I like the beef enchiladas with cheese dinner, and the hard shell tacos are good too!

I have been to TC in Sherman Texas two times, the first time it had just opened so the extremely bad food might be explained. However I said we might not go back again. Well we tried it again today and the food was the worst that I have ever tried to eat. I had a simple bean and cheese burrito and could only eat half of it for it was too salty and just tasted bad! My wife had the fajita salad with extremely salty chicken some lettuce and a little guacamole. It was so bad she could not eat it. I tried to finish her salad and the only thing I could eat was the bowl. I have tried to eat at some bad places but this is the worst I have ever seen. They must have had a competitor come in and cook for them! I will never go back to TC to eat again and have been telling all of my friends to stay away!

The location at Campbell and I-75 in Richardson, TX is full of employees with attitude (except when the bosses visit). They continually miss the correct order. My last visit the manager did not give my full change back to me; I asked her for a drink with no ice and yes, it had ice in it. ; the tacos were half full than usual with meat, lettuce, cheese and tomato. The employees have a worst attitude than some Starbucks. Horrible location to visit. TB supervisors - you need to revamp the whole group! I will not visit this location again.

the location in bastrop,tx is hardly ever open at 6 am when they are supposed to open. when one has to be at work at 6:30 this really sucks. they can mess up an order of one taco. it's like they just don't care about their customers at all.

The location at Campbell and I-75 in Richardson, TX never gets our order right, and they are always rude about it. We don't ever go there anymore. They only get one star because I can't choose ZERO stars.

We had breakfast at the Taco Cabana on 620 (Four Points) area. The Worst experience ever!!! The meal took 40 minutes to be prepared and was wrong when we got it. The staff did not wear hair nets and continually ran their fingers through their hair and proceeded to prepare the food. In the forty minutes that we waited, I witnessed to employees sneeze into their hands without washing them. Yuck. When we complained about the service and food...the staff and manager were rude. We asked for the owners phone number and were told they don't have it. We will never go back.....

The WORST i mean W O R S T service ever. I've been to a zoo where the animals are more organized. What is it about this place that they seem to be lucky to hire whoever they can, who will stay just long enough to open the door to the next shift (if they're lucky)? The people in the two locations in my area couldn't get my order right with everyone combined!!! In addition to this, they seem to constantly fall behind schedule (breakfast not being ready for an entire hour after the beginning advertised time, for example. Is it extreme lack of motivation, or simply because nobody wants to work there? The ultimate result greatly resembles a collection of keystone cops. No, I'm NOT KIDDING. I wish that I could say that I was, GRRRR!!!!!

If you get the right stuff from TC its great!! But I didnt care for some other items... some special burrito I tried once and the enchiladas were far from great. But I do love the fajitas and the quesadillas. They also had some shrimp tacos but no longer sell them? Those were great! But a little pricey. The potato and eggs are a great simple breakfast also, I always salt them some and add the pico. We don't have a taco cabana where I live now but whenever I drive to San Antonio (I do occasionally) I HAVE to stop by Taco C! For being fast food I think the fajitas are awesome!

Taco Cabana is one of the worst places to go in Denton, Texas. I went today over there and the service was terrible and ridiculous. It took an hour to finally get our order of food (that happened to be all wrong). They did not even apologized and after one more hour they came out one more time with a wrong order. I was very frustrated and decided to have my money back and leave.

Good food, but they could use a little more selection and variety on their menu.

The "salsa bar" ain't gonna' help this rating one bit. An expensive taco bell, microscopic portions, astronomical prices. For what you'd spend here to get filled, you could've eaten at a real Tex-Mex restaurant with real food. Don't do this to your date!

I've only had it a few times in Texas but IMO, TC's way better than Taco Bell, but that ain't saying much.

Terrible...Terrible...Service. I stop there because it's on my way to work...I have had my order given to me wrong at least 1/2 the time. I drove thru today and heard the cashier cussing. They are always gossiping- Maybe that is why the mess up simple orders so often. I ordered a bean/ cheese taco...there was a smear of beans that just covered the center of the tortilla..WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL EMPLOYEES...

I grew up on Taco Cabana in San Antonio and still think they've got the best fajitas around. These aren't the sirloin or shrimp fajitas that TGI/AppleBennigans serve. These are REAL fajitas. TC was serving fajitas back before the vast majority of americans had ever HEARD of them. They're the original TexMex 24-hour taco stand and they're awesome. Yes their prices have gone up, but they're still cheap and tasty. Good stuff.

Absolutely horrible! This is not real Mexican or Tex-Mex. For those of you that remember the real Taco Cabana (hello San Antonio)this is a far cry. The food is obviously frozen (fajitas), the guacamole is from a can and the servings have diminished considerably in size, but they did not forget to INCREASE the prices. This is another sad case of a great hometown fast-food place turned into a crappy, low quality fast-food chain.

For fast-food Mexican, Taco Cabana is just about the best there is. Better by far than Taco Bell or Del Taco, the food quality is fresher and, in most locations, you can enjoy a beer with your meal. The tacos, enchiladas and taquitos are very good, but the nachos leave a little to be desired. Wish they were nationwide; most of the locations I've seen are in Texas and Florida.
