This is quite an ingenius gameshow that never quick found it's niche with the viewers. A little too cerebral for the "Fear Factor" crowd, and a little too loud for the regular gameshow fans. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The host helped of course...
bleh333 09/04/2007
yeah there are downloads for this show but they are censored if anyone wants the clips of the strip football and darts there is a link to them at this place http://forums.sexyandfunny.com/showthread.php?t=181 80&highlight;=strip+football

Didn't Brooke Burns originally do the open the show introducing Strip Golf in the nude holding a golf club with her boobs and bathing suit parts pixelated?

The only thing I like about this is when the girls stripped down.

I LIKE TO WATCH ALSO!!

I watched this show once and think it is the worst piece of crap I have ever seen. It featured two girls in bikinis one climbing a fake coconut tree and the other jumping off a platform into water. The favorite camera angle was from the rear showing how the swim suit bottom was riding up the cracks of their asses. This show would have been better if the water tank wwas filled with crocodiles. That way the collective IQ of humanity would have been raised especially if some of the audience had been thrown in to boot. Anyone liking this show has to be a moron.

Tis is a good show. My favorite episode was when a girl had to throw a football and if she missed the target she would have to remove one peice of clothing. She ended up leaving the show completely naked. I would have LOVED to be in that audience!
zestymary2004 10/05/2004
i love the show dog eat dog... it is better than fear factor which is cool
Charles Horne 09/18/2004
I would like to see the money split a little different. The top dog is the Top Dog. Who ever is the Top dog is garenteed $5000.00 leaving the dog pound $20,000.00 to split if they win making it $4000.00 each. This way the top dog is awarded for their efforts and strategy and everyone has a chance to walk away with a little cash. If the dog pound can't beat the top dog at the end then the top dog gets the whole $25,000.00.

i liked it when a lady named marisa kirby stripped in the strip football that is the only time ive seen a lady strip the whole way down. it would be nice if the host stripped.....

Great show. Sad to see it off the air.

I didn't like this show.
icemanatantart ica 08/30/2003
OK-I'll be honest-I mostly watch it because of Brook and the female contestants. (A very attractive contetsant taking off her bra playing strip darts-love to see the outake) Some of the stunts are easer than others-but then so are they on Fear Factor.
CABAL666 08/27/2003
I Like the show, but it needs more strip games than just the darts. Outside of that, I like it.
catdenison 08/10/2003
i love the show dog eat dog and i can't wait until i am old enough to be a contestant on the show!!!!!
YYCT 08/06/2003
At the end... the person who is the "Top Dog" should be able to choose to either answer the question him/herself or ask the dog pound the question. This would make it a lot more fair for the top doggy.
Beemer200 06/10/2003
Who's moronic idea was it to remove the stripping games from the second season? Don't the producers realize that this was a big reason much of their audience watched the show? I didn't realize what a silly show this actually was until they decided to not have any more stripping. I wonder if someone with serious hang-ups "complained" or if this was a lame attempt to make the show more "family-oriented". Grow up! People watch this show for the sex appeal of the contestants. Silly stunts on their own aren't going to keep the show alive.
getback 05/08/2003
garbage
Shnikees 03/22/2003
It's shows like this that bend the meaning of reality. I'm tired of all these game shows calling themselves reality.
brownin 02/22/2003
The downfall of this show is the Host.. although very beautiful she is the most BORING (Yawn) TV host ever.
Zlarsh 02/11/2003
As all shows of this type I find them very entertaining. I found this guy online eho wrote an article about this show and others like it. Its pretty cool. http://www.paperbagreview.com/columns/default.asp?n ame=sidearms
callmetootie 11/28/2002
Corny, silly reality show has people doing silly stunts for nothing. Attractive host makes up for some of the flaws, but doesn't save the show entirely.
addicted 10/24/2002
The looks of their hostess may be their only hope!
marvin harness 09/22/2002
i wish they would show , all when player has to strip in the game. makes it disapointing when they dont
wisdomrace 09/17/2002
The host is clearly just there for her body because she can't speak well. The comps are slightly boring to me...same thing, same place.
vetteman 09/07/2002
should be a special un censored one
PhotoJeff 09/05/2002
Does anybody know why Devon quit the show after the final challenge on the episode where he and Duane had to hold their breaths underwater? He had an ego the size of a small planet and I can't help wondering if he was so humiliated by losing that he couldn't face being relegated to the dogpound. I love it when the loudmouths lose....
mediterra 08/31/2002
(6/28/02) Actually I would rate it closer to Good than Great, but I thought I would give it the "benefit" for now. I liked Mondays show quite a bit, especially the strip golf. I thought that was a great touch and it (or similar ideas) should be made a staple of the show. Brooke should have tried a little harder to get the guy to go all the way, like by letting him get even closer than the naked line or by offering him a guaranteed cash amount. The reactions of the other players was great during this part also. In general I think this show has as much potential as fear factor if the network doesn't wuss-out like they have on other shows like bb. So far I like Brooke because she seems very down to earth not like other stars who are so full of themselves. (Added 7/3/02):: Darknight, I was thinking exactly the same thing about the JRR Tolkien crap. That poor guy got screwed. I agree with most of your comment, but I think some adjustments just need to be made. Obviously, this show could never go head to head against fear factor, but it will have a different niche. As you suggested, it may need to satisfy the more titillation and wild needs of the audience. That's why I felt strip golf, and such, should become a staple. Lo and behold, the next episode will have strip football. Worf1994, is what you said true?! Did she mention that at the beginning which I missed? Or are you some kind of expert? ;) (Added 7/9/02)::Wow, that lady had a lot of nerve to take everything off! Too bad she still lost. She didn't seem embarrassed at all. Most men would have had trouble doing that, I think. One question I have, is whether they have ever shown the audience? Are they just family members or what? (Added 8/29/02)::Strip hangman doesn't really work if the hope is to get someone to either win or be naked. Obviously, if you get to the last item and you don't know the answer, you're probably not going to take off the last item just to get a chance for one more letter. I also noticed you don't have to pay up-front to get a letter. What if someone misses on the last guess but refuses to take off the final item???
Pete Silva 08/29/2002
It's a great show. Much better than much of what is on TV.
pbarnes7 08/29/2002
I think most of the negative comments here are way off base. Yes, they did screw up allowing the "Roosevelt" answer. But anyone who thinks the physical challenges are easy just hasn't been watching much. You try holding your breath underwater for over 90 seconds! Get your butt out there and climb the rope in a heavy downpour in under 2 minutes! I'm pretty athletic, but I know I'd have some problems with some of those challenges. Anyone who says they're all easy is either in excellent shape (say Delta Force level), just not paying attention or deluded. Yes the host, Brooke Burns, has to read the same tired rules every week for anyone watching who might be new. Yes, they're off a cue card. It doesn't mean she's an idiot. But the show is STILL a lot of fun, and Brooke is a fantastic host. Besides being so sexy, I think it's great that she can be a person, rather than just a personality. So she can clown with the contestants, put her arm around them, etc. She MAKES this show. And the strip-golf/hangman/football are tastefully done and make it more than just a physical challenge. No, they aren't for pre-teens. But adults should be able to handle it, unless they've got serious hangups. I think it's funny that the first woman I saw do one of these went all the way, yet none of the guys would bare it all! And they passed on the low-brow opportunity to have a strip challenge when the former Playboy Bunnies were on. I thought that showed a lot of restraint. My wife and I both love this show and it's a shame to see it dumped this fall.
CujoPosse25 08/14/2002
It's a cool show. People rate this is a great show or I'll come over there and put my foot down on you. This is a great show. Some people went to the extreme like being naked on national TV like that one girl stripping while throwing footballs. Or even special editions like the Playboy Edition and Reality TV edition. Screw all the ones who dissed this show: GET A LIFE!
toolman 08/08/2002

I HAVE TO POINT OUT THE INACCURACIES OF THE QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS ON THS SHOW, AT LEAST 2 OF WHICH I HAVE PERSONALLY OBSERVED SINCE TH SHOW STARTED, ONE AS RECENT AS THIS WEEK'S SHOW: 1. THE FIRST PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES WAS *NOT* JOHN ADAMS - HE WAS THE 2ND PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES. GEORGE WASHINGTON WAS THE FIRST PRESIDENT OF HTE UNITED STATES. 2. THE 39TH PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES WAS *NOT* FDR, THOUGH HE DID GIVE THE QUOTE FROM THE INAUGURAL SPEECH. THE 39TH PRESIDENT OF THE US WAS JIMMY CARTER. PLEASE CHECK YOUR QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS MORE THOROUGHLY IN THE FUTURE. AS A HISTORY MAJOR, I FIND THESE GAFFS TO BE OFFENSIVE, NOT TO MENTION POTENTIALLY EMBARRASSING, SHOULD SOMEONE GIVE THE ACTUAL CORRECT ANSWER AND YOU COUNT THEM WRONG ON THE AIR. THANK YOU.
Jessie1978 07/31/2002
I don't feel that overall the show is terrible. I watched for the first time on 7/29/02. I enjoyed the show all the way up to the end. The final question was about which president they were quoting. The quote was "we have nothing to fear, but fear itself." Now the person in the dogpound gave a partially correct answer. He said Roosevelt. Now since there were two presidents with the last name Roosevelt I expected the hostess to ask him to clarify. Or at least the execs letting them know that this was an incomplete answer. Personally I think that the question should have been thrown out and a new one asked. I believe that Duane was cheated out of $25,000 and that he should be rewarded accordingly. I don't know if it is right to take back the money that you have already awarded to the dog pound. I do believe that Duane should receive the $25,000 that he would have most likely won that night. I am extremely disappointed with how the show turned out and I don't know if I will watch again. I can honestly say that what happens to Duane will play a major factor on whether or not I watch again.

DUMB!
trivia nut 07/30/2002
I watched the show for the 1st time on July 29th. I thought it was pretty cute until the final answer. When muscle man hesitantly answered the question "Roosevelt", I assumed the host would ask him to be more specific (considering the fact that there were 2 presidents named Roosevelt). At the very least, the show should have awarded the final contestant share of the prize money! This certainly should be corrected!!!
Im_ur_puppet 07/30/2002
Duane got robbed. That muscle head said Rosevelte but didnt specify which one. Theodor or FDR. If the hostess was as smart as she is HOT she would have caught that mistake they made.
netnetnet 07/30/2002
Hello, I would like to comment on the show that aired July 29, 2002. I have only seen 3 episodes of the show. I enjoyed it until the show that aired on the 29th. The young man was up against the Dog Pound and the Last question was; which President stated in his speech, Fear Not but Fear Itself? The young man in the Dog Pound stated- Roosevelt. This is correct, but which one. There are two of them. Now, you tell me who researches the answers for the show. Are do they think the people watching the show are completely clueless. I challenge you to prove me wrong. Someone should have asked the fellow in the Dog Pound which Roosevelt. These to guys had tension between them and I feel who ever is in charge of this show showed bias and who they wanted not to look stupid. (Added-07-30-02)Hello, Dog EAt Dog, it's me again.. I still can't get over what happen last night on your show and I don't care who agreed with me or who didn't. I am back today to tell you that I have read the comments made about your host. I think they are wrong to blame the host. She was only doing her job. Of all the game shows and reality shows that I have started watching, their has been not one that left their host hanging, when a wrong or half wrong answer was given. There was always someone on the side line that brought to the host attention that the question was not fully answered. If you don't have someone supporting her efforts to conduct fair programming when a wrong, half wrong are half right answer is given. Shame, Shame, Shame, on you not her. Perfessional Critic's are always accessing these shows just as we are. So, why give them or us justifiable pleasure in how you handle the produce of your show. Men love to adore your host and women love to find cause not to, further more, I am sure you pay her too much money to make her look foolish on a show that in not produced to be straight comedy. I thought that it was a show built on the premise of Strength, Knownedge and humor. The joke is not suppose to be on her nationwide, because know one could an on the spot correction. I wonder if she had done so what would have happen. Some seem to think that she already lacks the traits of a T.V. host and as you have read from others last night did not help.
Gazeux 07/30/2002
The show of 7/29/02 was a complete farce! That last answer was rediculous. That muscle head could not get away with just saying Roosevelt! I bet he didnt even know there were two presidents with that name. The execs of this show should have asked for him to specify which one. He would have been lost! And what about Brook?? She should also have known. What a major network screw up that was!! I'll give this 5 DUHS!!!
gilaAZ 07/29/2002
The last question should be thrown out - he didn't specify which President Roosevelt
Ozark 07/29/2002
Love the show! Funny, and hey Brooke is HOT! Questions tonight were all lame.
sideband 07/29/2002
Tonights win was a MAJOR crock. How can they let the guy get away with "Roosevelt" alone as an answer? Which one? Theodore? FDR? That guy had no idea. He even thought he guessed wrong. There is NO WAY that win should have been allowed to have been stolen with such a vague answer. I doubt that guy even knew there was more than 1 President Roosevelt unless of course you count "Teddy" and Theodore.
