A movie I rate as a 5 star war movie and 4 star drama. Against all films of all genre it cannot rate higher than a 3. It MIGHT be in my top 150 but I am not sure. A 2 could be more appropriate. The acting is very good and for a long movie it is very entertaining.

If you want to watch a great character study of men in a wartime situation then watch this movie. If you want to watch one of the greatest acting feats ever present on film(given by Sir Alec Guiness) then rent this film
