides a different win... I am originally from southern Louisiana, Lafayette to be specific. I had Friday off with my girlfriend and mother. After getting my haircut at the barber shop across the street (Plano Barbers) we decided to look for a place to eat. My girlfriend saw this place, and I thought it was a little too nice for flip-flops and shorts. However, the gentleman at the front door came out and invited us inside. They were very nice and accommodating. My girlfriend and mother ordered the chicken salads and had no complaints. I decided to go for the special, which was the ribeye. I will tell you that this was absolutely the BEST damn steak I've had in a long time. It was glazed with honey and topped off with balsamic, very delicious... The chef is from France and speaks French. I have been to Paris twice and will tell you that this is the real deal Plano, TX. Check it out when you have time. The Mojitos were awesome! Thank you Gregory for your service! We also received a free round of drinks on the hou... Read more

There were four people in our party. Each person loved every course from the cheese plate right through dessert and coffee. Our waiter was great and the restaurant is very nice and very clean. We will definitely be back.

In Short In the heart of Plano's historic district awaits an unassuming French fusion ambiance with a receptive staff. Lunch and dinner is populated by lasting lovers or powerful businessmen all satisfied with their choice of venue. The Pan seared sea bass is the catch of the appetizer menu served with beef steak tomato and basil pesto. Entrees range from roasted duck to a duo of venison, all prepared with elegance. Indulge just enough for dessert to impress. Hit: Chef Gregory Moreaux is particular about his ingredients; respected local and international vendors are hand picked. Miss: The dining room is somewhat short on space for all those who want to enjoy the well known chef's creations.

If you would like to go to a brand-new (but no kinks) restaurant, you definitely need to go to Gregory's in old, downtown Plano on 15th and ...
