 | Rock1234 (8) 07/09/2008 | I always thought they were musicially superior to a lot of the other hair bands.

 | OceanSoul (10) 05/14/2008 | The Dokken material was formulaic, it could just as easily have been done by Ratt or Skid Row. Lynch's guitar leads are the only thing interesting about their music. Like most bands of their style the vocal's were weak, I can hear songs like Into the Fire and think: this would be okay if the singing was better.

 | ILikePie (54) 08/04/2007 | I've grown inexplicably attached to Dokken. Their Winger-esque 'cock rock' vocals mixed with the brilliant riffs of George Lynch (and for a short time Reb Beach) makes for some excellent music. They have some really catchy numbers, although Dokken aren't a band I'd care to admit to liking too loudly. It is lucky that most of my friends (I'm only 16) are ignorant in the ways of the guitar, so have not heard of Dokken...

 | leftfinger (2) 05/01/2006 | I give 'em three stars only because of George Lynch who's a great player.

 | Gromit (2) 04/06/2006 | 'oscargamble-whateverhisname is' below is a complete clueless MORON! 'Dream Warriors' was their gimmicky movie release. You can't judge this band by that release alone! Almost everything else DOKKEN released in the 'heyday' of hard rock/metal was PHENOMENAL! They had it ALL. Great vocals, looks, hooks... you name it! George Lynch was one of the most incredible, lyrical, technical, and melodic guitar players to ever grace the metal genre! Dokken made great music when metal was KING!

 | oscargamblesfro (82) 03/11/2006 | Abysmal 80's hair band/ pop-metal, best remembered for the Nightmare on Elm St. theme song, (I think the 3rd film) the one that went "We're the dream warriors..." The song is far more likely to give you a terrible nightmare than Freddy Krueger will.
