They are rude to callers (especially veterans) and vulgar at times. I emailed them with comments for years with no reply from them. They need to stick to their mediocre comedic talent and stay out of politics. They act more like giggly little girls than real men, laughing at their own lame jokes. If you are reading this A&G, why don't ypu get a real job. Take a hike A&G---just GO AWAY!!!

I love this show. I wake up to it every morning and it's like having wonderful, entertaining friends over. I love hearing the personal elements: marriage, children, friends and families, holidays, vacations, playing thrir music, coaching kids' teams. I just don't know how they find the time and energy for so many activities, in addition to reading and watching and understanding the news of the world every single day! My one complaint: I never received the "Best of..." CD that I ordered last year.

We've been listening to A&G; for over 7 year's now. They make our morning with their banter and sound effects. We also love KSTE, Rancho Cordova, Sacramento and some of the other progams such as Mike McConnell on The Weekend. I was on the radio for 30 years in Redding and recognize Bob Williams, who does news and traffic on KFBK and KSTE as a guy I used to work with. A radio fan forever, BuddHodges

Armstrong & Getty's main strength is that unique element in their show and chemistry that appeals to people of all generations. This includes people younger than them, people older than them, and people about their same age group. If you're ever in a slump thinking you can't get ahead, A&G is a very realistic prescription to overcoming depression and actually making something of your life -- without depending on the government! (And I love their bumpers which they post daily.)

You people with the one star ratings have no sense of humor (especially those who claim to have a great sense of humor) - they are funny and entertaining!

I have given these guys countless opportunities to make me laugh..and not once. I'm a conservative and certainly agree with and appreciate most of their points of view..But informative? Not that I can recall. Entertaining? Not for me.. Low brow "comedy" for the most part...Gratuitous sex talk (often)..They laugh at their own completely unfunny juvenile "jokes" and I think it's Getty that has this high pitched, irritating voice that goes up an octave w/out any warning..I have a great sense of humor, but I'm always wondering who's laughing at this stuff...I always give them SOME time during my commute, but I can't take it...For me, it's terrible radio. That's me.

Accidentally stumbled upon this show one morning a few fateful years ago and have been hooked ever since! I'm a UPS driver, so I download their podcasts everyday before work in my ongoing effort to stay entormed...I'm sure I look like a lunatic driving along laughing to myself! I LOVE THESE GUYS!!! Their brand of intelligent, smart-ass humor is right up my alley!

Very funny, nice balance between NPR,  the far right AM talk show guys and the crazy morning DJ's.   Like a male version of the View but without the bickering.

They are hatemongers and seem totally oblivious of their own racism and nativism. They're a blight on the Radio Landscape. Do the country a favor and don't listen to them.

The day I stumbled upon your show, was the day I became a "Morning Person", for the first time in life. Before your show, I can't think of a news or entertainment program that my 70+ year old parents, my 20 & 26 year old children and myself, enjoyed EQUALLY. Your views on politics, and the many, many topics discussed on your show, have generated for our family so many discussions regarding subjects, that I doubt we would have ever shared, if not for the two of you, Jack Armstrong and Joe Getty. Thank you! It's UNBELIEVABLE, that Channel 58, Sacramento, CA, took your program off the air and replaced it with the same tired format, of repetitive, uninteresting local news, that is cloned on every single channel in the same time slots, Monday - Friday, for hours on end. I truly miss seeing Jack throwing his head back in laughter and seeing the expressions on Joe's face when he's on a roll. The two of you, make one, fantastic team!

Love the show. I listen/watch the show every morning. I appreciate the moderate and practical approach the have to issues today. It is refreshing to have a team that is not extremest and probably is speaking the way most of America feels (not necessarily California, but believe it or not there is a vast country out there that lands pretty much in the middle of the road!). Thanks guys for being there to start our day, with thoughful insite and a smile!

the WB channel 4 cut the Armstrong and getty show and replaced it with lame local news with tool bag anchors. They make me sick with their cutesy pie stories and near whimsical anticdotes.WHY WHY WHY. A&G; enhanced my knowledge of gov. issues and important subjects. Now it's replaced with overpriced flea powder for large dogs and how to clean my junk drawer. WHY WHY WHY lINDA

Jack, Thanks so much for encouraging hatred of Jews! Anti-semitism is already an issue in this country, not to mention worldwide. Your comments about moving the Jews to North Dakota was so ignorant. Obviously you don't know the history of the Middle East. The Jews lived on that land & were the first palestinians: living on a land rich with biblical Judea/Christian history. The nation of Palestinians" was created after 1948 and Yasser Arafat (an Egyptian) was selected by Arab nations as their militant leader in an effort to declare it as Arab land and eradicate the Jews, as they were from the 22 other Arab countries surrounding them. By the way, regarding your "Palestinian" neighbor. The Jews never kicked the muslims out of Israel, or Palestine. Trans-Jordan was created by the Arab nations and THEY told the muslims living in Israel to go there temporarily to wait until the Jews were all massacred, whereupon they could return. If you look at history, you will see that the Jews alwa... Read more

These two men rock the radio. They are a little to the right but they tend to express both sides of our political arena. They are Entertainment, not Media. I love them and I'm a complete liberal. I want them to continue thier show.... I love them.

I live in Berkeley, and got very very sick of progressive pablum after a few years. Shortly before 9/11 I discovered Armstrong & Getty on AM 650 out of Sacramento, and it was like having a lifeline to life in America. For a week after 9/11 I carried my radio around the house trying to get the show to come in clear enough to understand, I am delighted to have them on KNEW 910 now, and it restores my faith that there are at least a few other expatriate Americans living in the People's Republic of Berkeley.

Fantastically entertaining and informative. As a young adult, I've found no better way to immerse myself in the world outside my everyday life, and begin looking at the world I live in. Jack and Joe are two guys that are incredible easy to identify with. Jack is frequently late to work, and almost always clames it's his fault. Joe wants everyone to have digital tracking chips implanted in them. How can you not appreciate these guys.

Hmmm, the best thing about moving to Sacramento from the Bay Area is: a) fresh strawberries in the summer; b) the wonderful, intelligent, family-oriented people; or c) the Armstrong & Getty show. It's a tough call. I love the show! (I suppose if "ur" someone who lives in the pocket and "u" are so sublimely intellectual that you find smart, well-reasoned political discourse to be confusing and scary, "u" might want to listen to another station. But I would recommend tuning in to the show -- "u" might learn something "u"seful.)

I am constantly amazed at the wit and sophistication of these two guys. While Joe is the more cosmopolitan, Jack is the down-to-earth. Their sense of humor is catching. Joe, the devout family man and Jack the party guy ( it seems his marriage is past history, even though the subject never comes up. Its just as well since its nobodys business). I get up every morning at 5:00 am just to listen to their previous days 9:00-10:00 am show. Their ability to cut the Gordian knot and make that days subject matter transparent from dunces to college professors is amazing. They deserve the number 1 rating in their market. Driftyjf

Before they began their show on KSTE -way back when - KSTE had promos talking about 2 new guys in the morning. I thought "Oh, great, another stupid, sophomoric show with two phony guys pretending they are so wild and crazy - and actually not being funny at all." When I first heard the show I couldn't believe it. These guys are so funny and natural and nothing like anyone else on the radio. They are very entertaining and fair minded and - did I mention funny. Just my sense of humor. I am so glad others have discovered them and they are now #1 in the area. I would miss them so much if they were to leave. I try not to miss a show. Love them - you will too! Give them a week to grow on you.

This is a great mix of humor and challenging discussion. For the most part, they show respect and I applaud them for their restraint when they get the nutcase caller that defines a conversation as a verbal discourse in which the one who is catching his/her breath is called the listener. I try to listen to them every morning.

u guys make me laugh. Armstrong and Getty 5 stars??!! I guess if ur an ignorant high school or community college dropout who can't identify Canada on a map u'd like this show. Or if you think supporting our troops is a yellow bumper sticker next to a fish, enjoy thoughtful discussions with rednecks in trailer parks, and believe God talks to Bush, this show's for you! Otherwise, you might consider listening to talk city 1240, if you listen to armstrong and getty though you probably won't be able to catch up.

Infotainment! Jack and Joe are informative, entertaining, funny, and respectable. I love their sense of humor, and if you don't get it, then don't listen, because you will never understand what they are about. I believe that they are both middle of the road with Joe leaning somewhat right and Jack leaning somewhat left. Of course, there are times when Joe leans left and Jack leans right. They remind me of me! I imagine that many of their listeners feel the same way. (I'm a middle child...maybe that has something to do with it...maybe Jack and Joe should take a poll of how many of their listeners are "the middle child.") Love the show, love Jack and Joe.

This show is by far the best! I just moved here from Cleveland and I was looking for a radio station that would tell it like it is! A & G attempt to convince they are a credible and impartial source of news and opinion. However, if you differ with them, especially Joe Getty, he becomes insensed. This indicates a couple of things..., First, Joe Getty is unable to take constructive critizism, and secondly, after everything is said and done, they come across not as champions of the cause....but just plain ole entertainers.

This is the best radio show out there by far! They take a common sense approach to news items and make politics fun to listen to. I have never before had a "can't miss" radio show, but for the past seven years they've been it.
