He might have been one of the greatest orators, but his evil deeds out did the good ones. Unlike Martin luther King Jr. who spoke the words of peace and good message through his entire life, Hitler was just good and after he received the power, he became a monster and turned against those what who gave him the power, killing and persecuting the innocent! We know this is all know this is the truth. This man is the worst in the history of men I have known to have lived!

Hitler damaged civilization in countless ways. First, Nazism has been used ever since (mostly by the left) as a pejorative label to discredit anything they oppose as "racism," including assertions of cultural superiority (or even difference) by people of European descent. (Actually, Hitler claimed not to believe that Jews were a racial group at all, though given his other racial preoccupations this seems hard to believe.) Second, Hitler and Mussolini created bogus ideologies (Nazism/fascism) which after the war were used by the Soviet propaganda machine and leftist intellectuals to convince the world that fascism and communism were somehow opposite ideologies and distract attention away from Communists’ crimes against humanity. In reality, the only important differences between Nazism and Soviet Communism were Hitler's choice of a scapegoat (Jews rather than bourgeoisie) and its nationalistic focus (Hitler was not interested in any international movement; he wanted to rule the world... The fact that, as some people have previously stated, this man is one of the most evil men this century has ever seen should rate him higher not lower. This is not a list of likeable people, or people you want over for sunday dinner, it's a list of importance. And this man should be remembered by all as a reminder of how easy it is to incite hatred against others, and use that hatred to eradicate a culture. Also without him we could never of had this and it's countless spinoffs. edit: Curse you git for beating me to it.

Ok this is part of the reason why I am not on here any more. Adolf Hitler is at the top of the list for 20th Century leaders. Any one who worships this evil piece of crap amazes me, here is a guy who had probably the greatest war machine the world had ever seen, with some of the best military minds and mostly, thanks to Hitler, he looses the war. He doesn't just loose the war, his country is bombed back to the stone age and then proving to be the coward he really was, he kills himself. He led his people into a war that they did not want or need and then he even turns on them because he blames them for the defeat. This is the number one leader of the 20th Century. I used to make a point on this site about quality vs. quantity, and I on occasion have been hammered for that. If this does not prove my point I don't know what does. Have the mindless really taken over the site or is this just a sick joke. People need to watch or read about what this man did to other humans, not animals no... Read more

Hitler was perhaps the most infamous of modern villians, though Mao and Stalin caused as much or more misery with their brands of utopian genocide. His goal was a perfect society and to achieve it he planned to exterminate or reduce to slavery the vast majority of humans on earth. He had particularly deadly animosity towards Jews, socialists*, liberals, Gypsys, the handicapped and sexual minorities, and he believed that the world should be run strictly by and for the benefit of "Aryans". Never one to allow pseudo science to get in the way of his plans, when he felt the need for military help from the Japanese, he declared them, "Aryans of The East". *His cynical inclusion of the word, "socialist" in the nazi party's name was typical of his propaganda minister's BIG LIE technique.

It is my belief that Adolf Hitler is important to history and one of the most influential men. Now don't take this information and just think I'm some e-Nazi because this is all raw truth. Without this man ever coming to power you could wipe two countries of the map of today. The first obviously being Israel because then there would be no reason for a Jewish Nation-State and Jews would still be persecuted globally like they were 60 years ago instead of the concentrated hate in the Middle East. Sadly this had to happen because 6 million died. Contrary to most beliefs, this was not Hitler's primary goal but I'll explain this later. The other country you can wipe off would be Germany. After WWI and the Treaty of Versailles (Ver-sai, not Ver-say-lees), the Germans had no hope of recovering. Their country was thrown into despair, cut in half, no army (only around 2000 men for reserves), reprimand of $3.3 billion (USD), and take all the blame. They didn't even get invited to the making... Adolf Hitler was one of the worst human beings who ever lived. Because of him thousands and thousands of people died. So many people were killed that they had to bury them in ditches. Hitler believed that only Germans should live. He wanted everybody else to be killed. Thank God that he did not succeed. It was a great day when that bastard died. Many great soldiers lost their lives fighting against him. They were great heroes.

In a world where moral hypocrisy is on the rise, I could not help but rate him a 5. I am not a fan of him but he influenced alot of people. He did alot of bad stuff, but some of his actions were exaggerated and some things he did were intentionally/unintentionally misunderstood. Israel and America hate him alot, as do many others, but they have done bad things like him or even worse. The Zionists in Palestine took many lessons from him and terrorized Palestinians. America won WW2 and went on to invade and terrorize more countries and fight more wars against people who did nothing to America at all. Many politicians seem to idolize Hitler based on their actions as many are ruthless, corrupt, etc. But they become hypocrites and criticize Hitler, while they themselves are evil too. Many people these days are abusive and nasty. I can imagine how many people who had the power that Hitler had would willingly do so much evil things. One of the things that was exaggerated was what he did to Je... Read more

Another in a seemingly endless parade of butchers who have risen to domination at one time or another. And like virtually all the others, he did so with the support of the "people" both in his ascension to power and and in his retention of it. What seemingly remains constant in human history is the desire for for most of the ciitzenry for stability at any cost. Most people will willingly tug their forelocks and pay homage to the "strong man on a horse," whether in Mesopotamia 7,000 years ago or anywhere in the world today. The greatest danger in a cavalier dismissal of Hitler (or others of his ilk) as a creature of the past, or creation of unusual circumstances, is to diminish the need for vigilance in the present and future. Figures like Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, etc, are members of a long parade of nihilistic and murderous tyrants stretching back millenia. There is no reason to believe, based on historical evidence, that humankind has learned any lesson at all from them.

Goindown speaks: "These are the facts, and whether you're mentally capable of understanding them or not is irrelevant. Six million Jews, roughly four million Christians, millions more dying to stop the insanity all because one deranged fuck decided that the world was a better place with him running it." Consider this: Before he started on any "Race, Creed, or Religion," Hitler gathered the "impure" invalids from the various infirmaries and exterminated them as a waste of societal resources. The act went well received as a solution to a hideous problem and gave him license to attack bigger groups of "impure character." As a people become desparate, any plan delivered passionately may be suffered by the masses. Sometimes happily.

Writing a review for this dick is like trying to buy a gift for the man who has everything. Try as you might, you can't say anything about him that hasn't already been said. This fuck has been dissected more times than high school science frogs, with the exception that the kids who dissected said frogs actually learn something. For all you holocaust deniers, Nazi sympathizers and all-around degenerate turds who claim that the Jews, Christians, Blacks, and well essentially everyone on the planet except for peckerhead himself, deserved what they got, I've got some advice for you. Grab that Smith and Wesson you've been saving for the return of the "good old days", stick said gun in mouth, pull trigger, rinse and repeat. These are the facts, and whether you're mentally capable of understanding them or not is irrelevant. Just when I thought I rated every Hitler entry at Rateitall! What could I possibly add to the thousands of postings here? After all is said and done, Americans will simply plead ignorance for voting in an incompetent putz in 2008, and for the most part, I’ll accept that. Not so much with the German people. Many of them knew the Nazi party was anti Semitic and still supported them. That never sat right with me.

Adolf Hitler was bar far the greatest speaker in recent history, quite possibly of all time. I don't speak German well, but you don't need to speak his language to realize how great he was at speaking it. Just listen to one of his speeches and the sheer emotion in every word. Not to mention the fact that he turned a 50 man political party into the sole party of Germany through his speeches.

Hitler is easily the greatest orator of all time. Hitler went from being a poor Austrian peasant, the son of an abusive customs officer and his grossly under aged wife to the the German Chancellery. All of this thanks to his remarkable ability to manipulate and subsequentely control those around him due to his prodigious oratory skills (and a hell of a lot of wily stratagems and countermines). I am Jewish, a member of the race of people this man almost annihilated and yet I am still uttery transfixed on with this mans genius and ability to deliver some of the greatest and most theatrical speaches of all time (the Nuremberg rally kicked the hell out of the million man march).

If the rubric for "most influential" includes influencing the course of history for both good AND evil, then Hilter would have to rank among the most influential people in world history. His rise to absolute power, and his subsequent complete dominion and control over virtually all of Europe, despite being based on bigotry, hatred, and his bizarre genetic theory of the so-called "master race," thrust the entire world into the cataclysm that was World War II. It has been estimated that approximately 73 Million people were killed during World War II, of which 48 Million were civilian deaths (including famine, disease, and extermination), and 25 Million were military deaths. Hitler, as evil as he was, came within one severe Russian winter of establishing world hegemony by Nazi Germany, and despite his ultimate defeat, the course of world history was irrevocably changed by his actions. As a direct result of his influence, the United States and the Soviet Union became the dominating powers ... Read more

I hate to give the guy 4 stars,  but if its a rating on Orators he deserves it.  He had a high IQ and was insane,  a dangerous combination.  That said,  he knew what people wanted to hear,  and he knew how to say  it, with confidence and a forcefullness that many at the time found convincing.

Hating Jews was just part of Hitler's military plan to bring back the glory to Germany. In order to wage war, Hitler must have funds to support this and the Jews are the perfect source for this. He believes that the Jews were the reason for his misfortune and for Germany’s poverty. It is just but right for him to take back what is due for Germany and as a penalty for the sufferings he will take it all back including those owned by the Jews. To finally escape to this inhumane act the only recourse was to eradicate them.

All those who cannot even concede that he was a great orator basically have their opinions swayed by other facts, merging the conclusion into a mush - "He was a bad man so he can't be a great orator." These are the types of people who cannot think objectively and are susceptible to propaganda.

Hm, while i was reading "Mein Kampf" i realize that he was nothink special as writer. In some opinions he was write and told the truth,in other he was just a funny guy.     Hitler(and maybe Stalin too) was the last real politician, he believed in a vision and he wasn't a manager of big companies like the modern ones.      He made Germany from a poor country, too a big powerfull nation, that's why German people loved him.    But... he send the kids of Germany to a war and finally he destroyed  what he built. I don't believe that he was a monster(or more monster that other modern criminal leaders) amd i don't believe to the Jewish propaganda. I think he was an honest fanatic.

Is he important in history? Begrudgingly, yes. But Adolf Hitler stands as a testament of what happens when inhumanity, enflamed with deadly hatred and seething racial bigotry, finds its way to power. We should always remember this disturbed, bestial figure of history in hopes that another one like him will never attain power.
