Judge Judy

I don't see why people agree to be on these shows other than to be humilated by an old arrogant and egotistic women for a small sum of money. Each one her outbursts of anger seemed to be well timed set-ups she's waiting for depending on what the person defending themself says. All in all Judge Judy makes herself very unlikeable and depends on being rude to get viewers to her shows.

Love Judge Judy, she tells it like it is. I would love to know every time she states she is sending the tape to... Student Loans or Disability that she really does it. It's amazing how the system is being abused by so many people. When you get up, go to work, pay your bills and do the right thing in life then watch and see how many people are just abusing the system it makes me so mad. I just want fairness in this world and I hope Judge Judy follows threw with some of these losers on her show. Thank you Judge for ALL you do, keeping telling it like it is.

Its entertainment people. Do you really think this show is suppose to be about what is just or what is fair. NO! Its about what is going to entertain people and keep them coming back to watch. People who watch this and then agree to go on there for their 10 minutes of fame in my opinion have it coming. I mean what are you thinking? You know what she is about yet you go on there and air your dirty laundry and then want to cry about how unfair she treated you or how rude she was. Please unless you are a complete moron you know exactly what you are getting yourself into. She is being an Actress and all of you are taking her show to heart. If you don't like it stop watching it.

She never let people speak their mind or opinion. She forces them to surrender or believe whatever it is she want them to. Does she not realize that its hard to remember exactly point for point details to everything and sometimes the litigants are nervous, tone it down just a little Judge Judy but keep it firm!

Yeah she's a bitch but if she wasn't would she have her own TV show? No, it would be boring. Besides nobody has to go to her, it's not manditory if they don't agree to go.

Five stars. 2/7/11 was the best yet. Judge Judy did the right thing.

I like the way she tears down the at fault or 'wrong' participant, but she is technologically challenged and so out of touch with today's society. As a consequence, many of her 'decisions' are based on her own values or feelings instead of the actual, applicable law. She apparently feels that people who are living together, or in her words 'playing house', aren't protected by or subject to the same laws and rights married couples are. She also seems to have trouble with understanding that she's missing pertinent facts by telling participants she wants a yes or no answer when a more complex response is the only way to respond truthfully. I'm just glad she's not a sitting judge in a REAL court.

Remember her show provides binding arbitration or mediation, not actual court hearings.

This is the type of Judge I HATE paying to have in our legal system. She is hateful and unfaor towards the plaintiff/defendant. If this attitude is for show,she is a GOOD ACTOR. I do not feel she is qualified to do her job and I am shocked it's still on the air. I do not watch this show,nor do I allow my family to have it on the t.v. OUR taxes pay for this fools salary. And I am not willing to pay for a circus with my hard earned money.

Can't stand this woman...It's all about her. She really doesn't need any plaintiffs or defendents. She doesn't let them talk anyway.

If you read all opinions in this page you will get the idea that most people dislike this lady. I agree she plays a crazy bitch well. If Judge Judy does reads some of your hate comments about her religion I am sure there is dislike. On the other hand, all of the other acting she does on T.V. then she reads it here the giggles. I love Judge Judy. She is good at weeding out the idiots and liars! She doesnt embarrass her guest ,They embarrass themselves by getting caught in their own lies and schemes.You have to be crazy to go on her court show and thinking you can pull the wool over her eyes. It aint gonna happen!

Its a paid comedy show that is making a mockery of our court systems. My 8yr old watched it one time and said daddy is that how the courts really are? I said no kiddo, they are not like that. She said good cause that lady is just plain rude!! It just goes to show acting like a complete idiot and making fun of others and making a mockery of our court system is what this show is all about. But it pays the participants and she is paid a whopping $45 million a year!!!!!! Thats the biggest joke.

Some hits, some misses. But being quick to tear people down and making snap judgments about their total worth? I don't go for that.

It's possible they don't just keep JJ around because she's always so "smart" as she likes to say (nobody's perfect, after all). Entertainment is everything in today's media. THAT'S why some people get paid millions of dollars. Smart gets you a conventional court bench at $250K or less a year.

This is the most obnoxious woman that has ever lived. She has done more damage to the reputation of the judiciary in this country by her antics on the beach than every lawyer that has been disbarred in the world. If she were a real judge(she is not, she is an arbitrator where people have agreed to let her hear their problem and be bound by it) she would be removed from any judicial position by the Judicial Qualifications Commission for violating the Canons of Judicial Ethics. Every state in the union has a judicial ethic requirement similar to rule 3 of the Judicial Code of Ethics of the American Bar Association which requires that all judges treat all parties and witnesses "in a courteous, dignified, and respectful manner". A violation of this rule is grounds for removal of a judge. Real judge's in real courts do not conduct themselves the way she does. If they did they would be removed from the court in a "New York minute". I am surprised that no one has filed a bar complaint against her for her unprofessional conduct in disgracing the legal profession.

Judge Judy has no respect for anyone andmost of all herself.She treats everyone with contempt and automatically assumes that they are deviant.SHe has no sense of compassion and her sarcasm is unbelievable.I have no time for Judge Judy sorry to say.

I watched this narcissistic IDIOT during one case tell this man, who spit on this guy at a party while he was drunk, that spitting on someone is assault, then a few days later, a guy sued a girl, who spit on him (she was sued for a couple of things, not the spitting incident), that it was NOT assault! She isn't fair, she gets it wrong a LOT more than she gets it right. She locks in on a something about a person that she doesn't like and attempts to exploit that insecurity or weakness. She is NOT a judge, she is a mediator. This is NOT a courtroom, this is considered an arbitration proceeding. This is a daytime docudrama. If you want to be educated about the law, she would not be the one to watch. You learn tons more from Judge Mathis or Judge J. Brown, because they explain it to you. In case you didn't know, she pays you the money of your lawsuit before you even get on a plane, so why go tape the show?...So she can prove to the world that little Jewish women can bark louder than any dog. It is asinine to believe that she is clairvoyant to the point that she knows what can and can't be true. She is the poster-child for possessing and Oedipus complex. She could NOT be a sitting judge and rule by her definition of common sense. She has made dumb ruling after dumb ruling, not based on the law, but her own convoluted sense of power. I would love to see her personality rating. I am sure that her narcissism reading would be EPIC. She's an entertainer people...GET OVER HER SELF-ABSORPTION!!! And I wish I could go on her show, because I do have an I.Q. of 157 and am a MENSA member.

i hate judge judy!!!! she does not treat juveniles fairly in her courtroom!! she assumes that a child is always guilty and speakes to them as if they are not even human beings!!! i wont be surprised when a parent hopes over the bench and kicks her funky ass! my mom is a juvenile probtion officer and all of her clients get rehabilated becouse she treats them like people and she is fair!!! maybe my mom should have her own show instead of that old sloppy bitch!!! i hope judge judy suffers a long, slow horrable television death and then one day she will need the help of one of the children she humilated on tv!!!

I use to enjoy Judge Judy. No more! It use to be she was so clever and a, "Tell it like it is Judge". Not anymore. She is sooo rude to folks who come to see her - that also help pay for her paycheck. I can't believe that anyone would suggest that Jude Judy is anywhere near the same league as the professional and fair, Judge Wapner. This lady is seriously the WORST biased judge I have ever laid my eyes upon. Bar none. THE WORST.

I watched her show twice, decided I have much better things to do than watch a hormonal middle aged woman stroke out over nothing for 30 minutes at a time.
She is sooo goofy acting, it is annoying.

As a court reporter, I have to say, Judge Judy is a joke. No judge in their right mind behaves like that in the real world. It is nothing but sensationalism to get a rise out of people, an absolute joke!

While reading these 127 rating comments, I encountered into expression "bitch" maybe 50 times. I believe, that's exactly what she is: Hysterical, self-centered, and nasty bitch.

Her sow is a complete lie and scam. When I was on they trick me by the so called producer telling me she likes an arguement and to argue back with her. They also had false wittnesses on the other side and made up completely a lie. At he end they made sure you left right away and had security guards escorting eveybody out. Judge Judy is a genious with morals. Her lectures are fabulous to the mostly low-lifes that frequent these shows. Be prepared to be humiliated if you don't pay child support, don't pay loans, and do stupid dumbass behavior. You should.

I have Cystic Fibrosis and to the naked eye I appear to be completly healthy but I am unable to work all my medical problems are inner...so it makes me very angry to hear the best judge on TV to make comments to disabled people on her show like...well you LOOK healthy to me...does she have X-ray vision to. I think she owes disabled people a public apology, not all disabilities are visual to the eye.

Judge Judith Sheindlin is my all time favorite Television Judge! she means business and doesn't mess around with the crap people try and give her. "She's smarter than them on her worst day on their best day!"

The show is very interesting.  I suppose that's why it's been on the air for so long.

One of the few judges on TV that makes people responsible for their own actions. She can be a little gruff but sometimes that's what it takes to get thru to some of the knuckleheads before her.

She's a power mad bitch who does nothing to inspire people to respect the law.  It's ALL about her not justice or the law.  If you want to watch something similar and enjoyable watch Judge Roy Brown.

That woman doesn't belong on the bench. I remember one episode where some kid was being sued for egging some neighbor's car...and Judy asked the kids' mother: "Where were you!?" and the mother said "I was sleeping"...Judy then replies "Were you drunk?!" Good God, it was 3am!!!!!!!!!! What the hell is the mom supposed to be doing at 3am??? Sleeping would be MY first guess!!!! Judy is a JOKE. But, then again....its sad that we live in a society now where family members/friends have to go on NATIONAL TV to confront one another, and make fools out of themselves. Look at the Maury show...eeee gads. Hmmmmm..."I slept with 18 different men and I need Maury to find out 'who my baby daddy is'" (By the way...I HATE that phrase...) But its really a joke. Talk shows, Reality TV....it has really gotten to be a joke! Anyone agree?!?!?!?

She is extremely rude and vile toward the people on trial. She only berates people for the fun of it, not justice. She only berates people to make them feel bad and give them such a low self-esteem that they feel like trash. Judge Judy also insults to make her self-esteem skyrocket. That is not what a judge should do. She also favors women over men, and she asks what people's profession is, and judges them. If the litigant gave the profession of doctor, she would be nicer to them and think that they are not criminals. If the litigant gave the profession of cashier, then she would assume that that person is a delinquent and is a screw-up on life. That is not justice. That is biased. One should not base whether people are felons or not based on what they do for a living, what their religion is, etc. In addition, she does not listen to the sides at all. She only lets people talk for a few minutes and shuts them up very rudely, and she would talk for the rest of the trial berating the plaintiff and defendant to no end based on what is on her mind. That is not right. She needs to open her ears and and listen to the whole story. A judge should listen and base the guilty on fact, not opinion. And she always says the same thing, such as grow up, and it gets old. And she said something about how drug addicts should be given poison needles and die. That is a sign of her psychotic mental state, and on the way to murderer. She, in her mind, is very immature and needs to change herself. Her husband and children must be making the therapists, psychologists, and psychiatrists very rich with daily visits, because it would run in the family. Plus, her nasty tone of voice pierces my ears worse than a very high and loud Minnie Mouse kind of voice. And she acts like the people did something to make her mad when they did nothing at all. She needs to mind her own business and base the charges on fact, not ask all the personal questions like how long has one been married or such. By her attitude, she would find someone guilty of their religion. She needs to take a break and lighten up.

I do not think I would want to be in her court. she really blasts people. she gets awful mad at some of them.every now and then there are some people who have that tongue lashing coming{especially if they did something cruel to another person} I would stay clear of her.

Judge Judy is F'in BITCH! She is a bitter old prude that needs to take her menopause medication, laced with Valium!!! Just saying. I like all the other Judges, like my hero Lynn Toler...whom is reasonable, kind and spunky. Even Judge Alex that tends to be harsh is far better than her. He's only harsh because he is to the point, but he is fair. I do think she comes of racist and tends to be kinder to men. Maybe she's just trying to get some. OY!!! She acts like she's the smartest person on earth and everyone else is an idiot!!! I just hope she has no kids....otherwise they must be making some therapists very rich!!!!
