The most ethical and for a good reason. Being a national hero, he was asked by so many to run for the presidency. He was elected and re-elected by an overwhelming majority. He was trusted by so many and refused many titles and entiltlements that were brught to him. He had so much that he had really nothing but noteriety to gain, and yet he even already had plenty of that.

Mr. Washington is the father of our great nation. He led our soldiers during the Revolutionary War, presided over the Constitutional Convention and served as President for eight years. Any man as dedicated to the cause of liberty as he deserves four stars. In 1789, he reluctantly accepted the Presidency, but in truth, he just wanted to retire to his Virginia farm, Mount Vernon. He declined serving a third term, thus setting an important precedent not broken until Roosevelt. He could have easily been King, but he choose to simply become Citizen Washington for the last few years of his life. The only fault I see here is that he, like most men of his time, owned many slaves. Washington was perhaps the only man, had he addressed slavery sooner, who could have prevented the bloody Civil War over sixty years later.
