Tom does nothing but stir the pot of racism within blacks and whites. People like Tom use racism to only further their popularity for selfish gain, while not caring at all about the enormous destruction they do from creating more fuel for the fire. I'd love to see a white show come out to copy his exact show and format, but doing the opposite with a one-day delay as an experiment and see how long it lasts before people protest. Entertainment at the cost of others is really not entertainment. It just proves he has no real material of his own. Get a real job Tom!

I live in Washington D.C. and unfortunately my mom puts on his show in the morning (majic 102.3) On top of the music sucking balls, Tom Joyner is annoying and only talks about 2 things. 1. Race and 2. politics. It's the same every morning, and Tom Joyner can't help but be biased towards Blacks in stories. He seems to dislkie White people and his assistant, Cybil, is so sexist. She never listens to men, but when a woman says the sme things he said, she agrees. What the f***, Cybil? I don't like people like them. I always ask my mom why she puts on this crappy station, and she says that the morning show is funny. Believe me, it isn't.

I agree with what someone said above...if there was a radio show hosted by white DJs that talked about black people the way TJ talks about white people, they'd be fired and never to have another radio talk show job again.

Tom is the person most in touch with the group of people he serves. He is one of the best entertainers on radio. Unfortunately he allows his show to re-enforce negative stereotypes and he doesn't show real leadership in solving the problems the black community faces. That may not be his job, but being as high profile as he is and being one of the very few black entertainers on radio, there is a certain degree of responsibility he holds to steer his audience in a positive direction.

The TJ-morning shows is one of the best! You can't help but laugh and want to be in the studio. Many of Tom's topics bring it home too and TJ is right on target (as a white guy it sensitizes me to some the the import black issues past and present)...BUT, and this is a big BUT, Tom sometimes tilts the world as if Black America has been sold out completely, especially by President Bush. I don't believe that. Sure, most paople now can only agree with the President's actions to about 30%, but hell yes President Bush should visit Tuskegee Alabama University!!!, even if it cost 2 Million to get there! Even Tom thought for a second on his show weather he should praise the visit or not and then went on to talk about the cost to get there as a big nedative. If it would have been President Clinton, it would surely be a different issue. That's where I draw the line. Tuskegee is important. Period. Accept it! It is a must do for a President; be proud of that....And as for McDonalds ( I eat there o... Read more

great show...sort of gives African Americans a national call in show which is good since conservatives have plenty. it isn't ashamed to represent a black point of view.

Racist. If people on non-black morning shows talked about blacks the way these people do whites, they'd be fired.

The Tom Joyner show is both hilarious and very informative. Tom has probably done more good things in the Black community on a regular basis than any entertainer. The show is fresh and his sidekicks offer a different dimension to the show. The soap opera It's Your World is extremely well done and very funny. Tavis Smiley adds another viewpoint and is an essential element to the show.

One of the most influential yet dangerous of the talkshow hosts. Listeners accept what he says as gospel without any examination at all. I heard a professional repeating, as fact, Tom Joyners assertion that golf was introduced to America by a black man. (don't tell the Scots).

Tom Joyner is likable and has done a lot of great things for the community, but the show has become stale and a lot of the jokes and shtick are tired (Jay likes white women, Sybil has a weave, Miss Dupree likes to gamble...okay we get it already). Only parts of the show still worth listening to are the radio soap opera It's Your World, and Tavis Smiley's twice-weekly commentary.

I really enjoy Tom Joyner's show. He plays a lot of good old school 70's music and he is pretty funny. Of course having Jay Anthony Brown, Cybil and Myra Jay on the show is an added bonus.
