I'm ok with the McMuffin because it's not as high a dose of calories at 214 as the Sausage McGriddle is at 563. Which means you can eat two McMuffins and only feel half as bad.

Every once in a while, in a hellacious rush in the morning, I'll get one of these at a drive through. Ten minutes after ingesting it, I'm wondering why I didn't just go hungry.

the mc muffins are tolerable, but i think thats coz its still early, and your brain and stomach arent fully aware of what is goin on.

It's been a long time since I had any kind of McMuffin at McDonald's. I prefer making mine at home. But as I have said before, there's nothing like their fries.

Well it is Kirk Cameron's favorite entree at McDonalds, so I'm going to give the McMuffin 4(count 'em) 4 Stars

I may be alone here, but I like egg McMuffins and the sausage McMuffin with egg!  Only four stars because the Burger King Croissant breakfast sandwich beats 'em out.

I am sorry but I love egg McMuffins. I am like a fat kid in a skinny girl's body and I have gotten in the habit of stopping on my way to work for a McMuffin and a coke, lol. but seriously, yum.

I actually like the Egg MsMuffin, and it's my favorite McDonald breakfast item. I am not a real big fan of McDonalds or fast food in general, so "favorite" is relative here.

There really is not a better breakfast sandwich. I like to order the Sauasage McMuffin with Egg on occasion, but I always ask for the folded egg form that you find on the Egg McMuffin versus the round formed thing they usually put on the Sausage McMuff.

The thing I like about McDonalds is the predictability.  I've had Egg McMuffins in all 48 of the contiguous United States and I have never, ever had a bad one.  Don't get me wrong, I've never had a particularly good one either.  Occasionally, I get one that is above average.  The English muffin they use is pretty decent, by fast food bread standards.  I have never had a burnt one.  The egg is probably from a chicken or a relative of a chicken.  I can't help but think that the round mold they cook the egg in to give it a consistent shape influences my perception of sandwich as a whole.  It drives home the mass produced nature of the product. I would venture a guess to say that the eggs are cracked and processed before they ever see a restaurant.  I believe this because I have never found a piece of shell in my McMuffin.  I don't think the wage slave working in the back has enough skill or desire to flawlessly crack an egg every time.  The ham on top is also fairly decent.  It is process... They used to be quite good but over the past year or two theyseem to be drier and pastier than they used to be. The Croissantwiches at BK have supplanted them

By far the best breakfast item on the McDonald's breakfast menu. I rarely eat any other breakfast sandwich at McDonald's other than this one. And the hashbrowns taste excellent with it.

One of the worst things McDonalds has. Yeah like McDonalds is a beacon of good taste. The eggs are slimy, taste horrible and put with muffin and it makes it worse.

This is the only item on the menu, besides the french fries, that one should subject on one's digestive system. You'd actually be better off to go to your local coffee shop and have them make up their version of it for you. I'm sure they all do...

I attempted to eat one of these about fifteen years ago. The egg was not thoroughly cooked and I have refused to even try one ever since.

An old standby and possibly the first of the fast food breakfast items. I like them on occasion. I also like the idea that it was one thing I could legally eat way back when I did the Richard Simmons diet (believe it or not, Canadian bacon is fairly low in fat compared to other breakfast meats). Not bad, but I'd really rather have a sausage, egg and cheese biscuit.
