This game officially sets the bar for "next gen" releases for years to come. I am blown away with the amount of detail, depth, action, dedication etc that was put into this game. I cannot stop promoting this game to friends who also play video games. Reading all sorts of reviews is one of my main habits when purchasing any item. This is my first review ever on Amazon, and this game is the main reason why I must start now. I own the XBOX360, PS3 and Nintendo Wii. And this game is just THAT AMAZING. Period. PROS: -Ridiculous amount of detail put into this piece of work. -Voice acting and character movement is top notch, I have never played/seen a game match this yet. -RECORDED/SAVED GAMES FOR MULTIPLAYER. I feel like most reviews have not covered this great feature that should be in all multiplayer games. I love going back to multiplayer games to see what I might have missed out on. -Unlockables! I love this feature, I feel like I'm back on Goldeneye 007 for Nintendo 64, c... Read more

It is a rare occasion when a game comes along and and garners so much praise prior to its release. I had been waiting for this game ever since I saw the first trailer on the VGA's. As release day drew closer, some part of me began to worry that this game may end up being a let down. Boy was I wrong. Just like with the first one, you have to be willing to accept some oddities, but hey its a game. We do the same thing for movies. On the whole, the story is fun, intriguing and engaging. Just like U:DF there is some truth to the story that starts it off. Game play is identical to the first one, with one exception, major improvement on the whole. The cutscenes make you feel as though you are watching a movie. Disregarding the graphics, the voice acting, movement, and emotion, all make for scenes that really suck you in. The gun play is more or less the same, and with bad guys in body armor, 5 shots to the chest makes a little more sense than pirates with tank tops withstanding ba... Read more

Uncharted 2 is a thrilling adventure from frame 1, where you learn the ropes by climbing a train car, hanging vertically off a cliff. The variety in scenes you take part in, and the action are all some of the most fun you'll have this year. Controls are tight, AI is smart, the platforming is creative, and the set pieces are beautiful and varied, keeping the pacing up the entire time. These are all the reasons I originally bought this game. All that aside, though, the multi-player aspect is quite possibly a better gaming experience than Halo, and with out a doubt, the best multiplayer on the PS3. The platforming aspect combined with the perfectly done "gears of war" cover system, and the in-tact (from Story Mode) stealth/melee attacks, make for a truly dynamic experience. Level design here is great, full of places to climb and hide, so you can really plan your attacks. My only complaint is a lack of a MOVING Train map for multiplayer. On top of that, there is a creative use ... Read more

Too easy..... this game has no other rival (yet)! The Uncharted series nails it on the head (once again), with another exciting, "over the top", action/adventure game that will have us praising the Naughty Dog team until they spit out part three. Realistically there's nothing too say that hasn't already ben said (amazing visuals, high production value, long/interesting single player story, fun multiplayer, and plenty of digital butt references). In all reality I joined the party late, as I didn't even play the first Uncharted until a few months ago. I was one of those lost few that didn't give it a chance, thinking it was a male version of Tomb Raider. I was horribly wrong! Now that I am completely on the Uncharted bandwagon I can assure all those "non-believer" types.... go buy this game! You don't have to be into "Indiana Jones" type games, and don't expect elements of Tomb Raider. This game is all on it's own. The sequal simply takes it up a notch, adds more/better amounts of... Everything about this game is great. I've beat the 1st one several times and plan on doing the same with this one. I can't wait for the third installment of "UNCHARTED".
