He has got to be THE worst actor that ever lived. I don't find him the least bit talented or attractive. If his mommy & daddy weren't loaded, he'd be another bum on the street you spit on. yes.colin is a cocky irish bastard..that one reason I love him .but he is also a talented actor...has some nice dimension to his parts..handsome as heck.......and I LOVE his manly eyebrows....leave them be sweetheart....I'll lick em clean..he not need to take a bath!

I agree with edt4's general assessment but I think he has more range than he's generally given credit for. He played an interesting, multi-dimentional character in the little known movie 'A home At The End Of The World.' I think there's talent there.

Before he became well-known, I remember him on the Irish soap-opera "Ballykissangel" (I think his character's name was Danny and he rode horses a lot). It was an enjoyable show, but I don't remember thinking he was any more exceptional than any of the other cast members when it was on TV. He obviously has a sexual charisma that the ladies (and some men, I guess) find appealing, but I'm not sure he really qualifies as a "good" actor, much less a great one. In fairness to him, I haven't seen many of his movies (in truth, I only saw him in the one where he was trapped in the phone booth getting shot at), and I don't dislike him, but my guess is that once he gets past his youthful "pretty-boy" stage, he won't show much longevity as an actor. Although, as he gathers acting experience, I suppose in time I could be proved wrong.

The only thing that comes to my mind when I think of Colin Farrell: He is good looking. But I never actually thought about his acting skills. He acts, but that is all I think about him. He didn't disappoint me but he never blew me away either.

He's blessed in so many ways...talented, handsome, beautiful personality, charismatic. No way he deserves the Worst actor nomination. How could he be worst when he ain't even bad?

Besides his rough around the edges look and personality that would have you father thinking he is a great guy and you mother loving him, what makes him is his ability to adapt to each of his characters. The fact he pulls off his american accent so well makes him as well! I agree with the comment made that he should act with his normal accent! I think in time he will grow as an actor as he is still young. He is one of my favourites not only for his looks (which are hot) but his ability as an actor

He was good in Phone Booth and Hart's War. He seems like a fun guy, he's always hugging someone in pictures or has a drink in his hand. He would look better if he had his eyebrows waxed.

I just don't GET this guy. He's not especially talented, and he's only considered good-looking because he's Irish. I guarantee if he were American most people wouldn't give him a dime on the street, which is where he'd presumably be living. I mean, he's above average in looks, but there are tons of actors out there who are handsomer. American women are just suckers for a roguish Irish lad, I suppose.

This is my favorite actor. Forget about the goodlooks, he is a talented actor. Tigerland is an amazing overlooked movie. I would have never guessed he was Irish after watching this film. While I thought Phonebooth was kind of boring, I was amazed at Colin's ability to portray so many different believable emotions, in such a short period of time. This guy is going to be huge and it doesn't hurt that he is truly amazing looking.

I think Colin Farrell is a good actor, w/ room 2 grow, he is still young enough to improve his acting abilities. As for the way he looks, he just cant help it....He's Irish for goodness sake! The accent helps alot also, I mean realy, what woman can resist a man with an accent and great smile? (i.e. American Outlaw.....Great smile, how can you say no to that? :) Ofcourse....Thats just my opinion.....
