From the minute I walked into Invitations by Lee I felt welcome. I only had a vague idea of the kind of invitations we wanted. At first I needed to look over the different kinds of invitations. The staff was fine with that, so I just sat there and looked over the books. They have an excellent selection. When I needed help or suggestions, they were right there. Maria has a lot of experience and a really great eye. She had many good suggestions and made the entire experience enjoyable. We have recommended them to other couples we know who were getting married and they had great experiences as well.

The negative review here does not in any way match my expereince with Invitations by Lee. I guess it's safe to say that every business will have situations that don't go as hoped and it's surely not acceptable if it's YOUR order that's not satisfactory. But I will say that my experience with this company was totally positive. I had been referred to them by a couple of friends who had also used them for invitations and been pleased. My order also involved wedding invitations. We worked with several of the ladies there and all were very helpful and professional. Each time we visited, they took the necessary time with us. They took careful notes and brought out multiple sample books to show us until we found just what we wanted. Their pricing was carefully calculated and everything was spelled out fully. We later went back to talk with them about "save the dates" and ceremony programs. Again, they spent lots of time with us, even though we told them up front we were checking other places, including doing them ourselves. That didn't make a difference in the service.

I I looked everywhere for wedding invitations and discovered Invitation By Lee in Charlotte, NC. As soon as I walked in the door I was greeted with false security. I thought I was prepared; I brought in examples and explained exactly what I envisioned. My sales associate insured me my invitations would be no issue and everything would turn out great by my order date. I made my first deposit I was told my invitation proof would be in shortly for my review. Three days later, after not hearing form the company I called and was told my proof was email to me. Upon checking my email I noticed I did not receive my proof and had to call back twice before it could be sent. When I received the proof it was not what we discussed and I had to return to Invitations By Lee numerous times to insure the correct product would be manufactured. I called once a week and went to the store once to twice a week as my promised due date came and passed. I called to find out they stalled the printing because the vendor was on vacation and they were scared to have another employee from the same vendor print the invitations. This delayed me another whole week and I was not even notified. Finally the invitations came in and they were printed WRONG and the invitation would not fit in the envelope!! The invitations were printed on the wrong paper. At the end the invitations turned out good, I still had to pay $529 but I received A stinking $50 off of an order that was a 2 ? weeks LATE!! The original price quote was under $400 and I requested the envelope be lined which never happened. The associate called later to apologies and offered to address my envelopes at no charge which I agreed like an idiot there were promised to me by Sunday and I did not get them till Monday afternoon. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY THAT IS WHEN THEY TURN ON YOU
