Tina Fey is brilliant. Anyone who understands comedy knows that. And it goes WAYYYY past Sarah Palin.

is tina fey a real comedian? does she truly make you laugh? does she have natural comedic ability? or is she just someone who bases her entire style on controversy and base political satire? and now with her mocking of sarah palin, would she have any success at all if not for the fact that she looks so much like her? its actually surprising how few of palin's mannerisms she is able to imitate. 20 years from now no one will remember who fey is or was. i doubt anyone besides left wingers find her funny. isnt 30 rock proof enough of her lack of talent?

I think enough is enough. Tiny Fey as Sarah Palin is no longer funny.

One of my favorite Weekend Update anchors (Dennis Miller and Kevin Nealon being my absolute favorites).

She is a dreadful waste of biomass. If she were on fire, not only would I not so much as piss on her, I'd reach for a jerry can of kerosene to make sure the job is done right.

Nothing strange about that at all. She is hot as Hell. She will even make me laugh once in a while too.

Ehh, gimme a couple drinks and I might hit it, but I'd need a couple more drinks before she could make me laugh...

There is a persistent stereotype out there that women aren't funny; John Belushi purportedly subscribed to that notion, and it caused tension on the SNL set. When I used to watch SNL on occasion, I began to fear that I too was an unwilling adherent of that sexist canard, because I never laughed once at any of the women I saw on SNL. Some of them...Gilda Radner, for instance...were quite talented, but they never, ever, EVER caused me to chuckle, giggle, guffaw, bray like a jackass, or even smile. It wasn't until I watched Second City TV and found the women on it as funny, if not funnier, than the males, that I recognized (to my relief) that the problem wasn't with me, and it wasn't that women weren't capable of being funny. It's just that the women on SNL weren't funny. What was true then is even more true now. Then again, in fairness to women like Fey, NOBODY on SNL is funny anymore, and they haven't been for decades.

Just not funny, and nowhere near as intelligent as she thinks she is. Wow. She and Bill Mahr must be the same person. Have you ever seen them together? Me neither.

She is a very underrated SNL cast member. I had watched her in Weekend Update and I thought she and Amy Poehler were very funny. Tina started work in an office on the seventeenth floor of 30 Rockefeller Plaza, NBCs headquarters, which offered a view of the Empire State Building. She missed Chicago, but S.N.L. s backstage dynamics inspired her. Good luck Tina!

NEVER funny, not sexy, that gash in her face is really annoying. Quite possibly the worst cast member in the history of this show.

I give her two stars ONLY because she does OK on weekend update and because she wrote Mean Girls

She's ok, but just because she wears the Ashleigh Banfield spectacle does not make her smart, hip and sophisticated. Average writer and pop culture suck-up

I agree that she needs to cut the political commentary. But overall, she revitalized Weekend Update, wrote several of the best sketches the show has seen in recent years (including those great parodies of The View) and is an absolute babe to top it all off. Did you know that her and Cheri Oteri are both from the same town: Upper Darby, PA?

Better doing the news than as head writer. The sketches aren't that good, many are weak. LIke a sexy librarian - eyeglasses very becoming on her. I'd do her.

I think she's way to eager to voice her political opinion on the show. And more importantly she's not funny.

Her writing is not funny is it mildly cute at best, she appeals to a 16 to 18 year old pop culture demographic who listen the hip hop and Britney spears and are too stupid to know what funny is. I can get the same level of humor from a late night improv, as a matter of fact an local improv could fill in for the cast of that show. Mad TV is much better.

VISCIOUS LEFT WINGER. THE CAUSE OF THE DEMISE OF SNL.

Not funny. I also will start watching again once she is off the air as an anchor AND is removed as a writer let alone head writer. She is teribble. She is not funny and is a communist to boot. I know people at work who are funnier and smarter. She is as annoying as any cliche you can think of such as the proverbial nails on the chalk board. Tina sucks big time.

Once she's off as Weekend Update anchor and head writer, I'll watch again. SNL has really slid downhill during her stint as writer, other than Hammond, I have no reason to tune in. Plus, she looks like my ex-girlfriend.

Before she was a cast member I'd see her playing a part as an SNL audience member. She used to be overweight (not that that's bad per se... she didn't wear it well). Now she's kinda hot.

She is the head writer of the show, so she must be funny, but she does nothing besides Weekend Update. She is decent on that bit with Jimmy Fallon, but they don't come close to Norm or Dennis.

This woman is funny, smart and very talented. But I can't help but feel sorry for her after watching her lug around that lump of dead weight known to the world as Jimmy Fallon.

Even though she doesn't do enough on stage, she's a talented writer and virtually saved the Weekend Update segment from the overly dull Colin Quinn administration. I love her spectacles, she is sexy in a sophisticated way.

She's great in Weekend Update (and writing the sketches), but she doesn't do anything else. I can only give her 4 stars because she doesn't do enough onstage.

I have to give a high rating to anyone who can pull off the responsibility of being a head writer and cast member, and still have enough energy left over from dealing with Lorne and the entire staff to cope with the uber-stressful Update. Now, above that, she's actually good. Great, even. Her delivery's never been anything but dead-on, and her improv background comes right out whenever Fallon drops the ball. I could go on, but the restraining order prevents and prolonged written communications about her. :) Keep up the good work.
