After being voted Best in The Springs by the Independent I decided to give them a try -what a mistake! I first tried the south location, the wait was very long just wasn't enough doctors to handle the all customers.  After that experience, I decided to give the Abba center off of N. Powers a try, it was smaller and I figured they  wouldn't be as busy, I was right the wait there was OK. What got me though, was the customer service, they were so rude... And it happened on two separate occasions.        The first time, I went in there for contacts, I was going on vacation and I needed to get a fresh pair. Being that I am a stay at home mom of 4 very well behaved kids, (I'm not just saying that) ages 10, 7, 3, 2 I had to bring them with me. My kids sat down, quietly, patiently waiting, the 2 younger ones I had in my double stroller just to keep them contained who BTW were also very well behaved. The doctor comes into my room and in a very condescending tone asks  "do you always bring your ... Read more

A friend of mine recommended Abba Eye Care to me so I decided to try it out (Barnes+Powers location because its right down the street from my house). I've been wearing glasses since high school (I won't say how long that is because I don't want to give my age away) and I normally go to places that can get glasses done in an hour because i'm impatient. I gave them a call and asked them if they took my insurance and the girl that answered the phone took the time to look it up for me. I have Kaiser so she informed me that they don't take my medical, but they do take my vision. I booked the appointment for later that week. I went in that day with my friend to browse the selection and I was amazed! They have so many choices from top line designers to quite affordable. The girl that I had scheduled my appointment with recognized me and helped me and my friend pick a frame for me that was cute and she also checked it before to make sure it would be a good fit (I've never had anyone do that be... Abba has a store on 4319 Integrity Center Point in Colorado Springs. How ironic! I asked over the phone if they accepted blahblah card. The lady said yes, they do accept blahblah card. So I made an appointment for the next day. I was all excited about getting new glasses since hadn't for a bunch of years. The next day I got dressed and ready to go to my appointment. I interrupted my math instruction with my boy. I drove over to the 4319 Integrity Center Point to have my eyes exam. And so the stupid, moronic, moral retard behind the desk has the coldness to tell me to my face that they did not accept the card and that they just made the appointment so that they could see the blahblah card; apparently it was her boss' idea. That is what I call being centered and having integrity. I encourage everyone to not support this merchant. They use people. Using people is the essence of immorality.

Great DR & staff ... ALL Locations are small and the selection of glasses are very limited. I stuck with them for 7 years (too long) and I am now moving on!!!! GET A WIDER VARIETY OF GLASSES... I have seen the same pairs in the offices for years..... TOTALLY DONE WITH ABBA!!!! ~*~*~*~ UNHAPPY-J
