This shoe is awesome. What caught my attention at first was the look of it, very unusual, I had not seen another shoe like it. The place I saw it at did not have my size so I had to go to another store to try it on. I tried on one shoe, walked in it and decided to buy them right then and there, that is how comfortable the shoe is.To me it feels like those old snow boots with a fixed rubber sole and foam tops in terms of comfort. But of course the support is on par with that of a good pair of boots, it is simply incredible. The traction is spot on. The more I wear it, the more I like it. this is a good shoe but it could be better. it has good ankle support (4 out of 5), decent traction (3 out of 5), bad comfort (2 out of 5), its cushioning isnt that good either (3 out of 5), i'd say it has an overall raing of about 3.5. it is definitely a very light shoe (13 oz.), but the harm it did to the back of my ankles with blisters and such really turned me off.
