I had a terrible experience with Lone Star Limousine!! I had booked them online to pick up me and my bride at the end of our wedding. I paid in advance online so I wouldn't have to worry about it on my wedding day. At the end of the wedding, we walked out for our big exit, and there was no car waiting for us! About an hour later, we found the car parked on the side of the venue with driver asleep inside. He missed the entire thing! I called the company and asked to speak to a manager. I explained what happened and he insisted the whole thing was my fault, saying it was my job to summon the driver to the entrance of the venue. The worst part of the whole thing was that we never even got to use the car (it was too late by the time we found the sleeping driver) and they refused to refund my money! So in summary, they charged me over $180 to stand me up on my wedding night. My advice is to stay away from Lone Star Limousine!!! If you do decide to use them for some reason, I ... Read more

Ok heres the deal folks, I have been in all of the vehicles this company uses and will tell you only two would I consider safe. Thats 2 out of 11 total vehicles. If your only concern is getting a cheap ride and have no interest in service then by all means go with Lone Star (formerly ELS). Most of the drivers are no more than taxi drivers in black suits. No training or instruction in customer service is evident on every trip. There are lots of other companies here in town and you will find better service anywhere.

My boss uses this car services a couple times a month. They are always pleasant and courteous. Also, all employees know him by name, which is such a contrast to the car services in NYC. Always go with this company.

I was taking my family on a trip to Australia for a month. The driver arrived 15 minutes early. Traffic was stopped on 183 because of an accident. Because of shortcuts the driver knew we arrived at the airport in time for our flight. When we arrived in Los Angeles for our connecting flight I called a friend here in Austin who was in that same traffic jam for 1hour and 45 minutes. Had it not been for our professional driver we would have missed our plane. I was glad I gave him a $50.00 tip.
