I was off to San Diego the other day....got back on Essentravel.com again and found the Pacific Terrace Hotel....a bit pricey but I said what the heck. The hotel was really good, clean rooms, quiet, and the staff was terrific. I recommend it and would go back again!!

I had a stopover in NYC the other day....and Ive always wanted to try the waldorf astoria. Not the presidential suite of course but a decent room. So I got on Essentravel.com and found a reasonable rate, and I must say, its an impressive hotel. I thought I was in france, the sistene chapel, it was grand!! And the rooms were really opulent, all kinds of great stuff.


Its a rare indulgence, especially in these financial times, but if you want luxury, check out the waldorf.
