Dragon Ball Z

I love Dragon Ball Z it is the best anime of all time. Nothing compares to it. I love the english voice actor for Goku but in the japanese version the voice actor is a girl and she sounds pretty awful. I like how the plots are in the series how everytime when goku and his partners defeat a powerful foe there is always somebody stronger than that one that terrorize earth. I love DBZ the most and nothing will ever surpass it.

I am a huge DBZ girl fan. I just love the show! It has really intense brutal martial arts fighting. It also has it's really funny moments and a few romance scenes if you know where too look. And there are parts where the show is just so sad it'll make you cry. And it had such great messages like always fighting for what's right, standing up for what you beleive in, dedication, honor, and it has real friendshps and marrigaes which will always last. The bad thing is the filler. Most of it was funny, but I know it did get boring with them powering up and just standing there. But at least we have Dragon Ball Z Kai now without all the filler. The voice acting was pretty good, but in some parts it could have used more work. So, for all the Dragon Balls series will always be the best!!!

Will Vegeta get his hands on Goku's balls? FIND OUT NEXT EPISODE "VEGETA GETS HIS HANDS ON GOKU'S BALLS"!!!!!! Seriously, the announcer spoils most of what happens in the next episode every time, plus NOTHING REALLY HAPPENS in each episode. Some people punch each other or talk it out, some guys run or fly somewhere, and a fight is about to start when the episode ends. Repeat.

Dragonball z is one of the best anime I ever seen theres a saber tooth tiger and wants to eat goku but he can't goku scares the saber tooth tiger and he run away.Same thing with the TREX and pterydocals they get scared too. I like the characters too son goku he is the main hero of the show and cange into 4 supersayian forms. vegata is a different attitude he is nasty and mean he want to kill goku and his friends. I must admist that sometimes the show did get annoying, but I still love it anyway. The fighting is awesome, and I love Trunks and Vegeta. The storyline is good, and I just love to watch them eat. Amazing.

This show needs to die. How many characters does it take to screw in a light bulb? ONE but it takes FIVE episodes to do it.

I love DBZ It is so cool buta thing I hated was that they made Bulma break up with Yamcha and then when she had a nasty afro she F***ed the horribly gay Vegeta which sucked @$$ I mean a nice girl like Bulma screwing around with trash like him. (Sorry Veggie fans! LOL) But besides that little thing I love the series but I can't say the same about Dragonball GT...*Yuck*

This show was very entertaining, but it would have been at a 5 if they did not keep busting up the place, and if Son Goku would use his head sometime. They made Vegeta seem like garbage.

It would've been a 5 but is too damn unrealistic. Wtf is with blowing up planets and demolishing places and stuff? The plot is good enough and the music is fine but damn, tone it down a bit Akira.

It would have been better if each episode wasn't 1 minute of fighting and that they didn't repeat that one saga over and over and over again on Cartoon Network

This anime kicks ass Vegeta, Frieza, and Cell are the BOMB!!!, Bulma is hot (will the younger Bulma anyway)this anime shows alot of action packed fighting and power ups I bet Cell, Frieza, and Super Buu can KILL the Powder puff girls.

Now this is an anime show. It doesn't matter how hold you are, everyone can enjoy it. The characters, story's, music and animation are all great, and this is what GT was missing. In Z, you cared and watched with intrigue as the story and character development took it's time, while GT rushed everything. Dragonball Z is truelly a great anime series, and those that like GT... no taste. PLEASE< do a new Dragonball series following on from DBZ, and wipe that aweful GT from the official history of Dragonball

DBZ is the best I dont agree with furygurl, mikeholly ,classictvfan47 (of course), Opinionatedguy ,ledzep44 and mostly with PIGPENANDSCHRODERULE (he is a pig ) AND HARDCRITIC.But i MOSTLY agree with Supersaiyan3jay. DBZ and DBGT kick @$$ on t.v.

Why is this so low?

This anime is just not interesting to me whatsoever. It lacks the incredible energy of Tokyo Pig, the perfect mix of action and comedy found in Pokemon, the bubbly humor of Sailor Moon, or the excitement of Sonic X. The animation is pretty poor, the voice acting sub-par and the plots boring.

Pretty good anime with likeable characters.

I'm a big fan of anime, and have been since childhood (Yay Voltron!). I collect manga, go to Cons, and have a plethora of imported toys and knick-knacks. That being said, I must be honest and tell you how much I dislike this show. Truthfully, I haven't watched very many episodes, and the ones I did see were dubbed, but the unbelievable bad quality of the show is why I *can't* progress any further into the DBZ world. It's like torture! I can't understand why it's so popular! There are so many other series worth your time and money...it's really sad that people have become hooked on this one. The only consolation of a DBZ-obsessed public is that the show works like a gateway drug - it drums up interest in other animes, and that's a good thing. The sooner people see what DECENT anime really is, the sooner they'll realize how awful DBZ is.

This show has great action and great characters, the one bad thing about this show is that the plot is kinda odd, its repeating but still very entertaining, i beleive this show belongs in the top ten, it got me into anime. :)

It's great to see some originallity in animation today. The characters have real drama with a few laughs. A great show that shows that you can achieve greatness if you work for it.

One of my personal faves!The story is great.(although its better in the manga because its the way Toriyama intended it)

Is there a 0.000001, in this rating? Japanese cartoons are horrible! When the characters speak? They just move their mouth up 'n' down, up 'n' down, up 'n' down.... The movements are static, the characters are ridiculous... BLEAH! I agree with hrod, hardCritic, and most of all with callmetootie

This show was one of them that got me into anime, but this is a really good show. Whole bunch of fighting and action... But yeah they streched it out WAY too long.. But i stil think it is one of the best. Akira Toriyama did a great job on this. It's the English dub that screwed it up

Another Sucky Japanese Crap cartoon! The animation SUCKS! The action figures are silliest and boring action figure i have ever seen! Tell the Japanese we do not want their crap cartoons in front of our children!!!

Aside from the brilliant fight scenes, Dragonball Z has original plot-lines, interesting situations and brilliant characters. It's the great stories and the depth to both them and to the people in there, and some excellent character development occurs (particuarly with the character, Vegeta). An anime masterpiece.

Well, we know DBZ will not win the title for being very creative. You only have to translate the characters' names into english adn read some of the epsiode titles to figure that out. Let's not forget the basic potline for every saga (New and more powerful enemy(ies) energes, characters must train at some point in the timeline, some of the main characters die, must seek revenge for their deaths, apocalyptic battles to destroy enemy(ies), Possible bring people back to life, Repeat). My friend has a web page based on this theory. Then there are those battles that are so drawn out it's sickening (namely Goku vs. Frieza). Yet, despite all of this, the show is appealing and enjoyable to watch. Those who need a good term paper thesis, you may want to think about this one (if it fits your class description).

Despite the fact I might be a little old to be watching cartoons.....I found DragonBall Z was quite entertaining, the only problem I have with this cartoon is that everything seems to take such a long time to happen! In some scenes the characters are standing around motionless.....that bothers me a lot.

i love that show it is great japanese animation, and a very good show. i never miss an episode, i watch it everyday wit my brother.

An overdone and terribly unimaginative cartoon series. An interesting plot is completly wasted and the characters are unlikeable.

My favorite cartoon! It's the best animated action show out there, not that Power Puff Girl crap. The show is really funny at times too. And if you get really into yhe show like I am and you're kind of sensitive, you just might find yourself crying. It's not that the show has drama in it, it's just that some of the death scenes really get to you. So if you're looking for something unique, check out Dragonball Z. You might also want to check out the unedited versions(if you're old enough) Because the Japanese ones are better.

DBZ rocks! With chars. like Vegeta the ultimats arsehole, Goku the clueless eating machine, and hot chicks like Bulma and Videl. This show has the right combination of comedy and action. I have to say though the original Japanese version is 100 times better than that watered down cartoon network crap.
