 | Djahuti (57) 02/20/2006 | Driven by one of the great bass riffs in Rock, jazz infused yet funky, with tell it like it is lyrics, this song is one of their best.Unfortunately,it is overplayed and many of their songs that deserve more play get next to none.

One of the truest songs ever written!

 | FranksWildYears (60) 12/09/2005 | A great song for its use of space between the sounds, like the walking bass line that cuts spare guitar chords to make up the early part of the song. As it builds into its noisy second section you are drawn into the greedy descent of the narrator.

 | dpostoskie (7) 12/09/2005 | One of the great sarcastic songs that everybody knows. The register opens and we all know the rest.

 | Jamie McBain (54) 10/18/2005 | Another one of my favorite Pink Floyd songs, the part with the cash register is my favorite, it fits in with the song very well.

 | 80s_gal (0) 08/29/2004 | Like those sound effects with the coins going into the register. It's great that the classic rock stations haven't censored the bs word (and I hope they never will).

 | RebelYell1861 (10) 07/22/2003 | This is truly a great song. The solos are amazing. And take out the frequent sax parts and they would be even better. It's also interesting how the cash register chu-chings right as Dorothy turn the door knob when you watch The Wizard of Oz with it.....wild stuff. Actually that was pretty much the biggest (or most noticeable) coincidence between watching the movie with that cd.

 | ellajedlicka21 (6) 07/18/2003 | Not one of my favorite Pink Floyd songs, though it does have a great message about the greed that's instilled by society's standards.
