I used some Fuji Film brand glossy photo paper before I used these, and they turned out a bit reddish looking. When I printed using this paper, the pictures turned out with slightly less color, but very close to the original (note: I was scanning the originals first, so I assume that the minimal amount of color that was lost was done in the scanning process). That said, I got none of the reddish tinge that was there when using the Fuji brand. I imagine that my final result would be significantly closer to the original copy if I had been able to start with a digital image. I think it is wise to use the brand of photo paper designed for that specific printer; it seems to have certainly helped the color out immensely in my situation, and I was very pleased with the end result as the pictures on this paper were very nice. The paper is also quite thick and glossy. It would be hard to tell these weren't professionally printed. The price on Amazon is significantly lower than that ... Read more

This paper works very well for my photo printing needs. I've used it with my Canon PIXMA MX860 Wireless All-In-One Photo Printer, and I'm very happy with it. A few sample sheets of this kind came with my Pixma and I was impressed enough by the results to order more. I've also tried the slightly less expensive normal glossy paper, which I'm also very happy with. This "super glossy" paper is a bit more glossy, and sometimes I prefer that. One thing I really appreciate about this paper is that while one side is glossy, the other is basically like card stock, so you can write notes on the back of photos, or you can fold your photos to use them as cards. This is good quality paper, for a very good price. I'm very happy with this, in the 4 x 6 and other sizes. It covers all of my home photo printing needs.

I'm no expert, but it seems to work just fine. I love Canon printers also.

This photo paper is great for Canon photo printer. This one costs twice as much at Staples. A great value here!
