I used Clinique in high school when my mom took me to learn how to put makeup on as a teenager. That was great then but as i turned into my 20's and returned to use their products. It completely broke me out sooo bad that I ended up seeing a dermatologist! Ive used everything from their skincare and their makeup. Make-up--It does not show up and by the time you have applied 10 layers you have to buy more and its such a waste of your money. If i'm going to buy Clinique I might as well head to the local drugstore! A lot of the same ingredients in skincare by Clinique are the same as those in a drugstore! I am looking for the newest technology and ingredients in skincare bc as we all know our environment and world is changing! Clinique has always had dramatically different moisturizer for as long as i can remember! They have not changed it except into a gel. and now recommend using it with another moisturizer. Not much in technology....just another expense to buy. Why would i continue t... Read more

Clinique is a high quality, hypo-allergenic brand of fresh, clean cosmetics that was the first company to really use the science behind the products as its chief selling point. I love the light green packaging as well. Their eye shadows are the best powder eye shadows I have ever used. Their prices are not outrageous for a department store brand.

i would like to share that i have used Clinique products for about four years now. I used the aniti-gravity face cream and had a terrible reaction. my eyes face and cheeks, neck were swollen. i immediately stopped using the product. it took three days for my face to be back to normal. i called Clinique and reported it. well i continue to use just the lotion which i have no problem with. i tried yet another cream.youth surge spf15. The next day my whole face, neck, and eyes were so swollen i had to immediately get a shot and steroids. i will stop using all face creams. however i do like their cosmetics.

i love the superfit foundation line.  I went to an event they had and one of the ladies was testing colors on my face the first one she found fit my skin color exactly.  It's hard to find the right color for your tone sometimes but she found it instantly and I've been using it for about a year now.  It covers my red blotchy cheeks perfectly and it lasts me basically all day.(the superfit is made for that lol). Although I do have a problem with their facial washes I noticed after the first 1-2 uses  my skin got irritaded and itchy and the break out was worse I really wouldn't reccomend it but hey it works for my friend so *shrug*  they do need a bigger variety of color though one of my freinds has extrememly pale skin and they don't have a shade light enough for her.

Their foundations are goe on heavy, masky, and the foundation colors they offer are awful. Also, their skincare products are okay. But their certainly not worth the pricetags associated with them.

I am 36 and have been noticing crows feet beginning around my eyes and lines around my lips! I tried the most expensive Lancome first...what a joke (and greasy moisturizers!) I tried Shiseido-no difference and oh my GOD expensive! I turned to Clinique and I will never turn back. Less expensive than the others I have mentioned(by far!) their products revealed a difference. I have skin that is dry in some areas, oily in others and am an avid sun worshipper. OK so here is the combo that began erasing,(not just minimizing), my lines!!!! 1.Take The Day Off makeup remover(a little greasy so..)2.Liquid facial soap mild (takes the grease off) 3.7-day scrub 4.Clarifying lotion 5.repairwear deep wrinkle concetrate (eyes and lips) 6.turnaround concentrate(the rest of the face and neck) 7.Dramatically different moisturing lotion. My skin looks flawless. The tiny bumps on my forehead are gone. My pores are minimized and the lines have almost completely gone away!!! Notice that I counteract a greasy... Read more

You cannot ever go wrong with Clinique. It is one of the most universal, distinctive, quality brands on the beauty market today. I have used an array of Clinique products and I have to say, they never seem to disappoint. Clinique is definitely a brand that I enjoy and will continue to use.

Never tried anything that really stood out. The Dramatically Different Moisturizer is pure grease. The soap has animal fat in it. There are far better products out there.

I've been using Clinique for about a year now, and I tried their High Definition Mascara. I also bought the Lash Building Primer. The mascara is double sided with a comb on one side and a brush on the other, and I found it difficult to work with it since the brush was too stiff. The comb was the only side I could use. I would completely recommend the Lash Doubling mascara! As for the primer, it does an excellent job at providing a good base for the mascara all day. AND, it doesn't irritate my super sensitive eyes! :-)

I used this brand for about 5 years (out of habit). It dries your skin and is very bad for premature aging ... and is indeed not as pure and innovative as they want to come across. I recommend Sisley (expensive) or Bioterm.

After moving to a high desert (dry dry dry -- and sunny!) area my normally dry/normal/sensitive skin went into itch overdrive!! I tried lots and lots of products that would stop the itch! Clinique worked great for me! Products I love are: Extra Mild Soap (use it for Face and Body!!), Extra Gentle Toner, Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion, and All About Eyes eye cream (almost a gel). I also like their Mascaras very much (and I wear contacts). I like their eyeshadows in a tube. I buy the mildest travel soap they have (don't have extra mild in this size) and use them as hand soap (doesn't cause psoriasis outbreak!) and when I travel. These products are definately worth the money - better than less expensive products I tried. I have used these Clinique products in combination with other brands and no problems. I don't really like their cosmetic lines -- lipstick made my lips peel, eyeliner ran when I laughed too much (til I cried -- had rivers of liner running down my fac... Read more

These skincare products are full of ingredients that are potentially dangerous, often irritating an just plain non-beneficial to your skin--i.e., Mineral Oil... (this ingredient is a by-product of petroleum and is used to repell moisture from baby's bottoms--why would you use it to nourish the skin on your face), Petrolatum and SD alcohol (this is alcohol that is drying and specially denatured--listed by many as dangerous), and wax... In Don't Go to the Cosmetics Counter without me, the author calls Clinique's Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion, "not dramatically different than any other moisturizer" on the market. I personally use another skincare line that I love, but I just have a problem with Clinique marketing themselves as gentle and pure (note the white lab coats) when the products are really just full of cheap fillers and irritants. If you like them, go for it, but I felt compelled to share my opinion about this Estee Lauder brand.

Amazing products, but expensive. If you can afford it, then you should try them. They have products for every type of skin- my mom has ultra sensitive skin and their 3-step prcocess is the only thing that keeps her skin feeling normal.

Their lipsticks don't leave your lips feeling smooth. After long periods of use they begin to crack your lips. Other than that the lipstick is good. It is best used with chapstick.

OK, doesn't last long. Too dry. Most of the lipsticks nowadays have sunscreen and the majority of Clinique lipsticks don't, and the ones that do have really bad colors. They need to somehow add moisturizer to their brands.

Their lipsticks don't have a variety of colors people actually want to wear. Some of their lipsticks are too dry and smell bad. They are more expensive than the cheaper lipsticks like Wet & Wild, but the quality is the same.

It's pretty expensive. A lipliner is about $12.00 and gloss is about $13.00. They have really pretty colors for every season. But I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 because it doesn't stay on very long. It rubs off easily and I always have to reapply it. Other than that it's a good lipstick.

I've acutally have only tried the Black Honey, but it's probably my favorite lipstick-smooth, glossy, sheer, with just the right amount of color and a sexy silver case to boot. The only drawback is the $12 price tag. Otherwise, I'd probably have a make up bag stuffed full of Clinique lipsticks.
