Tina Fey is brilliant. Anyone who understands comedy knows that. And it goes WAYYYY past Sarah Palin.

is tina fey a real comedian? does she truly make you laugh? does she have natural comedic ability? or is she just someone who bases her entire style on controversy and base political satire? and now with her mocking of sarah palin, would she have any success at all if not for the fact that she looks so much like her? its actually surprising how few of palin's mannerisms she is able to imitate. 20 years from now no one will remember who fey is or was. i doubt anyone besides left wingers find her funny. isnt 30 rock proof enough of her lack of talent?
Taya 10/05/2008
I think enough is enough. Tiny Fey as Sarah Palin is no longer funny.
Hoochie2122 07/31/2008
One of my favorite Weekend Update anchors (Dennis Miller and Kevin Nealon being my absolute favorites).
comedyalliance 07/05/2008
Although Tina Fey wasnt on much except for Weekend Update and a few cameos here and there she's genius
Whozzat 06/12/2008
She is a dreadful waste of biomass. If she were on fire, not only would I not so much as piss on her, I'd reach for a jerry can of kerosene to make sure the job is done right.

There is a persistent stereotype out there that women aren't funny; John Belushi purportedly subscribed to that notion, and it caused tension on the SNL set. When I used to watch SNL on occasion, I began to fear that I too was an unwilling adherent of that sexist canard, because I never laughed once at any of the women I saw on SNL. Some of them...Gilda Radner, for instance...were quite talented, but they never, ever, EVER caused me to chuckle, giggle, guffaw, bray like a jackass, or even smile. It wasn't until I watched Second City TV and found the women on it as funny, if not funnier, than the males, that I recognized (to my relief) that the problem wasn't with me, and it wasn't that women weren't capable of being funny. It's just that the women on SNL weren't funny. What was true then is even more true now. Then again, in fairness to women like Fey, NOBODY on SNL is funny anymore, and they haven't been for decades.
numbah16tdhaha 04/16/2008
Ehh, gimme a couple drinks and I might hit it, but I'd need a couple more drinks before she could make me laugh...
daedalus 04/16/2008
Nothing strange about that at all. She is hot as Hell. She will even make me laugh once in a while too.
CanadaSucks 04/16/2008
I do find her funny but not downright hilarious. . .and I do find her strangely attractive. . .
ScruffMcgruff 07/08/2007
from now on NO lesbians are allowed to comment on how tina fey is funny, and whitty and sexy... first off; she is not funny, neither is saturday night live and it hasnt been funny for at least 7 years I dont blame her for that but Ive seen her tv show and it sucks baldwin is the only thing keeping that show on the air,
wrlord 01/19/2007
Just not funny, and nowhere near as intelligent as she thinks she is. Wow. She and Bill Mahr must be the same person. Have you ever seen them together? Me neither.
Nina89 09/02/2006
she's just great !
BlinkeredSix9 07/10/2005
She is a very underrated SNL cast member. I had watched her in Weekend Update and I thought she and Amy Poehler were very funny. Tina started work in an office on the seventeenth floor of 30 Rockefeller Plaza, NBCs headquarters, which offered a view of the Empire State Building. She missed Chicago, but S.N.L. s backstage dynamics inspired her. Good luck Tina!
querulous 03/18/2005
NEVER funny, not sexy, that gash in her face is really annoying. Quite possibly the worst cast member in the history of this show.
singsplatsing 02/21/2005
She comes off as a total feminazi b*tch. She's only occasionally funny.
SkySoldier 02/08/2005
Stunning. Breath taking. Hot and Wild.
me120585 01/16/2005
I give her two stars ONLY because she does OK on weekend update and because she wrote Mean Girls
swelcher 12/31/2004
She's ok, but just because she wears the Ashleigh Banfield spectacle does not make her smart, hip and sophisticated. Average writer and pop culture suck-up
proudsharonite 11/06/2004
I agree that she needs to cut the political commentary. But overall, she revitalized Weekend Update, wrote several of the best sketches the show has seen in recent years (including those great parodies of The View) and is an absolute babe to top it all off. Did you know that her and Cheri Oteri are both from the same town: Upper Darby, PA?
HotChick4Chick s 10/25/2004
Better doing the news than as head writer. The sketches aren't that good, many are weak. LIke a sexy librarian - eyeglasses very becoming on her. I'd do her.
CapAnson 09/17/2004
I think she's way to eager to voice her political opinion on the show. And more importantly she's not funny.
southparker9 08/24/2004
Writes and does news. One thing too many.
lemonguy 07/28/2004
A comedic genius
Ripgop 07/12/2004
Her writing is not funny is it mildly cute at best, she appeals to a 16 to 18 year old pop culture demographic who listen the hip hop and Britney spears and are too stupid to know what funny is. I can get the same level of humor from a late night improv, as a matter of fact an local improv could fill in for the cast of that show. Mad TV is much better.
ernesta 06/13/2004
VISCIOUS LEFT WINGER. THE CAUSE OF THE DEMISE OF SNL.
marcm9999 06/03/2004
Not funny. I also will start watching again once she is off the air as an anchor AND is removed as a writer let alone head writer. She is teribble. She is not funny and is a communist to boot. I know people at work who are funnier and smarter. She is as annoying as any cliche you can think of such as the proverbial nails on the chalk board. Tina sucks big time.
DiamondDavid 05/27/2004
Once she's off as Weekend Update anchor and head writer, I'll watch again. SNL has really slid downhill during her stint as writer, other than Hammond, I have no reason to tune in. Plus, she looks like my ex-girlfriend.
ccfl04 05/09/2004
she's adorable, smart, and sexy - i want to be her!
ASWASAl 05/06/2004
Smart, sexy, and funny. What else do you want in a woman? Anyone know how she got that scar though?
FranksWildYear s 02/24/2004
Has revived the quality of WU. Plays the anchor role straight and comes of funnier than anyone since Dennis Miller. Smart news/current affairs parody.
wlarsen 01/25/2004
Not only does Tina Faye have a quick witt and a fun personality, but she is one if the sexiest women that I have ever laid eyes on.
snl_luvah 01/06/2004
Not in enough sketches to rate higher than 3, but Fallon-Fey is a magic combination... pure magic!
phlip-tout 01/04/2004
Before she was a cast member I'd see her playing a part as an SNL audience member. She used to be overweight (not that that's bad per se... she didn't wear it well). Now she's kinda hot.
coleslough 12/04/2003
very cute
zuchinibut 10/30/2003
She is the head writer of the show, so she must be funny, but she does nothing besides Weekend Update. She is decent on that bit with Jimmy Fallon, but they don't come close to Norm or Dennis.
uTo1 05/31/2003
Schwing!
forgotten hero 04/30/2003
This woman is funny, smart and very talented. But I can't help but feel sorry for her after watching her lug around that lump of dead weight known to the world as Jimmy Fallon.
CatherineDeBar a 04/23/2003
Very witty and beautiful! You can always be sure that it doesn`t get embarrassing.
skipbar 01/20/2003
Not funny, I thought she was Lisa Loeb for a while
Jason1972 01/16/2003
Even though she doesn't do enough on stage, she's a talented writer and virtually saved the Weekend Update segment from the overly dull Colin Quinn administration. I love her spectacles, she is sexy in a sophisticated way.
lukskywlkr. 12/25/2002
She, along with Jimmy Fallon, have made the news worth watching again.
wmassie 12/20/2002
Funny, smart, and attractive. I want to take her home to meet mom.
callmetootie 12/04/2002
She's great in Weekend Update (and writing the sketches), but she doesn't do anything else. I can only give her 4 stars because she doesn't do enough onstage.
LeMat 12/01/2002
I have to give a high rating to anyone who can pull off the responsibility of being a head writer and cast member, and still have enough energy left over from dealing with Lorne and the entire staff to cope with the uber-stressful Update. Now, above that, she's actually good. Great, even. Her delivery's never been anything but dead-on, and her improv background comes right out whenever Fallon drops the ball. I could go on, but the restraining order prevents and prolonged written communications about her. :) Keep up the good work.
Megs 10/14/2002
I'm very proud I get to watch a show with such a funny beautiful lady! Tina is awesome!
Beach Bum 06/30/2002
Not only a cast member - she-s been one of SNL's main writers for the past 2 years!
