I'm so upset that NBC cancelled the BEST SHOW IN THE WORLD! It was so much better than these new stupid shows. They don't even compare. I LOVED this show and would always look forward to it. I always reminded my dad when it was on and that we couldn't miss it. I miss it so much. I know that this comment will not make a difference but I put it anyways. I REALLY wish it would come back on. PLEASE come back on! I'm desperate!

I abosolutly loved this show! It wasn't all about violence, sex, and every other thing on tv. It showed family love and wasn't afraid of talking about religion. I would do anything to get this show back on the air!If anyone finds a way to try to save this show e-mail me at [email protected]!!!

Awesome show. It's one of the few clean family oriented shows on TV. Great acting, great writing, and it's unique. It should never have been moved from Sunday nights. It was working at that time. It's hard to remember it's on Wednesdays.

American Dreams is in the same category as the great 1970s family dramas that I grew up with. The Waltons dealt with the Great Depression of the 1930s; the Ingalls of Little House on the Prairie endured pioneer life in 19th century America; and the Pryors of American Dreams are evolving with the social changes of the turbulent 1960s. Hopefully NBC officials will come to their senses and renew this impeccable program. The cast is outstanding, the music is reminiscent of a bygone era, and the storyline keeps my family and me coming back for more. Not all of us enjoy the shows that depict people consuming bugs and dirt.

Great show. I love historical dramas. It's fascinating to see what life was like for my parents when they were growing up. My mom points out the flaws in the writing and I've heard several people complain about the music timelines being off, but this is entertainment, after all. The issues the mom is facing should really be the daughter's issues, but that would leave Helen(the mom) pretty one-dimensional. The Patriarch is an amusing mixture of strict traditionalism and political correctness. He's awfully liberal for a 1960s Catholic. The writers are slowly giving him more character. There's a lot to work with there. The oldest son is fairly typical. The oldest daughter is allowed way too much freedom. The younger children are fun to watch, as they add an innocent and comical side to the very dramatic show. I hope the show stays on for many more years and I can't wait to see how the characters develop further.

This is a show about history and a time of America. It does a great job of using the music with emotions of this family and friends. Why does everything have to be CSI-types. Get real and allow something different.

My wife Suzanne and daughter Megan got me hooked on AD this year and if it is canceled I might have to divorce one and disown the other. I hate being disappointed. So, save a family, keep the show on.

i love American Dreams. If it gets canceled i'll be really upset, but its hard for me to watch anyway, now that they've moved it from the sunday slot. If NBC axes the show they are throwing in the towel too early. This is a show that could go on for at least another year and find some sucess.

this is the best show on t.v right now ! i't personally tired of seeing nothing but half clothed girls having sex, snorting cocaine. this is the only show that is different and needs to stay on the air to give young teenagers something to look at besides their peers having sex.

American Dreams is an excellent TV show. It is extremely upsetting that it might go off the air. We do not have too many family oriented (good) shows on the air anymore and it is sad that they are trying to get rid of this one just to add more mind polution to the television. Sunday night was perfect, there is nothing else on that is worth watching at that time and it is a great way to wind down the weekend. It is a terrible shame that NBC is ruining a great show.

NBC should be ashamed for bumping this show to make room for yet another (dreadful looking) reality show: The Contender. Just what we need on Sunday night: a show where a bunch of men are gonna pummel each other. Yep, that's fine family viewing, isn't it? And to make sure the show dies (did they even want to give it a chance), they moved it to Wednesday against some very powerful competition. NBC wants to kill this show. It's obvious. I hate them.

Ahhh! I LOVE THIS SHOW. I can't stand it when we go through many weeks without getting a new eppy. I love the family life, the history, and most of all, the pairing of Sam and Meg. I have been waiting forever for them to finally get together...and it looks like we finally are! Please don't cancel this show now that it's at its best.

This show is amazing. It is one of the few family orriented shows on the air these days. It is also one of the only shows I am willing to pay $75-$80 for a season on DVD! If the show does not make it, atleast release the following seasons on DVD so it can live on with us die hard fans!

This show NEEDS to be on the air. It is entertaining and educational for the generation that does not realize how important the 60-70's were. It shows the children today about Vietnam and racism. It is a thought provoking show unlike a lot of the shows on the air. People had enjoy quality TV time while watching American Dreams.

This is one of the few creative shows out there. I'm glad some of the writers in Hollywood actually still have jobs, since there are so many awful reality shows that are about as creative as a box of cereal. This show really needs to stay on, if not, there's not much out there that is worth while. Please don't cancel this show.

American Dreams is an incredible show. Not only is the material great for families, unlike many shows today, but the plot is interesting and engaging. It would be in poor taste of NBC and its sponsors to cancel this show.

American Dreams is an amazing and magical show. It's like watching a time capsule explode on the screen and it's a beautiful story about good people trying to do the right then in a tumultous time. It's also quality television.

American Dreams is a show that is needed at this time, especially with everything going on in the world today. Watching a family like the Pryors going through the trials and tribulations they go through each week shows the viewers a life that we have worked so hard to improve. Not giving a show like this a chance and replacing it with yet another trashy reality tv show or predictible nightime soap shows how shallow some peoples values are. Great music, a fantastic under appreciated cast, and interesting storylines have kept this show a favorite for its fans. Don't take it away from us.

Americna Dreams is the best show I have ever seen because it shows me how life was back in the 1960's. I was ot alive then, so American Dreams, gives me great detail of how life was back then for whites and blacks and everyone. It also shows me how everyone handled the killing of President in the first season and now in the 2nd and 3rd season, it shows/showed me how everyone handled not having JJ around becuase he was in the war and he was a marine and American Dreams shows me how the war was and how a war is handled. Let me just tell you one more thing, I love this show more than my education.

This show is indeed very entertaining, but more than that, it has shown me how my mom and dad's lives were shaped before they had me. I love the fact that we get together every Sunday evening as a family to have dinner and watch American Dreams. For the entire length of the show, I watch my parents sit and laugh, recall the truths of the show, and reminisce about their own experiences during those years. Taking this show off the air would kill a precious bond I am currently building with my family, and I am positive I am not the ONLY person in the world being blessed with it.

I love American Dreams because Jonathan Prince deals with issues that are both relevent today as well as back then. I love watching the maturing of America as liberation kicks in. I adore the music, the spiritual and moral aspects of the show. It reminds me alot of the Wonder Years with Fred Savage. It's a show our whole family sits down to watch. I think that's what's missing in many tv shows today the bringing the family together like it use to. With American Dreams anyone can sit down and watch it from 5 to 105. You can seriously enjoy all the characters. One can relate to any of them on any level. I love that it looks at both sides of the war the people who were for it and the ones who were against it. It doesn't bring either side down, but it opens your eyes to why each of us believe what we do. Please save American Dreams it's a powerful show!
