This "dude" was really funny. But, unfortunatly, he did something that screwed him. My favorite line though is "Dude, you're getting a Dell"

The tried and true method of of using a moron to hawk a product. Sale figures have proven here and elswhere that it works. Why is beyond me but is almost certainly related to the dumbing down of america.

Love the Dell Dude. Unfortunately for him (and Dell), he was busted trying to buy pot from an undercover agent in NYC... raising the question, how can a mini celebrity like this guy not have a trusted source?

About The Dell Dude (Dell computers)

Steve the Dell Dude, real name Ben Curtis, first appeared in commercials for the computer maker in 2000. Market share for Dell grew so strongly the character remained to do many more commercials until arrested for marijuana possession in late 2003.
