I was really shocked that a Judge would call someone a "son of a b _ _ _ _ ! on national tv. If I was that guys mother, I'd sue her! There is no reason for a person in her positin to lower herself to the level of a comment like that!

THE JUDGE HATCHETT SHOW IS FAKE! I HAVE SEEN 3 'DNA" SHOWS WHERE THE "MAN" WAS A LESBIAN. AND OF COURSE ALL 3 TIMES "HE" WAS NOT THE FATHER. THIS SHOW HAS FAKE DNA CASES.

I was on Judge Hatchett for being a premiscuous teenager. It aired October 4th, and I have to honestly say going on that show made no difference what so ever in my life. The court part was ridiculous. Mine was an intervention case against my parents, but it was supposed to help me "grow" as a teenager into a woman... supposidly. They put me in one room by myself to prep me, than they put my parents and my little sister in another room. They would come in and ask me what I didn't want to hear my parents bring up, than they would go back to my parents and tell them to bring it up in the courtroom. They sent me on my "reality checks" and to be quite honest, that was the only part of the show that actually made any difference. I met a lot of amazing people outside the show building and got to talk to them like real people, not like they were my counsulors. Maria Davis and Chelsea Gulden were two incredible people and I will never forget them. They were more like friends to me than... Read more

I am so disappointed in JUDGE "NO-LAW" Hatchett. She aired a show today with two pedophiles and did absolutely nothing to them. She is always pretending to be an advocate for youth. I think that is just for show only. She did absolutely nothing to two pedophiles that will prey upon youth again. She should have turned them over the real law so they end up in prison. It was obvious that the little girl was much younger than mentioned on air and the fact that she had sexual contact with those grease monkeys three years before the show is disgusting. What is more disgusting is nothing was done to the nasty men who stood before court and admitted their sexual crime. I thought that once a crime has been committed and admitted to an upholder of the law, the upholder becomes obligated to prosecute or turn over the criminals to the proper channels for prosecution. Perhaps Hatchett did not read her creed before she first wore the robe. So this proves that either she is not really a judge, the en... Read more

What a boring show...one would think it takes 1/2 hour to determine which man conceived a child with which woman or to determine who owes who what. I would love to see this show taken off the channel it's shown on in Wichita KS.

JUDGE Hatchett!!! Was once a great show, thought she cared for those who were going through crisis situations. Until a family member of mine tried to ask for her help! She insisted and responded to her with the attitude and encouragement as though Hatchett was going to help!!! After interviewing the victim JUDGE HATCHETT TURNED HER BACK!!! It was done very unprofessional and unnecessary, how can any one be so verbally brutal to open half a door and shut it back in her face. Why be such a hypocrite and act like you really care about these people if you are going to turn down certain cases ... she was just asking for help and still is maybe you could have made a difference in her life? Obviously you arent capable for helping people with various situationsso why act like your making a difference in peoples lives??? Words cant even explain what my family and community think about Judge Hatchett, as previous GREAT fans of hers, she has been the biggest Judge disappointment to not only m... Read more

Judge Hatchett....I am so disappointed in her. I believe that all of these shows are marketed to solicit viewers reactions and television ratings as oppose to really trying to help the people that are in NEED of it. SHAME ON YOU!!! I would put that in the GREAT HALL OF SHAME!!!!

Well I am really dissapointed with the show. I always watched faithfully everyday untill a family member of mine wrote to ask for help with her teenage daughter. The whole family kept telling her to write to the show that we were all sure she would get some help, but we were wrong. Judge hatchet herself called my sister, spoke to her as well as producers from the show, made it sound like they wanted to help. they called my sister several times to ask for information, even spoke to my niece. After the last time speaking to my niece no one ever called back. My sister tried several times to call, left messages and no one called her back. That is terrible!! How dare they give my sister some hope and leave her hanging like that. From that day forward I lost all interest in the show, I don't believe they want or can help teens with serious problems, they just pick the easy one's. Therefore my family,my friends,my neihbors and myself have not watched the show since. I have made sure that m... Read more

Judge Hatchett is the most compassionate Judge and actually seems to care about the results of her rulings and the consequences that may follow. Some episodes involve paternity tests and DNA results but Hatchett is unlike the numerous cheesy Daytime Talk Shows where the estranged or deadbeat parent only promises to step-up to the plate when the results show that they are the child's parent. The difference here is that in Judge Hatchett's Courtroom, a childs life not a laughing matter. There is no high-fiving, "I told you so..." or name calling. The results are serious and are delt with accordingly by a real judge ordering real child support payments and asking the parent to step up and be a part of the child's life. Other episodes ivolve Interventions that usually involve out of control teens or younger. In this day and age young people are often mistaken as criminal or "guilty as charged" without anyone caring enough to discover the underlying problem causing this wrong behavior or... Read more

I love Judge Hatchett. Her show not only gives hope to children, but a direction in which to achieve their full potential. This show is not all about showing the children who is in control, but about showing the children how they can control their own lives. Her show which helped a young drug dealer see how he can use his skills to sell tee shirts instead of drugs is a prefect example of this. She did not just tell him that its a better way but she showed him hands-on and that what teaching is all about. (Give a man a fish, he will eat for a day, teach a man to fish he will eat for a lifetime)

Why would she favor black people? I've never seen that happen. She's a judge, if she did favor anyone based on race she would be fired.

this show is an insult to other judge programs she is nothing more than a female maury wearing a judges robe her so called "cases" involve nothing more than "i have a troubled teen" and the show ends in hugs... there's no accusations, no form of any judicial process, no rulings, only interventions.... her show is more comparable to a bad doctor phil, but to call her a judge is just false advertising

Watched the program today on 22 February 2005. Felt that the Judge was Definetly Prejudiced toward the Defendant who was a Barber. The Plaintiff kept referring to Mr. Davis as the Barber From Hell and she made no comment, but the minute Mr Davis said the plaintiff probably could not read she jumped right on him. Also when he made a comment about maybe he was on Medication she again jumped on him. All the time, never saying a thing to the Plaintiff about his comments. DEFINETLY PREJUDICED.

On Feb.2,2005 at 12:00pm I was watching your show.I am a faithfuly watcher every day. Most of the time I agree with her but on this case of the Nanny sueing the defendet for back wages and definement of the person. I was so shocked on her ruling I refuse to watch her again. The defentant told the judge that when someone called her for a referance she told them she was a crazy woman,I just cannot believe she didn't rule for the plantiff.I even had a argurment with my husband about it and he said that he knew Judge Hacthett was not gonna rule in her favor because she was for all black people.I feel like this was a very unfair ruling because of the statement she made about her being crazy and also she didn't have the guts to tell her she was fired in person. The nanny should have recieved the money she was owed.I was very much supprised by the judgement.I will never watch her again and no one in my family will ever turn my T.V. on her show.I cannot believe it but I saw it and heard it so ... This woman has quite possible the worst personality of any judge of television. SHE IS SO GHETTO!!! Has anyone heard the type of language she uses? I think her favorite word is ass, and she often starts questions with "Who the hell..." or "What the hell...". Pitiful. Then she takes credit for kids "turning thei lifes around", when in any of those situations, it would have happened anyway, because KIDS GROW OUT OF THINGS!!! Judge Hatchess is a scam.

OK, but boring, so I rarely watch. I'd rather see a court show than watch Judge Hatchett play social worker. Also, it seems like a lot of phony baloney; for example, it's hard to believe that a very troubled teen could be instantly turned around just by spending a few hours with a boot-camp drill sargent or a repentant convict. Yes, I know it's only a TV fantasy, but it's not a very good one.

really sincere in wanting to help people. Think any "judge" has these qualities?......WRONG! Check out Judge Judy and Judge Mathis ....both egotistical maniacs carrying around more baggage than plaintiff or defendant.

Judge Hatchett does an excellent job. she helps teens who are in trouble turn their lives around and helps adults who don't get along with each other reconsile. her intervention programs are great. The only gripe is that some cases such as paternity cases are a little too routine.

I like what Judge Hatchett is doing, but I'm really finding her voice hard to tolerate. Sure, it seems petty, but we have to listen to her. Her voice makes her claims of 'I'm pulling for you' and 'Hear me clearly, now' seem comical. At least with her show we do get occassional updates on cases, and we also get the chance to take a break from the time in court to come back. At first, I thought that all the cases were really just faking it, but lately, I'm starting to believe that more of them are really meaning it when they are talking of changing their lives.

She's pretty fair, but all of her cases are bizarre stories about mothers suing their kids because they've been bad. It's sort of like a Ricki Lake court show. Judge Hatchett seems like she deserves better.
