Best Pinot Grigio for the price, and even for the pricier ones. My husband won't even drink white wine, until I gave him a glass. Now it is a must have for all of our parties

Been drinking this since I first tasted it in Buenos Aires in 1999. I refer to the Valdadige D.O.C. I also tried the Impronta del Fondatore Alto Adige D.O.C. and the Pinot Grigio delle Venezie I.G.T.(their Estate PG). Of the 3 the delle Venezie was the best of the 3, but not by and substantial margin - it is also not universally available as is the Valdadige, which I find regularly in Canada, China and U.S.A. The wine's best property is its consistency - 11 years of drinking it has revealed very little difference. Some complain about the price being too high - you must remember that this is not only the original Italian PG but the most popular (consumed) in the world [I may need a qualified reference verifying this bold statement - resders/raters please fire away!] therefore you are a victim of supply and demand! The price in 10+ years has doubled, or more, from ~$US 11,00 to a price of between ~$US 17.00 to ~$US 29.00 in U.S.A. markets, slightly higher in Canada (Ontario as I purchase... Read more

This wine is a conspiracy. I don't think any of you are real people but spies who work for the "winery". This wine in fact is made so that it slowly destroys the brain of anyone who drinks it. Everyone knows that the wine has been made by Mussolini Sympathizers hell bent on destroying America. It seems to be working. Don't waste your money on this crap. If you like drinking horse piss, get a horse. It's cheaper in the long run.

ITS SO RELAXING AFTER DEALING WITH THE EVERYDAY PRESSURES OF LIFE... TAKE CARE AND THANKS

This is my fav of wines. I was first introduced to it at the Melting Pot restaurant then purchased on a regular basis at Walmart or Costo for about $19 in AZ and now living in ID it is hard to find and costs about $23. Regardless it is a staple in our home.

This wine is great. I always grab a bottle when I go to a byob Itilian resturant. Who cares about the price the price is well worth it. It make you feel like you are in Italy.

A fine wine is always worth the price. There is no better Pinot Grigio on the market for the price! Spend the extra money it's worth it. One of the finest Pinots I have ever tasted! You will be disappointed on how fast it goes, thats what makes it worth the money.

I don't mind spending $20.00/$25.00 a bottle, but I get so many bad bottles of it. 1 out of every 3 bottles I buy is moldy and gross tasting. The other 2 are great. I need to find something else to drink, because I am getting sick of wasting the money or not having anything to drink when I feel like a glass of wine. Does anyone else feel this way?

It is 17.00 at Costco and WELL worth it! I love it and think it is the best Pinot Grigio out there. A friend of mine went to Italy and said it was $6.00 a bottle over there...if you go abroad, buy some and bring it home!

I've been drinking Santa Margarita Pinot Grigio for years and I love it.. It's one of the best ones out there and although pricy, I feel that it's worth the spending from time to time. If we can't splurge on a $21.00 bottle for special events, then we have problems!! PS: I got my friend trashed on it this weekend!!;-)

I discovered this wine when I was in southern Italy at a convenience store a few years ago. It's a great wine. When I got back, I was amazed how much U.S. stores charge. Over there it retails for US$7 a bottle. I should have bought a couple of cases instead of a bottle to go with homemade fettuccine Alfredo.

    Over-rated and over-priced.

I was given a bottle of this wine as a gift. I don't generally like Pinot Grigio so I stored it and didn't get around to it for several weeks. My wife and I finally decided to try it and were absolutely amazed at how good this wine was. Like others, I was also surprised to find out how costly the wine was. I was told that it sells pretty cheaply at Costco. I have not looked there yet.

Definitely the best pinot that I have ever tasted. Tastes very smooth and you don't get that hangover next morning. More expensive then the rest but well worth it!

I found this bottle of wine in my wine rack which must have been given to us by a client. I opened it up to share with 2 other people and it was just exquisite-the best Pinot Grigio wine I ever tasted (& I don't even like Pinot Grigio that much). When I went to look for this year 2003 bottle i realized it wasn't a cheap bottle of wine by no means - about$21.00/bottle. I think I will buy a couple of bottles but save them for special occasions.

I had this at a friends house, who raved about the quality and that it's the best pinot grigio. I thought it was good, but when I went looking for it at the store and it was selling for $24.99 a bottle here in Michigan, I thought the price was ridiculous. There are other pinot grigios for less money that taste as good if not better than this brand.

A nice wine, but definitely not worth the price.
