This is a horrible waste of money! It does not work contrary to what it says it will! I do not have sensitive skin and 3 days after using this product my skin became unbarebly dry (nothing will moisturize it, and my skin is cracked all over, I look like a snake) and I broke out more than I ever have in my entire life. My lips are even dry from this! It has been 2 weeks since I have stopped using this product and my skin still will not calm down. I would NOT recommend this system and I would seriously suggest researching this product before use. I am a very dissatisfied customer. Please do NOT buy! PS I would have given this a zero star but it wouldn't let me.

I purchased my kit about 2 months ago. It has worked so well on my skin. I use all the products in it and will definitely continue buying it. It has been instrumental in controlling the acne and keeping my face clear. I have hormonal issues (high testosterone) so when I control this and use the product, my skin remains moist and healthy not dry and painful like with so many other products out there. While I use the cleanser at night and in the morning, I use the salicylic acid mask only at night and I apply the face lotion under my make up each morning.

The main ingredient is Salicylic Acid & really that's the only one that counts! S-acid is in most of the acne products out there. Read the REAL reviews (not the planted ones) and you'll see like I experienced that this product will not only make your acne worse, but could change your acne to cystic which HURTS & you'll have to go on accutane. Whatever kind of acne you have, you owe it to yourself to either see a doctor, or research yourself on what may work for you. Don't waste your time, effort, money, or heartache on this junk. Proactive & Murad are now at even par for scamming desperate people into thinking their skin will get better by lining the company pockets with peoples money & tears. Shame on both companies.

Like so many others, I've been struggling with acne since I was a teen. I am now 24 and I still have problems with acne. I've been to several dermatologists, have been on multiple oral medications and countless tubes of creams and gels. Nothing really worked. So a few days ago, on a whim, I bought Murad's Acne Complex kit. I was very pleased with my glowing skin after the first application. But then the next day I read all of the negative reviews on here and almost stopped using it, out of fear of plague-like rashes and monster break-outs. I'm glad I kept with it because it really seems to be helping my acne and surprisingly, my skin tone. I didn't realize how uneven my skin was until I started using these products. I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5, simply because I haven't been using it for a long period of time. Obviously, this kit is very hit or miss. It either works for you or it doesn't. I would urge you to give it a try and see if it is right for your skin. And... Read more

I thought that i finally find the right treatment. But when i used it for a month. I know that i need to find a new treatment. Another long way to go. I have sensitive skin. I have problem using proactive since my skin is allergic to Benzyol peroxide. Murad said it has no Benzyol peroxide and i was excited to use it. But i get nothing. My acne is still coming just like it used to be before i am using the product. Even worst if i can say. I started to get more whiteheads. The 2nd step of this treatment caused my skin to get red. The only thing i like about this product is the moisturizer. It makes my skin feel soft and i also like the smell. I wonder why this doesn't work for me since i know that it works for a lot of people.
