 | GenghisTheHun (177) 06/10/2006 | Here is an interesting character. He was a follower of Trotsky 40 years ago when I wore a younger man's clothes. He was a mainstay of the Socialist Workers Party, the main Trotsky vehicle in the USA.
Has he moved to the right? It is hard to say really. He and the former Trotskyite neo-cons are of the same ilk. Now rather than worldwide Marxist Revolution, we must have worldwide Democratic Revolution. Both LaRouche and the neo-cons are willing to cram their favorite idealogy de jour down the throats of people who don't want it.

 | SZinHonshu (45) 12/23/2005 | FightForYourMind, your time would be better spent fighting for his mind because Lyndon Larouche is crazy, plain and simple. And I don't mean crazy as in wants Creationism taught in school or desires a completely federalized health care system. I mean crazy as in a few fries short of a happy meal.
The Queen of England is a drug dealer? Henry Kissinger is an agent of communist influence? These are statements/notions that have directly come from LaRouche's mouth or writings.
He doesn't need to hold higher office. He needs help from psychiatric professionals. He is imbalanced, out of touch with reality, and has been the embarrassment to the Democrats that David Duke is to the Republicans, for decades now.
The one good thing I learned about your post is that he is still above ground. I was unaware that Mr. LaRouche was still with us, and am gladdened to hear so as I wish him no harm. And I hope he doesn't have to spend anymore time in federal prison as long as he is with us. But no person, of any reasonable political orientation, can assert that he is a fit candidate or even in touch with reality.

 | FightForYourMind (0) 12/23/2005 | Continuing the american revolution in the footsteps of Hamilton, Franklin et. al. Fighting facism at its roots. Building a platonist youth movement. Mobililizing people on the streets. If you consider yourself to be serious honest and good, you should read him, at least. Martin Luther King was also scorned when he first came to the south - get past superficiality and cut the pessimism, its time for solutions, and action to get them through - the man is 83 years old and is out there fighting so we can have a future. He's a force of honesty and passion, in a time where we are running short. Give him a chance
Peace

 | socratic (0) 12/09/2005 | yo, I'm a larouche supporter. But why are the rest of the obviously larouche supporting posters leaving crazy cryptic cult BS posts? PLEASE. if your going to whine stupidly because of some anti-larouche sentiment in people who don't know better...LEAVE THE COMPUTER AND GO ORGANIZE! a simple "larouche is a really smart guy who can help the world and he is dangerous to some important people, which is why public opinion is so biased about him" is sufficient isn't it?and tell them to read a specific thing that he has written as a friendly gesture to educate themselves on the man if you feel its necessary. To all others...I sincerely apologize for the stupidity of some people who claim to be supporters...an organization of people cannot control all of its members behaviour.

He gets an extra star for his views on Bush. THERE he is INDEED correct! Probably would give this guy a higher rating but I don't like (or agree with) the LIES he tells about Jews. Just can't trust those antisemetics...

 | Redoedo (41) 09/06/2004 | Thankfully, we didn't have to listen to this lunatic's whacked-out conspiracy theories during this year's primary season. Maybe after 100 years of trying to lock up the Democratic nomination Lyndon LaRouche has finally given up. Lord I hope so.

 | BeHonestWithYourself (0) 08/25/2004 | None of the critics of the Children of Satan: The Ignoble liars behind Bushes no exit Iraq War could have even gotten through the first chapter. I challenge EVERY SINGLE critic to debate me, my email is: [email protected].
The facts are simple. The US and global PHYSICAL economy is *GONE*. We need to create millions of industry development jobs in the USA and STOP sucking the labor workforce of other countries for Nazi Concentration Camp condition pay. We are facing the GREATEST economic meltdown that none of you have ever seen, and if we are lucky enough for Kerry to win, we might get out of it if he listens to LaRouche.
Face the facts: You were suckered into the war in Iraq. It's a horrible quagmire, and we've already spent about $200 Billion Dollars, overstreached the millitary, and lost our allies. THANKS CHENEY! If we spent 1/10th of that money feeding and developing the poorer countries, we would have majorly ended terrorism. Now terrorists have a bigger motive to attack us. Anyone who votes for the Cheney/Bush is no better than the Nazis who let Hitler take power. You don't believe me? I CHALLENGE YOU TO DEBATE ME. I can prove it, and if you don't have the guts to debate me in person, then what kind of person are you to call for the carpet bombing of Iraq, Iran, Syria, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia? A fascist, but DEFFINATELY not an American. Not a Ben Franklin, Abraham Lincoln, Franklin Delano Roosevelt American anyways.

 | hockeyusa27 (0) 02/02/2004 | Here is a quote from his website LaRouche is the only qualified candidate for U.S. President with a political movement representing what Franklin D. Roosevelt referred to as the forgotten man, who is now facing ruin in the ongoing Global Depression and the Neo-con drive for perpetual war. OKAY FRANKLIN D. ROOSEVELT'S FORGOTTEN MAN???? wow wat an idiot

 | BrettonWoods (0) 12/11/2003 | Lyndon LaRouche is the only real candidate for the 2004 presidential election. The only candidate with the plans and knowledge to get the world out of its economic collapse and moral dark age. The time for a real leader is now, and Lyndon LaRouche is the only real leader.

 | downwithnietzsche (0) 12/11/2003 | This guy is excellent as an INTERNATIONAL figure!!!! Considering we have a poulation of people pre-occuppied with simulating killing people on computers or watching it at the movies, i do not think a lot of the comments made about him are too justified. He wants people to learn about Beethoven and Schiller et al. Look up the Schiller Institute instead of porn ( being the most common internet past-time ) and find out who he really is. WE NEED ANOTHER RENAISSANCE FIGURE!

 | kaffa (0) 12/11/2003 | What are you guys on about cant you see our economy is collapsing?
We are heading for a world economic crisis due to the stopping of looking after people before money. Weve speculated on the markets and economy with debt and its bout to come crashing down. LaRouche is fighting for peace through development! whats bas about that. If you looked at who LaRouche is condeming ask yourself what the reason for this is. the only reason this guy was jailed was due to LaRouche targeting the guys who are stuffing this world.

 | zuchinibut (41) 11/13/2003 | This guy is a nutjob, and is somehow capable of motivating people to campaign for him.
At an anti-war rally before our country went into Iraq, LaRouche followers were yelling, Keep Iraq Sovereign. Kick the weapons inspectors out of Iraq. What? I am not quite sure how someone would think weapons inspectors in Iraq was a problem.
From other things I have heard from LaRouche, it appears that he is very anti-semitic. This guy really does make Ross Perot look like a great candidate.

 | LadyShark4534 (12) 11/05/2003 | You know, I read his biography. He doesn't seem as bad as many people feel he is.
In fact, He's almost 80 and running for president and that is impressive.
And how many oldtimers are liberal democrats like he is?
Overall, I kinda like this guy.

 | abichara (63) 10/10/2003 | This guy's still running. LaRouche is a charlatan who's conspiracy theories really shouldn't even be listened to. Does this guy still have credibility? Apparently he still does among some circles. In the Arkansas Democratic Primary in 2000, he got 22% of the vote!

 | S.O.G.W.A.P. (0) 09/27/2003 | At least he is not a phony balony politician. He had some good points in 1996 but I have not kept up on him. I like the fact that at age 80 he is still involving himself in the political process.

 | Moosekarloff (19) 09/09/2003 | This is just another example of how anyone with a gift of self-promotion can run for the highest office in the land, and actually get some shovelheads to vote for him. LaRouche is one of those lunatic fringe type candidates who hangs around election after election for who knows what reason. Being older than some dirt, LaRouche should just gracefully fade off into the political landscape and leave the rough and tumble stuff to the other a**holes running in 2004.
