Nose-picking

There's nothing that bothers me more when I am next to someone and they're picking their nose. If you pick your nose, don't do it when you're around people, most people don't like it. Actually I can't think of anybody who likes it.

Make sure you wash your hands before and after.

I think that that's quite possibly one of the worst vices there is.

As long as you dont eat what comes out.

It may be bad, but everyone I know has done it....and you know you have too.

Works better than a damn q-tip! LOL Just do it when no one is around like in the bathroom or something! Or use a tissue!

Nothing quite as appealing as rolling up beside some guy at a red light who's mining for gold with a forefinger buried to the second knuckle. It's even better when they pull one out and examine it closely. And of course, the very best is when they eat it.

A natural vice, but not pleasing.

My brother digs like there is something valuable up there. I know you gotta get a boogie here and there, but I can do without that level of it.

What I want to do with my nose is my own business. And children should pick their nose and eat it, it makes them sick which builds up essential immunities. Read that one in a magazine at the doctors office.

I can understand if you're 3 and don't really understand what you're doing anyway , but this is really nasty, and the only adult who should be doing this is Booger from Revenge of the Nerds.

It's interesting that you always seem to pull up beside someone at a stop light, look over at them, and see them digging away. It's like, "next time, buy a car with tinted windows, jag-off.

Picking nose is not as bad as picking and eating it...that's nausiating!

I'm with Last on this one - picking is one thing (though still a bit stomach churning if seen), but eating is on a whole other level of "bad".

If a person really has to "pick", there is such a thing known as Kleenex.What I'd like to know is if someone is digging for gold!

There's a funny story of James Cagney driving down Sunset Boulevard and pulling up alongside Humphrey Bogart at the stoplight. Bogie was digging away for treasure, oblivious to all else. Cagney wrote a little poem about the incident and sent it on to Bogie, who reportedly was not amused.

Funny thing; you don't have to go to Alaska or California to find people digging for gold. You can find them waiting at the red light, digging for gold.

half my family picks their nose and I am the only one that doesnt. It is so nasty! Not that picking your nose is bad enough but then they go and eat the...... i cant even say it!!!

Nothing more disgusting than to watch dirty low class people picking thier noses in public. Some even flick it out, rub it on walls and even eat it! Hey, don't look under his desk!

Disgusting! I hate to see anyone picking their nose. Maybe it's wrong to say this, I don't know, but the worst is when I see a really good looking woman, with a finger up her nose. I'm sorry, but it really dissapoints.

I always have had a habit of picking my nose. I try to wait until break so I can go in the bathroom to pick, but sometimes I can't help it. My nose always has boogers in it. Eh.

The interesting thing about it is that people seem to love to do it at intersections while the light is red. Why is that?

Do this only in the privacy of your boudoir. And if you don't have a boudoir, do it in the bathroom. You do not need an audience.

Give me a break! You know you all do it from time to time. How else are you gonna get all that crap that's stuck to the back of your nostrils? Just do it discreetly and be sure to wash up immediately afterwards. People who dig in public are disgusting. There should be a law against this. And anyone that works around food and is caught picking their nose should be fired. That's exactly why I prepare my own meals. People are too nasty. Anyone with class and good breeding would not be caught dead picking their noses in public. I know I have class - that's why I just finished picking mine in the privacy of my bathroom.:) Feel's great!!

When I was a senior in high school there was a girl who sat in the very front row, right in the center of the classroom. Everyday she had her finger jammed up her nose. Sooner or later, she'd take it out, wipe it on her shirt, in her hair, once under her skirt (NO JOKE!). It was disgusting. It would make these juicy sounds ... ugh. So gross. After I graduated I went to Taco Bell one day only to find her working there. Needless to say, I never ate there again.

If you can pick your nose with your elbow, then it's ok.

While I think the habit can be quite gross depending on the severity of it, I think sometimes it is necessary. But it should be done privately to where no one can see ya diggin'!

Much like masturbation everyone does it, but nobody wants to admit it.

I guess it's ok as long as you don't eat it or flick it at anybody.Heed my advice,all booger pickin children out there.Your snot is filled with poisenous pathogens that you need to dispose of,don't eat your boogers.

Well, as long as you don't eat it it's ok. Noses need to be cleaned out, just like ears. Use a tissue please.

Doesn't matter if you pick it, but wear you stick it.

You can pick your friends, and pick your nose, but you can't pick your friends' nose.

Pre-schoolers have this down to an art form. I always intervene, especially when they are about to eat their treasure. They love doing this, hoping maybe to find a ruby, pearl or M&M one of these times. Nothing is taboo to a three year old, with maybe the exception of saying butt or fart repeatedly.
