Expanded user pages: photos, descriptions, etc.

I need some help! I just went on my user page to update it. I changed the picture I wanted to be with my name. It is now of a dog surrounded by flowers. It looked like it took on my user page because my former picture is gone. Problem is when I rated a couple things. My old usual picture is showing up. I thought it went through. Now what do I do?

I used to mock the idea, but I like putting videos on my page to make you all laugh...

Other than reading comments from a particular user, it allows us to view profiles in order to get a better understanding of the people we follow on the site.

I like this feature. It helps all of us understand each other better and learn more about what we are into, and what we like. My pic isn't up yet, but will be, as soon as I figure out how to work the scanner. UPDATE: Bigbaby now has his picture up. Feel free to message me on how sexy I look.

Its fine as it is. As far as I'm concerned some of the new additions are a bit pointless. I could care less who the moderators are, for example. The addition of the Top 10 Top 25 Top 50 reviewers troubles me as well. There are some godawful dummies in the top 50 list, and they seem to be the ones bragging about their placement on said list. Since the helpful/unhelpful buttons are confusing at best and abused at worst, the Top Reviewers flags are misleading. Are new reviewers supposed to be in awe because irishgit is a Top 10 reviewer? I hope not. Is irishgit a better reviewer that PBeavr because he's on the Top 10 list and PBeavr's only on the Top 25 list? Not at all. I suspect these flags may be off putting to newcomers, particularly if they read an asinine comment from one of the so-called Top Reviewers. If anyone wants to know bad enough, they could always pull down the list of Top Reviewers. The flags are superfluous.

It's not hurting anyone, so why not?

Doesn't move me either way. With the existing profiles put up, it's pretty good, and if anyone wants to get to know more about my views, I'm more than happy to chat. I do like being able to click on a user's name and get to know more about them than just their reviews.
