I have a 13 year old shep/collie mix whose arthritis reached a point that I knew she needed something more than aspirin. Our vet put her on a steroid/cortisone med but it did not agree with her. Then he prescribed 227mg of Previcox. When I googled Previcox I decided I could not and would not put her on it. The possible side-effects are scary!!! Desperate for something safe, I went to a health food store and tried K-9 Crumbles. Within 24 hours she appeared better. Within 48 hours she was getting up easier and wanting to go for a walk. We couldn't even get her outside without a lot of coaxing when she was on the steroid/cortisone. It's been 7 days, and she is back to her old self. I am hopeful with long-term use, she will continue to improve. An added plus is the cost. I wasted $54 on just 2 weeks worth of medications. K-9 crumbles will cost about $10/month (71 pound dog). So far we are happy with the results!

I've used it without any ill effects, but i came here to find out more about it and see how it has worked for other people. I'm wary of products aimed at pets because they're so often made of crap without good science behind it.
