Canadians Beware! I've just had a nightmare with Chico's Online. They never give you a tracking number and my parcel got lost. I waited six weeks to get the matter resolved. Chico's begrudgingly gave me a refund but NOT for shipping and handling...so due to their poor shipment policies, I'm still out about $60.00 (despite refund) with no product in hand. They were not helpful in the least - in fact, one person insinuated I had already received the goods! I resented this treatment, since I'd shopped many times at Chicos both in stores in the US and online. Canada Post confirmed that it is impossible to track something without a specific number. Try Coldwater Creek instead - they have an amazing shipment policy to Canada and exceptionally nice clothes!

I have been buying from Chico's for years, but their selection the past year and half are awful!! They used to have the most colorful and beautiful tops (blouses/tees/jackets). I have several silk blouses that I purchases because the colors were beautiful. Now, it appears that whoever is buying their clothes is depressed because there is no color anymore. You had better like grey, brown, or black (with may a little silver thrown in) because if you don't, you are not going to find anything at this store anymore. It was nothing for me to spend $500-$1,500 a couple times a year at Chico's. I can honestly say, that I only spent $200 in 2009 because the selection was horrid. And the design of the clothes!! Are you kidding me??? Who wears that stuff and where? I have not seen anything lately on anyone that I could absolutely identify as Chico's (and I used to be able to spot a Chico's item a mile away). Guess I'll just go elsewhere for my clothes until they bring back their former... Read more

Horrid return policy! I will NEVER shop at this store and will NEVER recommend it. They do not provide cash back with gift receipts. "It's our policy." is the standard response. Zero customer service and the customer has no rights.

For years, my son and I would puchase an outfit for my wife who is a passport member. This year, the sales people ignored us and treated us rudely. The associate who talked to us just left us. Then when we went to pay, she ignored us again and took people just walking in the store ahead of us. Another associate did the same. When I had asked the associate twice for gift receipt, she did not print them out. So instead of correcting the error, she handed me the receipt with the prices and said, "This should do." It turns out, she did not know how to do it and just tried to rush us out of the store. In my opinion, I would avoid Chico's and, in particular, their store in Fayetteville, New York.

I walked into a Chico's (Lancaster, PA) for the first time in my life just to see what all the fuss was about. The salespeople were friendly but really a little too aggressively 'sales oriented' for my taste. I felt like they were on me like vultures. That said, I found some really pretty clothes there. Yeah, some clothes do look like something an eccentric wealthy woman with bad taste would wear.....but there is a range of clothing styles and I found some very nice skirts and belts and jewelry that were quite unique. But HELP! The sizing is crazy! They use some crazy system to size their clothes. I guess they want bigger people to feel better about themselves but it was just ridiculous. I think they should just use REGULAR sizing so I can find my size! The prices are way over the top for what you get. I mean, the quality if fair-good at best. In truth, one shirt I bought looked faded after one wash in cold water. That's KMart quality if you ask me. And the hem of one skirt came dow... Read more

I am terribly disappointed in Chico's service. They were out of the slacks that I wanted and was told that they would ship them to me. Great. I cheerfully paid for them and waited and waited and waited. After a few weeks I called and was told that they no longer had that particular item and that I would eventually get a refund. I received a letter stating that same thing ( No check though) and was told I Would receive my money within 6 weeks. I am still waiting !! : ( When I try to call I get the run around and am told that only certain people can check on it and they are never available. It has been a no less than 5 calls over the past few weeks with no result. At first I was frustrated and now it is just absurd. They refuse to give me a refund just a run around.

Hey!!! What happened to Chicos? I have endured their outrageous, over the top prices for years; however, I at least would get something unique and different for my hard earned money. Chico's you should really be ashamed of yourself. You use to send your Passport members 50% off coupons every few months, and you don't even do that any more. Your clothes now look like your Buyer also works for Wal-Mart. Your styles are now boring, extremely ugly and of very poor quality nowhere near the quality that we vintage Passport members had become accustomed to. Shame on you!!! If you've lost your ability to offer beautiful, unique pieces that's understandable, but don't put Wal-Mart and Fashion Bug merchandise on your rack and triple the cost just because youve conditioned your loyal customers to pay those prices. Again, shame on you - Im tearing up my Passport membership card. Also, please leave the writing of reviews to your customers and not a staff member from your corporate headqua... Read more

Chicos is a wonderful store with tastefully executed styles that are unique and yet timeless.  I love Chicos, and I find that most Chicos followers are educated, intelligent, professional women who do not have time for general mall hunting but who want to look fashionable.  Retail prices at Chicos are not low, but the quality is very high, and options exist for bargains and discounts.  Chicos may not be for everyone, but for those of us who appreciate all it has to offer, Chicos is wonderful.

I may be referred to as eccentric at times, and I am hardly rich, as well as I am several years away from being able to join the red-hatted Ladies Society. I do like their clothes. They may seem a bit pricey, but you pay for good quality clothing. I have items that I purchased from them several years ago that still look great. I love their washable linen shirts and their unique one of a kind items. I do not own any muumuus either. A bit of lagniappe, Christian missionaries who were shocked by the clothing, or lack of, that the Hawaiian women wore, designed the muumuu.

Excuse me while I go scream into a pillow. My mom shops here occasionally, and the best way to describe this place is: a $50 multicolored mumu. I kid you not, the clothes are just that hideous and the prices are through the roof. Only the most eccentric rich old ladies would shop here.
