Working with Coldwell Banker/D'Ann HArper Realty was the worst experience I have ever had! Having worked with many realty properties in my time of renting this was above and beyond the worst. The property was in terrible condition when I moved in, it smelled of smoke there were stains everywhere, the yard was a mess, the fence was falling down, the carpet was ripped away from the wall, etc. Upon moving out we cleaned the house from top to bottom yet were still charged for having left it a mess, we were robbed of our $1575 deposti and asked to pay another $192 for other "damages". The biggest of which was $300 to clean the carpets and a $600 to replace the carpets! You will be ripped off by this company! They are terrible and will take forever to fix any requests of the tenant. I have heard many negative things of their real estate agents as well. Be wary!

I wanted to share some feedback with you relative to our recent home sale on Carriage Circle in Oceanside. Tom and Christy Hazard were referred to us and from day one we felt like we were working with the A Team. On their first visit, Christy made some gentle suggestions about “declutter” and on their second visit they brought the virtual tour photographer. The message was loud and clear that they were here to sell a house! In addition to immediately advertising our house on the internet and in the local newspaper, Tom scheduled two caravans and an open house. For the marketing blitz that we witnessed, even in today’s housing environment, I can’t say that we were entirely surprised that Tom found us a buyer in less than three weeks. Throughout the sales and escrow periods, we talked to Tom every day, called him our “favorite realtor” and benefited from his really solid advice. We could not have been more delighted with a team than this one. In fact, we were so impressed that we asked Tom to sell an investment property for us too. Once again, we witness the same hard work and dedication that we saw during the sale of our primary residence and once again, Tom found us a buyer in less than three weeks. Our sincerest thanks to Tom and Christy.

We had been trying to purchase a short sale property since April from the sales agent Lien Tran with Coldwell Banker. We managed to get an approval letter from Indy Mac in a about 1 1/2 month but was still waiting for BofA to respond with their approval. They finally did respond with a counter offer that we accepted and Lien Tran told our Realtor to proceed with the appraisal and inspection so that the loan would be processed faster as she would be receiving the approval letter from BofA that afternoon. That was 3 weeks ago. We had paid 475.00 for the appraisal and was waiting to do the inspection. Then Lien Tran called our agent telling her that she canceled the contract and when our agent asked her to refund us because she was the one that instructed us to do the appraisal, Lien denied ever saying such a thing. Luckily we hadn't started the inspection yet, but we were out 475.00 and wasted over 3 months working with Lien. I pray that we do not have to deal with this person again. My Realtor believes Lien didn't have the experience to deal with BofA and didn't understand BofA is a bank that you have to be persistent with in order to get a response from this bank. Lucky for us our Realtor, Marybeth Rojas from Realty World-Avant Properties said she would pay for our next appraisal and work more aggressively to find us a new place.

Coldwell banker gave my husband and me the worst experience in getting our first home. They accepted our offer on a Friday towards the end of the day and said that we needed to get all the papers back to them within 24 hours or we lose the house offer. Well obviously we both have jobs otherwise we wouldnt be buying a house and things arent really in operation on the weekends. We couldnt get our lawyer to set up a time on the weekend, the bank had wierd hours, it was a mess. So we told them of the situation and told them we would bring them the papers on Monday.

Monday rolls around and we tried to bring in the papers and my husband forgot to sign somthing. They called and told him that and he said his dad will pick up the papers and bring them to his work so he can sign them and then bring them back. About 30 minutes later they called and my husband answers and they immediatly say "wheres the papers". They didnt even introduce themselves and hes like who is this. They tell him he has to have the papers back by 3 or they will put the house back on the market and were practically yelling at him on the phone. We told them we would bring them back right away. They actually called to threaten him. Nice customer service there. I dont know the last time we have ever been treated so bad. It was like we were annoying them with buying a house. Like they didnt have time for us. Really nice. If it wasnt for people like us buying or selling houses, they wouldnt be in business!

Oh yea and they tried to change the closing date on us. There was a spot there on the documents where the whited out the closing date my husband signed by and changed it. I could be wrong but isnt it illegal to do that without getting a new signature from him. Coldwell sucks! I only put a star becayse they wont allow me to post this without at least 1 star.

I wish I read some reviews before I decide to hired them to manage my property. Very unprofessional, they don't care about their customer, payment are not send on time, I was double charge for services, the agent never can solve any problems, I have to find the client and over that I was charge for it. If you live in Tampa, Florida please find another company. The worst experience.

having worked with these folks and numerous other agencies for over 2 years, on various properties, i can tell you Coldwell are by far the worst to deal with.   They do not return phone calls, are lazy, and one can only hope intentionally as dense as they act.    Without giving names of the people that i worked with, it's shocking that their employees are able to find jobs.

I had read some bad reviews here and at http://www.mortgage-lender-reviews.com and decided to not use them. They are known for poor service.

Hidden fees!!! After working for several weeks to find a property, they hit you with a surprise fee at the time of presenting your offer; 3% isn't enough. You either pay up or walk out and try to find a new brokerage that you can work with; this is difficult when you are hurrying to get the offer to the seller. The tactic feels like bait and switch.

Too corporate. Do not care about their customers. Charge a processing fee for paperwork when listing your property for sale.

If you need your house sold, they are the one to do it. They have great outlets for financing too.
