T&Co is expensive because their jewelry is unique, and has the BEST quality in metal, stones and craftsmanship. I have an Etiole band in platinum with diamonds and a second platinum band with diamonds alternating with blue sapphires; I LOVE both bands!!! I LOVE jewelry and have seen a lot of pieces thru the years.........both my T&Co bands are exquisite! Well made, hefty and substantial pieces, stones top quality, sapphires are cornflower blue (not black), diamonds are bright and have nothing but sparkle......craftesmanship of each band is outstanding. and well priced! U won't find the kind of quality pieces that T&Co has just anywhere; there are many other great designers of top quality jewelery out there and T&Co is right up there with them! T&Co is an investment in quality and beauty! Their pieces can be handed down to the next generation.....and beyond.

I recently got a sterling silver ring from Tiffany's for my birthday and within minutes of wearing the ring it turned my finger green.... yes green. I was so disappointed and confused. I'd never had this problem with sterling silver before and I own a lot a sterling silver pieces. I plan on returning it in the coming days and would like to see what they have to say about the problem. I've read many other reviews online with this same issue. Also I emailed the customer service about the problem and they claim that if I keep wearing the ring, my finger will eventually stop turing green.... that's a little hard for me to believe. I would not recommend their sterling silver jewelry to anyone!! If I want something that's going to turn my finger green, I'll go purchase something cheap.

I bought a brand new Tiffany's "blue box" charm http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...AAAAAIH5_Q.j pg from the T&Co store in Perth about 4 months ago and after about 1 month of wearing it on my charm bracelet, the top of the box (between the bow) turned black with black bumps. I took it back to the store and they said that its "oxidisation" and it happens with sterling silver. They ended up cleaning it and scratching the **** out of it and ended up replacing it for me. After another month of having the charm the silver around the top of the box began to turn black again and as I was putting my bracelet in to have another charm soldered on, I asked them to clean it for me. The lady was very rude and said, "we normally charge you for that" and I said i've never been charged for it and the charm has been replaced and only after a month it has turned black again. She said again that its oxidisation and that will happen with sterling silver. When i got it back I asked teh lady what happe... Read more

I have purchased numerous items from Tiffany over the past 20 years. I will never order from them again! I ordered a pair of earrings for my daughter on Sunday to ship by 2nd day UPS. This was her Christmas gift. By Friday, I still had not received the order. I called and was told that they had not shipped - Tiffany & Co. was backed up due to the Christmas holiday. I never received an e-mail from them mentioning any of this. So now, I have nothing to give my daughter - and the company really couldn't care less.

I recently purchased my girlfriend a heart tag necklace with the inscription reading "Please Return to Tiffany and Co New York" for Christmas. I guess in the spirit of the holiday they upgraded my delivery to UPS second day air for free. The item arrived a week early and as described. Needless to say I am extremely satisfied. It is a beautiful necklace, so if anyone who works at Tiffanys isreading...thanks for the help!

I have been a fan of Tiffany & co. since i received a necklace and an Elissa Peretti charm bracelet for my 21st birthday. Now 24, i have started adding to my charm braclet. my boyfriend kindly bought me the little blue box charm in sterling silver for my birthday in october. by the time i had it put on it was november. the charm lasted until mid december before it started decomposing. yes, decomposing! the ceramic box has started cracking and peeling and has become discoloured. i decided to take the bracelet off unltil i could have the rotting charm removed. i contacted Tiffany's via email, it took them nearly 3 weeks to reply. as u can imagine, im not too impressed. when they did reply, it was a standard email saying send it back. But what about the money ive spent getting a jeweler to add and remove this crap charm!? now i'm going to have to pay to post it back 2 them for i charm im not sure i even want anymore! DISAPPOINTED. Rant over.

Geez what user names on this site aren't already in use? I eventually was tired of being told the user name I requested was already in use so I let my fingers dance and came up with this snappy, easy to remember name. I bought the Tiffany bead bracelet in silver from tiffany.com. For anyone who is considering this item there are a few things to be aware of. It was $175.00 plus tax and standard shipping was $15.00. It arrived and I tried it on. I was absolutely disappointed! The reasons being because when I put the bracelet on my wrist the beads slid and there was this huge gap as if a bead was missing when it was not. Because of the gap you could see the chain which strings the beads on the bracelet=not a pretty look in my opinion. I'd much rather not see the chain underneath at all. The clasp was not long enough on the bottom and this prevented the catch from being secure. I was afraid that I'd eventually lose the bracelet because of this. The clasp was also very hard to work. The ... Read more

I ordered a diamond and sapphire ring there, and what I got was disappointing; not nearly as nice as the one in the case that I based my decision from (they could not size it, so had to order the same "model" from NY). I got a refund. Honestly, while in possession of the ring we compared its quality to other similar rings at other stores. The Tiffany sapphires were noticably poorer quality by comparison, very dull, irregular cut on some, and the coloration was not the same as what we first saw and asked for. It still shocks me to say it, but the ring looked like a cheap plastic ring. We saw rings elsewhere at 1/5th the price that looked much better, and had better stones. At least they were nice about the refund process, but I went to Tiffany's because I thought the premium you pay was insurance this kind of thing doesn't happen. Look closely, do your homework and ask to view the stones under a lupe, and if ordering a ring not in stock, make sure they are taking into account the stone ... Read more

Tiffany & CO. is well-known all over the world for its simple and classic style. We bought our wedding bands in Beverly Hills and it was a very pleasant experience to own the work-of-art jewelries. You'll get your money's worth.

Beautiful jewelry yes, but very pricey. I do have a few of their sterling silver pieces, but that is about all I can afford!

I am a former employee of Tiffany & Co. Just to answer your question of why Tiffany sterling silver is so expensive, well, yes you're paying for the designer name, but they've earned that name. Honestly, Tiffany has outstanding craftmanship and quality. Just compare it to any other piece of sterling silver jewelery and you will see the difference. You will see this excellent craftsmanship in everything they manufacture...from their sterling silver, to their crystal, to their engagement rings. I hope that one day I will get an engagement ring from Tiffany! And just for your info, Tiffany & Co set the standard for sterling silver (925 parts pure silver and 75 parts copper) that is now used worldwide.

Allthough I don't own any jewlery from Tiffany's, I would LOVE to! I get their catalogs just to dream, it's beautiful. And who wouldn't love to have a nice 2 carat ring from there?

Tiffany's is the greatest jewellary store ever, a lil expensive for us people who live in igloo's and cant even afford to move down south to warmer climates. I'd love to eat breakfast there though, dontcha know...pastries and coffee, just like audrey hepburn....Yummmm...ya know, it can really pick ya up down at tiffany's at 6 am, it can really take all of your cares away...just ask holly golightly
