Hello Seeingclearly, You are spot-on with your analysis. I am VERY sure we probably know each other, as I have been attending CFC since the late 80's. Being in the "inner circle" is far worse...trust me.

Casey Treat and his family tithe LESS Than 10 percent. Casey Treat does NOT have a Real Church. Casey does NOT allow Christian Faith Center to be run by Real Church Elders. Casey and his wife control EVERYTHING at Christian Faith Center. Casey has a Talk(like Satan) but Not the Walk of Jesus Christ. Casey how did Jesus travel? How did Jesus live? Where did Jesus live? What did Jesus eat? Who did Jesus call Friend? Casey Treat the wages of sin is Death(that is what you can expect as your salary for serving Sin). Casey Treat you was ordained a Preacher(when you was NOT Qualified) by the father of your wife (that is wrong). Casey you do not have time to Fellowship one on one with people (Jesus was NOT like that). The one who really betrayed Jesus was the one who always controlled the money. Casey Treat you control the Money at Christian Faith Center and you are always Betraying Jesus Christ. The REAL Church is the BODY of Christ(those who Believe in Jesus Christ as their Savior). I heard he was a good writer and wrote a book called "The Three Essentials: All You Need For Success in Life". Does anyone know what this book is about? Is it just another Prosperity Gospel promoting sowing a seed for a harvest of blessing and the usual, not sowing will result in your proverty? If it is I will have to pass on it. I'm done with the Gospel of Prosperity and so is my bank account. I confess to being snared by it but in my defense I was a new Christian and baby in the Lord.

My family and I have currently left CFC after being members for over a decade. My experience is somewhat unusual. I have a degree in Pastoral Ministries and am currently pursuing a Masters of Divinity degree at a local seminary (which is why I decided to leave and will explain more in detail below). After moving to Washington after finishing my BA my wife and I thought CFC would be a good place for us to be involved in the Ministry, given that it is large and should have several opportunities for ministry. We could not have been more wrong. From the outset we were told we would never become a staff member there unless we enrolled in the certification program at Dominion College (now called Vision College). Even after explaining we had received a BA in Pastoral Ministries with credentials they insisted we enroll in Dominion College (All of the current pastors on staff are either old chums of Casey's or have attended his college alone). After spending thousands of dollars to go t... Read more

I have been at Casey and Wendy's church for 21 years, been an active volunteer, and now am a deacon. It's taken a terribly long time for me to see the truth of this "ministry" because of the intense "brain washing" that Casey is right and everyone else is wrong! I have heard him say many times, "You may disagree with me BUT when we get to heaven you’ll see that I am right!” It’s said kind of like a joke but after hearing it numerous times it dawned on me that he really believes this! Casey truly believes that he is better that most everybody. He cares not for his “flock”, feeding on them rather than shepherding them. A couple of months ago he was talking about how he would receive great reward in heaven for his work, “…vast fields of wheat, “ he said. Then he began to mock us, “Some of you we’re gonna have to put in government housing!” He laughed. Then he said it again, in a different way. He was happy because he’s got his! “Sucks for you!” This is his attitude towards his own flock?... Read more

I am a catholic and I attended cfc in support of my bf who is Christian. But I was disgusted at how much Casey treat made such a big deal about giving money to the church I have never been to a church that spent atleast 30 min talking about giving money! Secondly Casey treat bashed Catholic traditions n beliefs its funny because we believe in the same god just a different practice. He would also constantly bashed gays etc. And It seemed like he was preaching 70% of his opinion and 30% of the bible. It's sad to see so many people brainwashed by this man when it's clear he is about money and he teaches to hate everything outside of their Christian circle but when u think about it we are all gods people and god doesn't teach us to hate bcuz of differences. I have been a member of CFC for 4 years and I just recently left. First off, I am a believer in the word, and that includes the 10% so tithing is not an issue for me, I would expect that. And I do not believe that Gods wants us poor, all throughout the bible God blesses people with MORE than what they need. Huge farms of animals and more land than the eye can see, he would not do that if staying poor was a must to follow him. That would make him a hypocrite and trying to set us up to fail, it is impossible for him to do either. They do work hard, and sell a lot of books etc, which is where they make a great deal of their money. And there is nothing wrong with that. The fact that they want to have a helicopter, to be there in person to each service, shows their dedication to their congregation, and I don't have a problem with that either. Where the problem is for me is the focus on money. After praise and worship, he spends 1/2 of what is left of each sermon talking about money. L... Read more

Saw a Larry King rerun of that comedian who is a George W Bush look a like. He was very comical. Was this in-fact the real Casey Treat? He is a gifted Speaker and came to speak at my Church. He was okay but obviously not Jesus. I met him in person too and he was really quite gracious. He has helped bring hope and comfort to a lot of people. As God's representative on earth he will have to answer to God if he is representing God in a negative manner and that alone is enough to make me shudder.

Casey Treat's reply was, "Don't bother me, I am not at work now". Enough said. Clearly Casey does not have any people skills or tact in my opinion.

I seem to recall the opening of his "business" in Federal Way. Yeah, business. I remember watching the Channel 4 news coverage, and tour of the new Christian Faith Center (Business). One of the first things out of Casey's mouth was "Remeber, God said to tithe 10% to the church!" Casey, along with all his fellow businessmen like, Rober Schuller (Crystal Cathedral), Jim Baker, Jesse Jackson, Louis Farrakan, and the rest, are just that, businessmen, very suave ones at that. I think each, and every church in the United States should pay the same taxes as all the other businesses. 2 Russians I work with started thier own church, and they brag about how they claim thier house on thier taxes. Religon is Bull, it is a scam, and those of you that attend the Christian Faith Center, I have a bridge in Brooklyn, and sever acres of Florida real estate I would like to sell you sight unseen for a great price!!! Casey Treat is ALL ABOUT THE MONEY! Wake up people! Don't waste your cash on this charlatan anymore! Fuck his chartered helicopters and fuck his flagrantly flaunted lifestyle that he so blatantly displays! He is laughing all the way to the bank and he is laughing AT YOU (his congregation)! STOP GIVING CASEY TREAT YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY!!! Washington state should be ashamed for producing such a person! CASEY TREAT IS "AS FULL OF SHIT AS A CHRISTMAS TURKEY"! Casey has street smarts learned on the mean streets of Tacoma while he was a heroin/crack/meth junkie So he found God and now wants to save the masses from themselves. In a Christian foundation that means he gets $ from the congregation. It doesnt matter that some of us realize he's full of shit. The poor confused fools looking for direction in life only hear Casey' 'positive message' of God's word. Casey Treat is as PHONY and as ARROGANT as can be! I was watching the broadcast on Daystar and was very bothered by something. Pastor Treat was preaching about "putting away filthiness" and in the same sermon said, "dang-it". I found this very disheartening, offensive and contradictory to the point he was trying to make. At no time should profanity be used by a Christian, much less by a pastor from behind, or in front of the pulpit. Please don't disregard this!!! It is this type of behavior that causes people to make statements about Christians, especially preachers, talking out of "both sides of their mouths".   I pray that my comments are taken to heart. This isn't a "bashing", just thought you might be interested in knowing the opinion of a fellow Christian. May God richly bless you and your ministry.   Thank You

I 'am a evangelical christian who feels there is a need to clairify the actions of various preachers not withstanding Casey Treat and Jim Baker without excuses for their periodic scew-ups or perceived screw -ups. Casey has seemingly come 3/4 circle (needs work) but as a relatively late bloomer in Christ it's easy to find his personna, preaching skills and style open for criticism. Some preachers like my own have a special gift when re- questing money for example (many believe the hardest thing to discuss outside of pushing a doctrine that might inflame folks). Anyway, the guy was messed up in his younger days and as he matures in the word promises to be a great man of God. Remember MAN will disappoint hellllooo! Jim Baker along with the his great and wife Lori and their five adopted wonderful kids (one for every aborted child when Lori was in the gutter) have been in- stramental in colaborating a spirit filled contractor (Jim has a limited resourses and cannot own the complex they... My friend and her daughter attended Casey and Wendy's church in the South Everett/Mill Creek area. They were saddened to hear Casey brainwashing his congregation about gay people. Casey went overboard "preaching" that Sigfried and Roy deserved to be attacked by their tiger. What happened to christian love and understanding? Isn't Casey a recovering addict? Makes me wonder who is more filled with hate, Casey and his followers or the terrorists we are fighting in the Middle East.

Not all are welcome at CFC. I have been attending there for several years now and have gotten excellent teachings, but the fellowship is lacking. If Casey does not like you he will ignore you and look right through you as you do not exist. If he does not like what said about him anonymously he wall call you a punk. I consider this to be a Childish response. I have decided to go to another Church and feel that I have been profiled by the Church leadership. I heard that there was one person that was considered different and told to sit in the back of the Church like a second class citizen even though his behavour did not warrant the request.

After watching a show on 7/1/08 I feel that Caset Treat is a bogus, materialistic, loser, all I see in this person is someone that begs for money....nothing more that Jimmy Stewart or the Bakers. When Jesus was on earth, though not even having a place to lay his head, he was here only to teach of God's Kingdom that is coming soon to the earth (Matthew 6 ..hopefully people will stop giving thier money and truely start looking into the Bible themselves and learn the true meaning of the word. In the conclusion of this system of things, the people will be throwing thier money in the streets because it will not bring them salvation. The Treats only want money to spend now before the end comes. Money does NOT bring salvation. Hello people wake up!!! Stop sending your hard earned money to these beggers. Hippocryte just as the pharisees and scribes in Jesus' day. Read the Bible for yourselves people, don't listen to the Treats!!!!

What a great teacher I learn something new that betters my life every single service i attend. I always hear something that i can apply to my life. As for the money Casey and Wendy make, WHO CARES! AND WHAT BUSINESS IS IT OF YOURS ANYWAY? They run the biggest church in the NW complete with schools colleges and much more. They deserve thier every penny. The bible says to tith. Tith means ten percent. vertually every christaian church on the planet says to give your tith and offering including the catholic church. Casey and wendy ask the congregation to tith. Sounds like following the teachings of the bible to me! So they have a huge congregation. Naturally they are going to earn more money. More power to them. Thank you paster Casey and Wendy for all you teach me. Jud Morris Tacoma washington

silent, Casey and Wendy Treat have brought more people to Christ than any other Church in the NW area. Yet you condemn them for not being nice???? I have never personally had a conversation with Casey or Wendy but I have seen them interact with other members of our congregation. They have a congregation of over 10,000 people and growing. Even though I attend every Sunday and Wednesday service along with the Womens Wordshop, I can guarantee to you that they have no idea who I am. It would be foolish of me to feel hurt or disheveled because they do not know my first name. In closing, you don't start a Church and 27 years later have a 10,000 person following by being mean and self centered. Casey and Wendy may be well off but I challenge you to find in the bible where it is said that one must live in poverty to preach the works of our Father. I guess you feel like athletes, lawyers, doctors, engineers etc.. should be making all of the money. I just don't understand people like you. Maybe ... Read more

I am not a member of Casey's church and am not even a christian, but through aquaintances I have met Casey and Wendy several times over the past 10 years. I have had dinner at thier home and have met the Treat family out for dinner as well. With that said, I have no idea about his teachings or much of anything about the church. What I have learned from getting to know them is that they are 2 of the most genuine, integress people I have ever met. They love people. People who claim otherwise are ignorant of thier character and are judging out of thier own ignorance.

Afterall, that is what we are supposed to do as Christians.

I would hope that things would improve from there. Realistically I think that he needs challenge his disconfort and learn to more friendly with the members of his church. Casey needs to stop commenting in public about the people who are unhappy with him and the comments they are making. The more he rises to the top the more visible he will become which will naturally draw more criticism. I guess this is why they call it a test of fire? If Casey is following the Bible and doing what the lord requires, which he is, than the witness will speak for itself. Sometimes the best approach is not to respond and remain silent. It does not matter how hard you try someone will not be happy. You cant please everyone so dont. . A friend of mine who is a retired therapist said just let things go in one ear and out the other and listen to the sound it makes when it hits the wall on the other side.

Casey treat is a wolf in sheep's clothing! I don't need to Judge him, the Bible clearly makes him and all WOF teachers out as heretics, I just want to warn his people. If you preach that Go wants you to be rich, there is a big problem! PS: The bible actually does not say 'Dont Judge' it says, as seen in the below text. Judge in the same manner in which you want to be judged. I want to be judged and rebuked, so I can grow in the lord. judgment is a good thing. Satan is lying to American Christians!

I have been going to Christian Faith Center for 2 1/2 years and I love it. For those who come and want to have a personal relationship with Casey and Wendy are going to be disappointed. They have a congregation of over 10,000 - how can they know 10,000 people very well. Casey and Wendy take questions during their Wednesday night services and I ask all the questions I have on my mind. What impresses me the most about Christian Faith Center is the quality of the staff around them. From the worship leaders to the prayer partners their leadership team is first class. Anytime you go to a big church, if you want to feel plugged in, you have to serve and make your self available to serve. I can assure you there are plenty of places to be involved. I am so thankful for the ministry of Casy and Wendy Treat, they are the real deal.

I have been going to Christaqin Faith Center for a couple of years now. His teachings are good. What I do not like is that he does not mingle with his congregation much and gets annoyed when people confront him on the issue. Casey does not answer his email requests personally and his staff sends canned message to most of the people who contact the church. The staff is friendly, but you will not get a personal touch from Casey himself.

Carrot top brother? Casey Treat, pastor of Seattle's Christian Faith Center, as saying in his tape series Believing in Yourself that we're exact duplicates of God. "I'm an exact duplicate of God! When God looks in the mirror He sees me! When I look in the mirror, I see God! Oh, hallelujah! You know, sometimes people say to me, when they're mad and want to put me down. You just think you're a little god. Thank you! Hallelujah! You got that right! Who'd you think you are, Jesus? Yep!...Are you listening to me? Are you kids running around here acting like gods? Why not? God told me to! Since I'm an exact duplicate of God, I'm going to act like God!"One of WOF's proof texts for them being little gods is Psalms 82:6. If one looks carefully, it is apparent that God is mocking the judges (gods) who had perverted justice. He (God) says, "I say ye are gods, nevertheless, you will die as mere men" (vss. 6 & 7). This is the same proof text the Mormons use to say one can become a god.... Read more

Excellent teacher, If telling us to get an education and or start a business so we can help others rather than having to rely on someone else to help you is prosperity teaching than, your right it is! For those poverty lovers, all I can say is move to one of those places in the world where people live on less than a dollar a day so you can can really wallow in it! He has has written medical records showing that he is cured of a disease that is incurable, so apparently he is more than just talk what he says's works ! As someone is normally sick 3-4 times a year and I haven't been sick in 2 years now and my finances better too so its working for me to! Like Jesus said "how long do we have to put up with you unbelievers"?

I've followed Casey for many years from afar as a view of his shows and a fan of some of his teaching. His teaching is very practical and certainly to the point. Unlike many in the Word of Faith movement, Casey appears to be much more down to earth. After many years of watching him on TV I had the opportunity to meet him during a guest speaking service and he was very kind, more than willing to chat, and came across as very sincere. That being said, anyone aligning themselves with the WOF movement is going to open themselves up to certain criticism . My only significant critique of him is at times he makes doctrinal statments regarding other Christian groups/demoninations that are inaccurate when trying to get his point accross. Such finger pointing and spreading of misinformation is dangerous and unfruitful for Christians everywhere.
