As with all cat toys/products, it depends upon the cat. I have two cats (one female feline, and one boy cat-shaped entity<- we think he's a cat, but he's stupid, and doesn't behave like one). Anyways, I have several of the cardboard scratchers, but this one is the first one my boy has EVER used properly. He generally doesn't even know what his claws or for, or how to use them, and just rubs/rolls around on the flat scratchers. He also loves trying to stick his head into the little hidey-hole. My girl loves anything that she can scratch, and loves even more a challenge of getting a toy out of a difficult spot (as shown by the graveyard of toys under the oven and fridge). All in all, definitely a great product for my household. this and the ball-in-a-donut are the only toys/entertainment my cats regularly use!

Not much different than most cat scratcher pads. My cats do seem to like the incline, but other than that it's about the same as others.

Every person's cat is different. I actually have two, one will not scratch anything that is not carpet. The other loves these cardboard scratching things. Of course, one of my cats wont use it (which I expected). The other one adores this product. I've never purchased an incline scratcher before so I didn't know if he'd like it. I find it in a different spot every morning which leads me to believe that he has a good time with it while I'm sleeping. It's super durable and provides hours of entertainment to my cat. The only thing is, like I mentioned, I find it in a different spot every morning. I wish it was a bit heavier so he wouldn't be able to push it around. And the cat toy is still in place, which I'm very surprised about. Overall, try this product... it's great!

My cat loves cardboard scratchers and this was no exception. He shredded through the first side in one night. Now he is laying on it to keep the others away and let them know "this is mine". I love that cardboard scratchers are biodegradable and recyclable. The picture was deceiving, it showed a mouse toy but actually has a paper crinkle ball. This is okay since my big boy would only be interested if it came with a live one. But my kitten quickly fished it out and deposited the little paper wad under the fridge.

My cat loves these incline cat scratchers. He won't touch the ones that lay flat on the floor. It was time to buy a replacement and I chose this brand because of the price and the free shipping. (It was several dollars cheaper than the ones at the local big box pet store.) My cat loves it, and I don't even bother to sprinkle the catnip on it.
