I find myself reading her quite a bit. CastleBee has that edge about her that I like a lot, but she doesn’t come off as a self-absorbed reviewer who gets off reading their own reviews.

Haven't been seeing anything of Castlebee lately. She is missed.

If we agreed on everything, what interest would there be in reading her posts? Nice person, funny posts, and has a refreshing lack of pretension and pomposity.

UPDATE: I have seen a bit more of her and her comments are quality comments which I find interesting to read. Maybe there may be a couple of comments I may not agree on, but I'm sure she doesn't agree with all my comments! She seems like a sweet person, I'd love to talk more with her. ORIGINAL: I know a lot of people like her on this site, and probably for good reason. I've never spoken to her and would like to get to know her. She seems nice and fair and I hope that God blesses her.

Castlebee and I may not always agree on politics, but she's an animal lover, and that's a big plus in my book. Also, her reviews generally make a lot of sense.

i have to admit the first comment i made hear was in response to one of castlebees comments that i was not too pleased with. but since then i have read many of her comments and found them funny,strongand with heart.when i first read about the threats made to her i was disgusted at the cowardice of some people who couldn't handle criticism.

I think we buried the hatchet not so long ago. A few weeks ago, she and I had a private, candid conversation. I really had nothing against her and I found many of her posts entertaining. I wish her well and nothing but happiness.

A reviewer who has been on RIA longer than most. She has endured the test of time and has outlasted many naysayers. I wish her the best in all that she does.

Seems smart as a whip and boy what a memory she has!! We are within a couple of years in age and she remembers things in such detail that have long ago left my brain. It makes me wonder if I really was effected by too much Marijuana in the 70's! LOL! We see most things eye to eye with a couple of big differences, But I can see why she rates so high other than having some real time on the site. I read a listing of hers that almost repeated my thoughts on the 'ins and outs' of gaining popularity on the site. Ill be paying more attention to her in the future.

Smart woman, funny. At first when I was getting used to this site and all the different people, I'd get her mixed up with irishgit, same sort of personalities it seems.I don't always agree in fact, might agree less than 50%, but always well based reviews and opinions, easy to respect.

Excellent reviewer and a nice person. She takes no crap though! Is it still okay to use the term Tough Broad in a complimentery way? One smart woman.

i like her posts. her reviews are clear and fair. she gives her opinion without being way too harsh or way too sweet

I had a hard time with this. How can I give a five to somebody who once suggested that I be put in a straight jacket? I guess she is just that good, so accusations of insanity aside, I must be truthful here. This is one of the most consistantly good reveiwers among us and we would all to well to be more like the Bee.

You gotta respect the prolificity and insightfulness of The Bee.

Recently I've really begun to appreciate CastleBee's posts- of the many she has made. When I first came to RIA I found her positions to be somewhat watered down on occasion. Lately she's been a lot more to the point and fun to read. See her latest posts on George Bush.

Although I've disagreed with her at times, her comments are always honest and intelligent. She knows what she's talking about and isn't afraid to tell people what she thinks. She comes off as mature and well-informed; not too many people can complain about someone like that.

CastleBee writes well and her reviews are often quite insightful even when my opinion differs from hers.

Even Though I just joined RIA i've been reading posts from other people for a long time and I must say CastleBee it the Best of the Best. She isn't lazy and writes full descriptions on why she did or didn't like certan things. Overall I did disagree with her severall times I still enjoy reading her posts.

One of the very first reviews I read when I came to RIA was Castlebee's. She doesn't suffer fools gladly and will happily point out an incompetent if she sees one. With her worldly knowledge, great sense of humour and a kind heart to boot her reviews are way above average and every single last one informative, honest and well-written.

Very nice and polite, and she's given me good suggestions for weblists. Unfailingly informative and a great writer.

From what I've seen, she's one honey of a bee, but watch out for that stinger! Luckily I've not been on the receiving end...yet. Somehow I wasn't surprised to learn CastleBee is an Indiana girl. Considering I spent more years of my life there than anywhere else, I ought to know that state and its people. She exemplifies Indiana and the type of wit and wisdom found there. She also has a great user name. It is very evocative of a Queen Bee (though that was not her intention when she chose the name, that is what she has become on RIA through her diligence and down to earth wisdom).

UPDATE: I don't have anything really different to update on CastleBee. She is still a really good reviewer and obviously has her opinions like everyone else. I don't know her that well, but that is ok. I still enjoy reading her comments and probably always will. She has made a big impact on this website, and will always be a huge part of its history. Many people seem to look up to her, and for good reason......

She seems like she is a very interresting and smart reviewer her.

A dash of humor with a large dose of logic and common sense presented in a well written manner, make her posts a delight to read. She is true to her beliefs and to her heart and even those who have different viewpoints agree that she deserves the title of Queen Bee of RIA.

An excellent, prolific reviewer who expresses herself well. She presents balanced views, although I have seen a couple of her posts that reflect some serious agitation on her part (but I agree with her views in those cases). I also like many of her lists.

She's sweet and a treat and I can't think of another alliterative. Sharp and cool at her best and way better than average when not.

Has a great sense of humour but can be serious.

What can be said about the queen bee of the site? She has been rated the most helpful RIA reviewer, and deserves the title. She is very opininated; and I agree with her on most issues. She is very informative and her comments are always helpful and filled with facts. The site would be nothing without her.

Castlebee is the brightest beacon of wisdom on RIA. Each new comment cements her reputation as RIA's Queen Bee. She seems to display such a positive outlook on life in general, and it shines through in her comments. This is definitely one of the many reasons that she has made it at the top (and amazingly enough, has remained there for so long). Her style of writing is indeed unique. Prolific, gentle and sweet. I am also quite fond of her many comments in which she reflects on her past experiences in life. Learning about the background of a woman who possesses a remarkable amount of wisdom is very enjoyable. Her comments are personable- her kind, gentle heart shines through each and every one of them. And of course, the fact that she is a fellow Eddie Izzard fan automatically gets her five stars from me.

Insightful and intelligent. She likes classic movies and character actors, that gets a thumbs up from me.

And all the crazy people out there who really detest her, there all moronic and full of themselves. I don't think they have any right to insult you the way that they do, if they do, I don't know. I've always enjoyed CastleBee's ratings. They're helpful and at other times funny. I'd also like to point out that Nightbreak is obviously a person using mulitiple identities. Since they only left one comment and it was a stab at a CastleBee.

CastleBee and her strong opinions are very enjoyable. I can agree with her on almost every opinion.

I haven't gotten to message her much, but when I've asked her to add stuff to lists, she's always been very approachable. She seems very down-to-earth. She seems very polite, but firm with her opinions. It's good to see that the person who is considered RIA's top reviewer (in the most helpful list and in most people's opinions in general) is also a nice person.

Once in a while I'll disagree with something she says. But she's a real class act, and she thinks before she writes her comments. If Indiana can produce someone like her, then I feel much more positive than I used to about the state.

You people are so stupid! She tells lies about the Mormon religion! I am a Mormon and I don't appreciate her calling me cultish! Mormonism is the top religion and anyone who disagrees is a loser!

Castlebee is the diamond of reviewers on here and apart from being intelligent and thought provoking, she is a very lovely lady as well. She is indeed our queen bee.

CastleBee seems to have been reborn to the site (as have I) since Lawrence et al expanded RateItAll. She's been top banana around here since I first came aboard, and really is an example to the rest of us. Never does she get into overblown political arguments, which is more that I can say for some people (myself included). Just a likeable writer able to write a clear opinion in just a few words.
