Capital moving did an amazing job moving my families belongings from Toronto to Montreal. They took care of mine elderly parents lifetime belongings so careful, without damaging anything. They packed and unpacked their belongings very professionally with a reasonable price they have wrapped everything with special moving blankets. All the furniture and antiques came in great shape and on time except for a small scratch on their old coffee table. My parents informed them about this matter, the sale agent asked them to fill out a claim form, and they sent out a cheque even though the amount my parents claimed was under the deductible. The pick up was schedule in Toronto for October 25th 2010, and the movers came on time, pick up my parents belongings and the next day they delivered in Montreal. Great service , reasonable prices!! .Used Capital moving to move from Edmonton to Toronto.. Couldt ask for a better service. The guys who loaded the truck were really nice and clean. Took really good care of my belongings. Everything was properly wrapped .The pick up was on time, and the delivery was on time also..Whenever I had questions they were ready to answer and really tried their best.. Capital Moving did a wonderful job moving my daughter's belongings from Toronto to Winnipeg. Our daughter was leaving school to come home, there by herself (we couldn't get out there to help her) and Capital Moving took care of everything. For a very reasonable price they even did all the packing. The quote came within $150.00, all the furniture came in great shape, except for a small scratch on her old dresser. The sales agent asked us to fill out a claim form when we mentioned it and they sent us a cheque even though the amount we claimed was under the deductible. I really can't say enough good things about this company, they send 3 guys for her tiny little place, they came in time window that was expected for her pickup, had her entire apartment packed and in the truck within 3 hours (guess that's what the extra guy was for), they called as promised before delivery so we could make the arrangements to be there!! Oh my god... these guys are so awful i almost have no words for them... We waited and waited and every time i called the office they kept giving me later and later times until i actually got a hold of the driver himself who made up a story about truck breaking down saying that he won't come until the next day (i asked about the truck the next day and he was like "what..?"). We had to be out of the apartment by then so we had to beg the landlord to leave our things until then... horribly inconvenient and crazy, on top of some unrelated crazy circumstances i dont even know if all our boxes were there or not, but at least stuff was moved. Around the same time my boyfriend was using them to move his things to california from ontario, they never showed up for him either, when he called they realized that they scheduled the move A WEEK LATER than he needed, and nothing could be done. THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! This company was a nightmare. DO NOT USE THEM! The sales agent was actually pleasant to deal with and helpful up until the pick up date, don't let them fool you, this is why they are in sales. After they picked up my items he stopped taking my calls. The drivers arrived two days late for pick up and charged me for items that I did not use (TV and packing boxes). The original estimate was very low and and I ended up paying almost double. They arrived late at night for drop off and were missing three of my boxes, one of which was never recovered. They damaged boxes and the contents inside as well as furniture. The delivery drivers were actually nice but were in such a hurry that they put holes in my walls while moving in couches, did not check off my boxes from their list, and gave me another persons box.
