 | Poetmom (0) 06/04/2004 | Our twins were very hard to please when they were younger. They were big for age, had reflux, and screamed for MILES in their infant seats. So as soon as they were 20 lbs (around 4 months. I told you they were big) we bought two Evenflo Triumph Vs. Ahhh, peace in the car! I found the directions easy enough to follow. I set up both seats myself (this is Mom writing) and installed them in the car. We started with a car that did not have the latch system and it was easy enough to slip the seatbelts through the holes. Later we purchased a new car and I had the pleasure of using the latch straps. They held the seats very, very tightly. For reasons I can't understand, I can't say the same for the boys' new booster seats (they're over 40 lbs now).
The best part of the seats is that everything is sooo easily adjustable. The straps don't have to be rethreaded to change the shoulder height. You can tighten the straps easily. We didn't have as many problems with twisting straps (although they ALL seem to have some problem with this).
The only down side is that taking the covers off to wash them does involve pulling out the screw driver. Why is that?!?
They're great seats. Get one. If you have twins, get two.
