Just to say briefly...we absolutely love this phone. It fits so well in my purse, my hubby wears it on his belt. It is easy to use. It is rugged. We upgraded from Razrs and are thrilled. Best phone we have owned yet, and we have had quite a few!

Ever since I picked out this phone and ordered it, I have been waiting to love it. And I do! This is my first texting phone and it has been very easy to use the QWERTY keyboard. I like the way it anticipates what you're going to type to help you finish the words, and it seems to remember words and phrases I've used before very well. It feels good in my hands, as others have said, a nice weight...it doesn't feel cheap. The reception on phone calls has been great...no complaints so far. I had some trouble setting up my voicemail, but AT&T; suppport was great. They called me on my home phone and listened via speaker phone to the prompts I was getting on my mobile. They had me turn off my cell so they could tweak something in the system, and even called back a few minutes later to make sure the problem was fixed. I haven't used the music player much yet, but it sounds pretty good, and I can keep listening to songs while I text. As others have mentioned, the camera is not the grea... Read more

After extensive comparisons of cell phones that are excellent "phones" first and good at texting second, I chose the Motorola Karma. I didn't want a phone with a $30/month data plan because I'm always near a computer when I need one. So I'm using the Karma primarily as a phone with the addition of an unlimited text plan. I've had the phone for two weeks, so these are just my first impressions. (1) Call quality is excellent. I even hear my Mom, who's calling from an awful Samsung phone, clearly and she no longer asks me to repeat what I'm saying like I did with my old Nokia 6820 (which did have pretty good call quality). My friends remark that I sound like I'm calling from a landline, even when I'm walking on a busy street. (2) Call talk time is good. I've talked for nearly 3 hours between charges and still had juice left in the battery. Overall, I'm charging my phone about once every 4 days and I'm burning about 900 minutes/month. (3) Camera is decent. While it's not nearly ... Read more

I have only had this phone for a couple of days but so far it is great. The learning curve was not bad and I love the features and call quality. I only have 2 minor issues with this phone. First is that the button to disconnect a call is on the front and can push against your face so if you are not careful, you might disconnect a call. This happened only once and now that I know it is possible I just make sure to hold it at an angle away from my face. The other quibble is that after I set up my hotmail account on the phone, it would randomly tell me I had a new message even if I didn't! Also, this alert would come on even if I was in the middle of doing something else like entering an appointment on the calender which erased all the information I had already entered up to that point! Not sure how to turn off this alert other than deleting my hotmail setup from the phone. Still, since I mainly use it for calls, it works great and the full keyboard makes texting and internet ... I Love the Karma QA1, I was whining alot because my granddaughter dropped my Razr V9 and the case broke at the hindge and they are not available anymore, except from a private source. I started looking and the Karma caught my eye. After reading the reviews and looking at it in the store I finally ordered it on Amazonwireless. It is the best phone, very easy to use, very fast connectivity, fun details and easy texting.Love the big screen. I ordered the red rubberized case and everyone wants to see it. You will not be disappointed in the phone for simplicity, good looks and especially user friendly, 10 stars
