Nationalwide Furniture

I live in the subarbs of detriot. i found that this company gave me a good deal.The manager gave me free delivery.In todays economy who gives free delivery.

I Purchase a kitchen set from Nationalwide on Gratiot also. first they gave my daughter the wrong set with two different set of chairs. The store manager came out. We show him what we were given. He promise that he would fix the problem. They gave us a cheaper set, And told us this was the one we purchase which it was not.

I bought my son a bedrrom set from there and it literally began to fall apart!!
When i tried to fix it, i noticed the furniture was stapled and glued together. Not only tht, i don't even think its real wood. I hope no one else get fooled into buying there crap, the city of Detroit needs to run them out of buissness!! From now on i'll be reviewing reviews when spending large amounts of cash.

They are horrible and decietful. I went in to purchase a sectional and was told this is the last one you should place in lay away today. So I did because I really wanted this particular peice. I missed one payment and when I returned to pay the furniture off completely I was told that they had sold my furniture and I could not get my money back even though they no longer had my sectional i could only recieve a store credit! So my advice is if you see something you like purchase it right then and there dont mess with their lay away!

I purchased a mattress from Nationalwide Furniture that was supposed to be brand new, super firm and find that it is refurbished. I would have done better by purchashing one off of a street vendor at least Ithey tell you that there's are not new. Each time I try to sit or lay on it I'm sliding into what feels like a sinkhole.

Noone in their right mind would pay almost $700.00 (plus delivery charges) for a used mattress but this is what I have received. I have tried to resolve this issue with the manager to no avail. He wants to keep charging me a pick-up and delivery fee for defective merchandise. I have paid for the delivery and then had to pay again for him to pick-up and send out another defective mattress.

To all who purchase anything from this particular store either make sure you pick up your own merchandise and inspect it throughly or have them put in explicit writing what you are receiving, stipulating whether it is Brand New or Refurburshied.

I am totally disappointed and will not refer anyone for anythinig from this particular store.
